Southern Style Crossfit

I joined SSC over 2 years ago basically because my physical therapist told me it was the best exercise for my condition. I suffered a massive brain aneurysm and a hemorrhagic stroke in August of 2020. It is not only a fabulous way to get in shape, but also a family that treats me so kind, each and every member including my instructor, Misty Thomas. Everyone there is most supportive and encouraging. I look forward to working out now! If I can do it so can you! What are you waiting on? Please give us a try! Southern Style CrossFit is an amazing gym!! Misty and the coaches are knowledgeable and supportive. They are always pushing me to do my best. The WODs are challenging but also incredibly rewarding. The community here is amazing, everyone is so friendly and encouraging. If you're looking for a welcoming and motivating place to work out, this is definitely the place to be!!!

I have been in CrossFit for over 10 years, competed in 8 CrossFit Opens, and have dropped in at over 70 CrossFit Boxes. I can tell you without hesitation Southern Style Crossfit is a superb top notch CrossFit Box. The Box located in a small Alabama community is a diamond in the rough. The owner is an outstanding coach and more importantly a caring cross-fitter of this community.
The equipment is not only new and in outstanding shape, but the equipment is very plentiful. Southern Style Crossfit is an inviting environment to all and all fitness levels. If you are anywhere remotely close to Southern Style Crossfit you must join/drop in to this gem. You will not be disappointed, I guarantee it.

I joined SSC last summer and I have never regretted it. The coaches push me to be my very best every time I step inside the box. I am in the best physical shape I have been in a long time and I have gained the best community of friendships along with it.

I have been a member for four months. It has helped me loose weight, gain strength and lower my A1C. It is inclusive of all ages and Misty will meet you where you are and scale all movements to adapt to you! I feel so much healthier in such a short period of time.

I have been going to the gym here for a little over a year. This is the best gym experience I have ever had. The welcoming family and challenging workouts bring out the best in me. It really sets the mood for my whole day when I step foot in the gym for a class.

I have been a member of Southern style CrossFit since the beginning. It’s home for me. The coaches have helped me achieve more than I ever thought possible. I’m in better shape than Ive been in years.

Where do I even start… I love CrossFit and the community it brings! I have learned so much since starting. The coaches are absolutely amazing and teach AMAZINGLY! Southern Style CrossFit is definitely a blessing!!
