Came here for the first time today 12/9/23 to go fishing. Water seems low and the bite was good even at 11am when I left. Be advised the mud at the banks is like glue. Bundle up, wear appropriate shoes, and go get those trout!

Trash every where. Not a lot of fish right now. No built places to stand/sit and fish along the water edges. Water was very low and very murky. I saw 3 turtles with the red marks on their faces, not sure if native or someone’s pets. Not very impressed. The town could definitely clean the place up and build some docks or banks along the edges for those who enjoy fishing! Has potential to bring in a lot of people if it was better kept.
