First off, bring bug spray! Amazing views await you at the top of this peak but not without a 3.74 uphill hike to the top. In order to get to the trail head you have to drive up a 7 mile gravel single lane road. The beginning of the road appears recently graveled but quickly turns into a pothole ridden road. We drove up in our Honda CRV, careful to go slow, without any issue. The trail itself is well maintained. Near the top there are a few trees over the path and some snowy spots. I walked the trail in running shoes and felt fine. Bring bug spray, water and a snack for the top.

The road up to the trailhead has a bunch of potholes and is mostly a one lane road. I went slowly up to the trailhead and it took about 30 minutes. The trail itself is considered moderate and is mostly a gradual incline. There are areas where you'll have to cross down trees, but if you just follow the path you'll be ok. It's about 8 miles round trip, took a couple hours up and about 1 1/2 on the way down. Once you're at the top you're rewarded with 360 views of the amazing mountain ranges. Definitely worth the hike and the tired legs. I would suggest bug spray, they can be super annoying at times.

There is 10miles off road to the parking lot but it’s fine for most cars. The trail is well maintained and the first half is a little difficult. The 360 degree view at the peak is gorgeous, really worth the total effort!

Road to the trailhead has lots of potholes. Trail itself is a steady climb to the top and you're usually in the trees. Once you get to the summit, you are rewarded with outstanding 360 degree views of the surrounding peaks.

Great hike. Amazing views at top. Rough road, but I made it with a 2WD sedan.

This lovely mountain was steep from the start but the views were gorgeous and totally worth me dying going up the mountain and post holing every other step.

Really great hike! There is an amazing 360 panorama at the top. The only issue is the mosquitos really bothered us. Bring bug repellent or long sleeves...

My friends and I hiked this trail in September. The road was in pretty good condition, the Prius made it up the switchbacks just fine. I think the difficulty was comparable to Poo Poo Point. The best part of the hike is the amazing 360° views at the top! Although it was rainy that day, we could see pretty far. It was cool to see some peaks peeking out of the clouds. Lovely views all the way up. Fall foliage was in full swing. No water sources, bring plenty.

Great flow trail with very little traffic. Check Trailforks for latest trail conditions before planning a trip.

The 7.4 mile round trip to the summit and back is well worth it. About halfway through the trail, the view opens up, and then you enter an old growth forest before reaching the summit. There is not a lot of room at the summit which can make it hard to sit and have lunch on a busy day, but there are a few other vistas nearby with enough room. No parking pass was required, but that could always change in the future.

Nice parking lot, full by noon. Trail is in good shape, constance uphill grade. 360 degree view at the top, beautiful on a sunny day.

My girlfriend's Prius made it up the road alright, it was a pretty trail too!

Road and trail are both in great shape in September 2017. Middle difficulty because of the elevation gain, but good views. The trail is runnable.
