Sunset Retreat

We went about 2 weeks ago. It was honestly so much fun, the hike down to the lake is not bad at all. The area is peaceful, beautiful and spacious house. The only complaint here is the AC, the house is too big and the unit cannot keep up. It wasn't too hot to handle though. Once the sun goes down the house cools up.

This place was luxurious! The beach is only a short walk away from the backyard, but you do have to climb down a hill of rocks, so be careful. There are four bedrooms, three with a private bathroom plus one extra bathroom next to the one that doesn't have one. There are two dining rooms, a large kitchen with a counter and island, and a living room with a view of Lake Whitney. There is also a lot area with a couch (and TV, if I recall correctly) upstairs between the two upstairs bedrooms). There is a fire pit in the side yard, along with two sitting areas on the deck outside. The drive here is easy to make with the proper directions. The neighbors on one side are a little close, but there is still privacy. The lakeside downhill from the house is formed by rock, not sand. The waves can get pretty big for a lake, but not so aggressive as ocean waves, from my experience.

We had a wonderful relaxing time when we stayed!

The visit was amazing and very fun.
