Barefoot Restaurant

Love the new location and building! Not sure how long ago they moved but we are happy with the choice! The playground next door is the perfect idea for children that don't want to sit and wait for food! Or maybe they don't want to wait for everyone to finish visiting. Either way they can play! The deck area is wonderful and provides a nice view of the river and or playground. Food was spot on and everyone loved their choices! I would definately visit again if in the area!

Very clean. Staff was very nice. Food was good. Sits right on the river Illinois river. Beautiful!!!

My first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. Not sure what I expected but the restaurant was very pretty inside, has a beautiful view and was very comfortable.
The food was good. I had a tenderloin and my friend had the catfish fritters, they were very good, as was my tenderloin. My husband liked his whole catfish. I enjoyed the evening and will definitely go back. I believe it will be a great place to go in good weather and you can sit outside.

Good home cooking and great service.
Sorry you hours are shortened but do what you have to do to stay open. We will return.

If you like fish, this is the place to go. Menu is almost all fish. They do offer other food but not much. But food is good. Service was great and the new place is very nice!!

Great food, with a river view. Kid friendly, they even have a playground next to the restaurant. 5/5.

I had the catfish fritter dinner and it was delicious. The atmosphere was great and there's a nice view of the river. The service was good as well and everything was reasonably priced especially in this current economy.

I love the Barefoot! I have eaten there a total of 8 times (3 times for supper and 5 times for lunch) since they have reopened. So I feel I can give a pretty accurate review. I have had excellent service every time! Food was delicious and hot! I have never had to wait very long! You have a new business that has opened their doors trying to get the kinks worked out. So many negative comments on a forum that so many people read. Barefoot worked hard to open their doors back up and serve the people! Keep up the good work! I'll be back this week!

Food was good. We had fish fritters and cheeseburger.

That food is really good here. It was worth the drive.

We finally got down to try the Barefoot at the new location. I am happy to report our experience was one that will keep us coming back for more. The food, service, and atmosphere was outstanding!

So great to have The Barefoot back in town. The community now has several excellent choices for dining.

We had a party of 4 and picked this restaurant randomly as we were all starving and not from the area .my bf ordered catfish fillets and myself the grilled chicken breast.they both not only looked amazing but tasted sooo good .our waitress was very hospitable and service was great

So glad you reopened!! Its a family tradition to eat here as we carry onto kampsville Indian days..
They have been open for only a few days and they will be getting a sign up. The old one is demolished and the new one is a short ways down the other way!! BEST CATFISH FRITTERS AROUND!!!!!

They have the same recipes as old Barefoot so food is excellent. It's still new so cut them so slack on the wait. Service great, employees friendly, and trying very hard to be efficient. I'm so glad Barefoot back. Missed them.

The Fried 🐔 and Catfish Fritters were both a little too salty for our tastes. But no other complaints. I liked the potatoe salad.

Food and service were great. Be careful using GPS as you could end up in Hamburg and not Hardin.
