Nueces Brewing and Barbecuing

I love Nueces Brewery for so many reasons. One, their beer is really good. Two, their barbecue is extremely good. It’s kid and pet friendly, and just a vibe. Local art hangs on the walls, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and it’s clean and cozy. I also love that they were part of the uprising of downtown Corpus Christi, joining the revitalization effort of my beloved City.

I’ve had the brisket, pork ribs, and the elote (corn) cup is a 10 out of 10 recommend.

If you enjoy beer, barbecue, and cool places to chill then you’ll love Nueces Brewery. You can also enjoy their brews at most of the good bars around Corpus Christi. And take a growler or some cans to go (pro tip).

I brought my parents here while visiting in town, it was also my first time, and we were very impressed. Quick service, the food came out quick, the prices were reasonable on top of it all. Bathrooms were also clean.

The “Catch Me if You Can,” The “Winter Texan,” and the “Original Lager” were table favorites.

Excellent craft beer! Bought two flights with a couple of overlaps. Loved all of them! Food was great. Service was fast and my dog was allowed, even in the a/c. Absolutely no complaints and will definitely come again next time in town.

This is a must if you come to Corpus Christi. The brisket and ribs are the best I've had in a very long time. They offer meat by the pound, but you can also get it in sandwiches, tacos or quesadillas if you prefer. The beer selection is great too. I tried 3 different kinds and they were all good. On top of that, very nice view from the outdoor terrace and the price are very reasonable.

Update. Ok so 12 bucks for a small glass of cider is highway crime robbery talk about a bad suprise. But other then that the food is Awesome place to grab a bite to eat and prices are pretty good. The atmosphere is very welcoming with tons of art that can be purchased. The owner is also very friendly and helpful. I ordered the spud. It had brisket that was delicious and there sauce is pretty sweet. The beer selection is filled with plenty of choices to choose from. I will definitely go back to try other options

If this place isn't heaven.... First off the BBQ, the brisket was delicious (don't mind the picture my wife took a chunk), very moist and well done. The ribs and sausage were also very well done. You didn't get much meat on the combo but it was enough to try them. The beer was decent as well. I tried the Devil's Bock and the El Viejo Loco. The Loco was very...and I mean very heavy on the rum barrel, maybe a little too much but still drinkable. Would go back

Inside and nice and cool, very spacious seating and room for big groups.

Staff is friendly, and on point with their suggestions.

Great place to stop, and try some solid local craft beers.

We didn’t order any food, though the tables around us did… and it looked amazing!

Very good selection of tasty beers! BBQ brisket some of the best I've had and pulled pork sandwich also great. Bartender/waitstaff very friendly, prompt and attentive.

Dang good lunch! Brisket street tacos and a cold Mexican style lager on Cinco De Mayo. Love the salsa/sauce on the tacos! Also, I ordered the coleslaw as a side, fresh made! BBQ sauce is awesome, just the right spice and tangy.

This brewery is a true paradise for beer lovers! With its excellent beers, a simple yet delicious BBQ menu, a welcoming dog-friendly environment complete with free biscuits, and a charming outdoor patio, it's a must-visit destination. Despite some of the bartenders seeming a bit standoff-ish they still get five stars because of the food and atmosphere.

Pretty sweet place they were very accommodating to my pregnant wife and me having extreme diarrhea in the back. Honestly not sure why I’m still allowed here but the cowboy hat guy let me come back inside so that was cool. Anyway come out do bingo drink beer

Also, Nueces is great. We had the brisket baked potato and The Hyde Cider, jalapeno cheddar sausage, and potato salad and Winter Lager

Nueces is our favorite brewery in town. It has a great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. It's spacious and clean inside with plenty of seating, and the same goes for their outdoor patio. Best of all, they're DOG FRIENDLY both inside and outside.
Their food is delicious. They don't always have brisket tamales, but I always get them when they do.
Lastly, their beer is wonderful. We always get the Supremo or the Supremo Melon when they have it.

The bingo announcer at this brewpub thinks he’s the reincarnation of Oscar Wilde, but the reality is more like Mr. Bean attempting stand-up. The wit is as dry as the Sahara, and the punchlines are so subtle, they may have missed their own jokes. If you enjoy awkward silences and forced laughter, this is your guy. It’s not a comedy show; it’s a test of how long you can maintain a polite smile. The only thing sharper than his wit is the cringe it induces. Five stars for unintentional comedy and a bonus point for the patience it takes not to heckle. Plus the beer is good.

Great local beer. I have had the bbq a few times and it’s pretty decent but the beer is the best in the city.

Full time traveler here (@whatrvdoing). We stopped in to meet some friends. HUGE welcoming tap house. Large community tables that boast the "meet people" vibes. The beer! omg I got the Original Lager (1), Devils Bock (8), Adam West Coast Hazy IPA (9), and the Citramatic IPA (11) in flight fashion per the bar tenders suggestion. She says "this is lager country" when I mentioned that I like Hazy's. Well alright then, gimme a lager! The beer was goooooooood! smooth, yummy. And all of them. The tacos were good, I like them, however the Mac and cheese was meh and the cheese from the nachos was a bit too salty. Must be a coastal thing but idk. Go drink beer here. It rocks. I would love to do a drone tour of this place!

Favorite spot for food and drinks. Basically the only brewery in town with there own stuff. Patio is adorable and everyone is friendly.

We were at Nueces brewing company and all of a sudden my wife went into labor, the staff sprung into action delivering my new born baby and Using their company shirts to wrap my freshly warm infant. After the chaos they handed my a cold free beer!!!!! And even named my child!!!! 10/10 highly
