Great food and atmosphere. Well worth it

We had BBQ nachos, been driving past this place for years going to Mississippi and just found it looking on Google maps , good food in an area with little options.

I ordered a double cheeseburger and added bacon with a side of fries. Everything was so fresh and made to order . I will be back !

The best food in winston county! Everything cooked to order, hot and fresh. Best sweet tea around. I have tried about everything and never disappointed. Genorous portions, great prices. Nicest staff you will ever meet. Fast and delicious!

Folks, I passed this place 100+ times as a sales rep passing through weekly. Never stopped until today. I ordered the Double Cheeseburger and added bacon. Let me tell you... I'm the biggest burger connoisseur you'll ever meet. This little place makes the BEST burger you'll ever eat. FRESH meat, PERFECT sear, PERFECT seasoning, FRESH toppings, AMAZING bun. You owe it to yourself to visit. Do NOT let outside looks deceive you. This little gem is now my new and ALL-TIME favorite burger joint!!!

Had the ribeye steak sandwich and fries. SUPERB! The steak was very large, tender and flavorful. The sub roll was toasted to perfection. The fries were hot, crisp and the portion was large. This was our first visit and we are already looking forward to a return visit! I asked a patron who was picking up her order what she recommends here. She said the wings are great, the steak sandwich is what she usually gets (now I know why). She also told me her family eats there a couple of times every week and have never had anything that wasn't delicious. I will post a picture of that ribeye sandwich next time!

WOW! I just stopped by The Food Shack for the first time and that was one of the BEST cheeseburgers I've ever had. I will definitely be going back for more. Everyone these was friendly and there was enough room for me to get my pickup truck and trailer in and out of the parking area with no problem. There is a Jack's being built right down the road but I know where I will be taking my business...The Food Shack!

Very friendly folks, always busy, and the food is very very good! Wished I lived closer than 30mins because I would eat there several times a week! The ribeye sandwich Is melt-in-your-mouth awesome!

We are impressed to say the least! The ribeye sandwich is the best I have ever had. It’s a a real ribeye y’all..and perfectly seasoned.... Their cheese burger was great. The 45 minute drive was worth it and will be worth it again. We will definitely be back. #newfavoriteburgerjoint

Great food! Love the steak salad with A1 & ranch. Call ahead - takes about 30 minutes for food to be ready.

Easily the best food in the area. We like to camp nearby and always make it a point to stop in and get some fried okra, baked potatoes and a chili burger. Super sweet people and the food is always really good.

We had a great experience at "The Food Shack"!!! The staff was friendly, as well as helpful with suggestions, as it was a first time visit, yet definitely won't be the last, if you live in, or are ever in this area, do stop, and enjoy the same experience as we did. Great service, great food, at a great price!!!

When you get tired of eating at home or eating at the same places, they have more southern food choice. They really started out as a shack camper. But they have definitely upgraded to a building now. 👍

Soooooo good!! CASH only. Prices are very decent and the burgers and wings were SO good. We were vacationing on the lake and tried this place so glad we stopped!! They have ice cream too;)

I had a loaded double Cheeseburger 🍔 and it was fat, sloppy, and perfect! Such a treat to get a REAL burger for a change. Avoid the chains and go here instead.

They have the best peach ice cream around...Love coming here..

Had the chili cheese burger and it was sooooo good! Great people that own it and work there and the dining area was cozy with the windows open with the rain falling

I drive from Cullman to get their Burgers!!! I noticed Addison opened a Jack's Hamburger right beside them but there is ABSOLUTELY No Way I'm eating at Jack's if "The Food Shack" is opened!!! THOSE LADIES NEED AN AWARD for their Burgers!!! I also like the onion rings to go with. You girls Rock!
