Great pan dulce, corn tortillas from Mexico, and asado and barbacoa. I don't have to go to ojinaga anymore for this stuff I love it, plus very friendly staff

Awesome little place we were fortunate to find after driving the River Road. Really nice staff who helped with our snack craving with tasty Tamale's, Churro's and empanada's. We headed back up to have a lunch at an overlook on the River Road.

Make sure to stop in if you are in the area!

Delicious, well prepared assortment of baked goods made by a friendly, welcoming staff. The barbacoa is amazing, the doughnuts are light and airy, the bread rolls are perfect, and the sweet goods are outstanding. A welcome experience in such a rural location.

What am awesome panderia!!! We tried two of everything they had. Molasses piglets and rolls with vanilla pudding. Amazing cinnamon and sugar donuts tasted just like sopapillas! Chocolate frosted donuts were fantastic. Everyone inside was so friendly. We'll be back next time we're in town!

We came in mid afternoon on a Tuesday so we had limited choices but everything we got was DELICIOUS! Had a couple bunelos and several different types of the cookies (polvorones I think?). Managed to snag a few bolillos as well and used them for sandwiches the next day- amazing!

Its always a pleasure going into Don Jose's Panaderia.....they are always so friendly and welcoming! And their bread is always made fresh daily! The extra foods they have is just the cherry on top to this place! 😊 Always delicious!!

Tbh I wrote this just so I can say the guy was very helpful and friendly. I’m not familiar with Mexican bread so I asked him to pick out some bread. Bread is good. Would come again just to talk to him.

Don José Panadería Is a humble family owned restaurant passed down from generation unto generation. They have a modest selection of sweet bread, all baked fresh and with the home made feel. If visiting, there's no other place in Presidio to get authentic Mexican pastries. They also have Asado, and Beans, and barbacoa on certain days, and I recommend you get a"submarino" or Submarine. They don't take long, and for how huge it is, it's very inexpensive. You could feed a party and select the ingredients, although go all the way! It's worth it.

Consistantly great food and service. My go to place for authentic asaderos, tamales, corn tortillas, great baked pastries and so on. If you are passing through, you have to stop in. It's well worth it.

This place is great! A hidden gem here is the “Submarino”, it’s almost like a Mexican calzone. One will feed 5 and for much less than a full meal.

Fresh bread and pastries. Menudo is awsome. Staff is always friendly and helpful. If your passing through presidio make sure to stop and enjoy

The donuts are a throwback to 1950's quality and taste...reminds me of when I was 5 years old eating a donut from Eddies Donut Truck that came to our house in Westford, MA...so good ;-). Thank you Mama

The products were tasty and I like the fact it is open extended hours (bakeries usually close at noon but he is open much longer)
