Katz 21 Steak & Spirits

This was our first time here and it was definitely a different experience in Corpus Christi. Our waiter Chris was very informative on the menu. He asked if it was our first time which I thought was extremely helpful so he was able to give us some great choices. Great waiter! The fact that they take thier time in bringing you the appetizer and then wait to bring you your soup or salad after your done with your appetizer was the best. Most restaurants bombard you with appetizers, then your salad and you food and your tables covered and you have no room. This was definitely a delightful dinner we finished our appetizer he boxed it up and then brought our salads once we were done then brought our entrees. Perfect timing. The food was excellent. The drinks were great he even went into details on all they had to offer including telling us about the bar in the back with live music. We will definitely be returning. Whether it’s date night or just feeling like some nice ambiance atmospheric time this is the place!

We came here for our anniversary and they did not disappoint! Andre was our server and he was really knowledgeable and helpful when we had any questions. The food was DIVINE! To the drinks, appetizers, main course, and dessert. Well worth the $$$ in our opinion!

This restaurant is an absolute treat and worth every penny. Our server, Wilfrid, was absolutely amazing; detailed knowledge of every menu item, very personable, and friendly. We were out for our anniversary, and he did several cute things to make the day even more special. The customer service was top notch all the way through, and while it was pricey, it was certainly worth it. 10/10, will be back again.

If you want to go to a place to eat good cuts of meat and with the best attention, I recommend it there. Andy attended us, a very friendly person who made us excellent recommendations. Everything tasted good and the drinks were on point.

First time at this restaurant, and it was a semi-special occasion. Regardless, I definitely recommend this place. I wasn't disappointed at any point during the night. Our server, Triston I believe his name is, did an excellent job and acted 5 steps ahead, anticipating things we would or wouldn't need. Excellent service! The food was also excellent, starting with the appetizer, the Katz Meow and the Lobster Bisque. Both excellent starters, especially as seafood options.

The main course, the bone-in ribeye and the prime rib, were absolutely fantastic and cooked to perfection. Tender, just enough spice, and juicy. The whipped potatoes and carrots as sides were enough, but we decided to get a shareable side in the form of au-gratin potatoes. No complaints.

I also ordered a custom martini and they were able to accommodate. This is a place where you get what you pay for, but it can be a little spendy, so choose the occasion wisely!

Food was absolutely delicious. So much flavor. Demetri out server was very attentive. It was a busy Saturday night and the kitchen was backed up but he was sure to keep us updated and was extremely apologetic. It was definitely worth the wait.

Food is awesome! Gotta try lamb rack, pasta and yes the desert pineapple upside cake. You won’t regret it. This is our place whenever we are coming back in town!

4.5 stars! The Greek-style lamb was exemplary. The bread is a sourdough that's rested for 24 hours, so it's incredibly flavorful. If you have the lobster bisque, it's sweet, so ask for some ground peppercorn -- goes a long way. Highly recommend!

Had a fabulous dinner at Katz last night! Out server John was top notch and we took him up on all of his suggestions and we were not disappointed. The best steaks I have ever eaten. 8oz filet mignon with whipped potatoes along with the Katz steak and cake was amazing. The appetizer "the katz meow" was so delicious! We will definitely be back next time we are in Corpus.

It was my first time to eat at Katz. Wilfred was a great waiter. He walked through the beverage menu, appetizers and entrees flawlessly and provided great recommendations. The tomahawk ribeye was delicious!!!

One of the best steaks I have ever had! I miss the tableside Caesar salad, but this food is top notch! Atmosphere is beautiful and quiet, and the staff truly makes you feel special. For sure one of Corpus' best fine dining experiences!

After a long day, we just wanted a good meal and to relax. We dined in the bar and it was a wonderful evening. The food was great! And so was the service and atmosphere! Will be back soon!

I accompanied my wife to her company Christmas party. Never been here. Food was delicious and amazing. The atmosphere,....2 guys playing jazz (upright bass and guitar) were awesome. I enjoyed the experience very much.

We went to a Fisher investment dinner.The food was wonderful.The sea bass was to die for My partner's Fillet was incredible, cooked perfectly. We'll go back again

One of the best brunch experiences I had in a long time. At the new Grub & Social! Great service too. My suggestion , go for the omelettes. I can most definitely said that the food quality in very good. It was served in a timely manner, nice and hot. If you're a traveler it is a must visit. See you again soon!

Katz21 is one of my top two "go to" spots in Corpus. I can say that I have been there maybe 150 times over rthe years, starting when they were downtown.
Service is great, the Atmosphere is great and we tend to order family style so we get an assortment of fish, lamb and steak.

Absolutely delicious. Everything I tried was exceptional. Gorgeous presentation, generous portions, fabulous staff. And the entertainment was rockin. The acoustic performance by the Scarecrow People was on point. If you are considering going, I highly recommend it.

Great Service The Best

We had our 35th year high school reunion here with about 50 people. We had the room on the side reserved and it was warm in there. I like the set up tho. High tables with bench seating on the far walls. Intimate so you're mingling at every turn but it was warm. 🥵
Appetizers were great! Service was awesome! Drinks were amazing!
