Santiago's Restaurant

This is hands down the best food west of Abilene we’ve tried! We came into town to drop our animal off for a surgery and decided to stop here for dinner before heading home. Our server was polite and patient while taking our order for a family of 6. She refilled out drinks before we even had time to finish them. I don’t remember her name but she is younger/ high school maybe with blond hair. Plenty of food was served and great tasting. Will definitely be back by! Thanks! 😊

Food was excellent. I had the enchilada plate (beef with green sauce) and added a chili relleno with beef. Service was good too.

Great service and food. I had the Carne asada tacos, which are really good and filling. My husband had a bacon burger, and he said it was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Patties are fresh! Our favorite place in town to eat!

First of all I usually don’t do this but had to share this great experience !! We were at a softball game and walked in with a table of 13. The waitress told us in advance she was the only one working waiting tables. I told her she was fixing to get very busy. She had a great attitude and served us VERY well considering how busy it got. She was very honest with everyone letting them know she was the only one. She took her time and made sure it was done right the first time. As far as the food. Every person at our table ordered something different. I thought oh no this is going to be a disaster. Nope. All of our food came out hot, fresh and great. Everyone loved what they had ordered. I was shocked. My hats off to them. If you want a good meal take your time and try them out.

I was parked at the truck stop across the street for the night, and decided to walk over to Santiago's for dinner. Small town restaurants can be either bad or really good. Fortunately, Santiago's was the latter, and I was really happy with my meal. I ordered the 12 oz ribeye, which came out exactly as I ordered it. It came with a roll and two sides. The best part of a grilled steak is the little charred bits that form when the flames nip at the edges, and my steak had a perfectly cooked outside and medium rare inside. I couldn't have been more pleased. I hope my travels take me back to Colorado City, Texas so I can eat here again.

10/10 recommend this restaurant if you are ever in Colorado city Texas! Their food is amazing! Their sweet tea is so yummy! I loved everything I tried! It's also right off of the highway. I'm from New Mexico and was thinking the Mexican food here would be weird. But let me tell you it did not disappoint!

EXCELLENT customer service and I highly recommend the steaks. It was perfectly cooked, and the green beans were very good. I came in 20 minutes before they closed and was promptly served, and the steak was so excellently marinaded that you dont need steak sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We loved it! I was with a prison ministry group and they stayed late so we could eat when we finished. Daisy was already home but came back willingly. She is amazing!

Our server Brittany was very attentive along with taking care of her other tables. It was fairly busy. Food is always good. Our steaks were cooked exactly how we ordered them. This is not our first time there. Just first time to finally review. Other wait staff seems to have issues working there. One server I think her name starts with an M was surly with her coworkers and with some of her patrons.
News flash. All of your customers pay attention to your staff and how they present themselves whether to each other or your customers. Please correct this. But we will be back, however. We will also be sure to get Brittany or Jasmine for our server. Never have had am issue with either of them.

Absolutely love this place! Always friendly hard working staff. We've always had fast and friendly service. Never have we ever had a bad experience no matter what time of day and we eat here at least once ot twice a week!

I stopped in for a pleasant noon meal with a Pastor friend of mine to discuss a Bible Study he had prepared. It was not overly crowded. It is a very popular place in Colorado City to get a good meal. We both enjoyed sizzling fajitas and ice cold sweet tea. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Fajitas is my favorite meal, and no one offers a better fajita than Santiago's. God bless.

We came in with a large party (approx 40 people). They took great care of us. That's pretty amazing these days with every restaurant being short staffed. I had a shredded chicken taco salad and it was great. My boyfriend had the ground beef soft tacos. They looked good but I didn't get a bite. As usual I forgot to take a picture before I ate mine. My plate is clean now. :)

Great place to try! Best sweet tea in western Texas, always just right. I tried the chicken fajitas and my wife had the chicken fajita taco salad. Both were made fresh and came out hot. Staff is upbeat and attentive.

We have always gotten good food here! Really love their shrimp fajitas and shrimp fajita salad. Several of my family have gotten steaks here as well and were very pleased with the quality and taste.

Amazing soft chicken tacos the best chips and salsa I have ever had and nice employees I have never had a problem with the taste of the food and if they don’t get the order right they happily take it back and fix it

I ordered 2 Sopes, for those who don't know what that is, it is a deep-fried tortilla topped with lettuce, refried beans, tomatoes and fresh avocado on top of it, kind of like a tostada but the tortilla is thicker. My family always has the complicated orders but Santiago's staff managed to get it all right and were super friendly about it. I also ordered sliced avocados and literally got a whole avocado sliced like a flower on a plate, great presentation. Average food plate is $9, for fresh ingredients...not too shabby and a soft mellow atmosphere. Loved it!

When this review popped up, it asked if I would recommed them for Vegan?? Dont know abiut that #$@%, but they made a fantastic steak and the green beans were awesome fir you "Vegans." Opps never mind, there was Bacon in them that was delicious!!

Very nice atmosphere, good service and the food was very good. We did not have to wait long for our order. Overall a good dining experience.
