Barothy Lodge

We have a group of about 8 guys that fly fish the PM every year and stay at Barothy Lodge and it is top notch. The lodges that we have stayed at are all incredible and very clean. The front desk customer service is outstanding also.

Golly! I cannot speak highly enough of Barothy! We took our annual Girls Trip here for something more low-key and relaxing. Walking through the grounds, along the river, to the duck pond delighted our nature-loving group, and great amenities like the hot tub, pool table, and full kitchen with double oven were a hit. Pricing is reasonable with the suggested size group for the lodges. I am so glad I stumbled upon such a lovely, restorative place; I will be back!!!

My family and I spent a long weekend at Barothy for my Dad’s birthday and we had an incredible trip! The cabins and landscaping were beautiful and there was so much to explore on the grounds. Shout out to Will who took the time to let my 2 year old help him feed the birds and fish - she loved every second of it. Thank you Barothy for an unforgettable experience and we hope to make it back some day!

I went there for a bachelor party. The place that we stayed was right on the p.m. River. What a beautiful setting. The grounds are well maintained, and well kept. Many different areas to accommodate anyone. On the grounds there are trout ponds, a swimming pool, disc golf, reflection tee pee, so many foot trails. many different varieties of birds and wild life. The owners and employees were so accommodating. Their open all year round. Perfect for snowshoeing, and cross country skiing in the winter. I will be bringing the wife here for a get away.

I look forward to coming here every year! It is the perfect family retreat with endless amenities to keep you entertained. Not many places offer what barothy does for a fun reasonable family vacation. We continue to return and have a blast year after year!

The lodge was beautiful, secluded and had awesome ambiance if you like the cabin feel with all the luxury and comfort of home. Beautiful scenic trails, ponds to fish from, playground for the little ones and very close to the river. We had a spectacular view from our lodge deck. Saw lots of wild life including an eagle and it's nest. Be sure to bring your own food and coffee. They supply you with a bag of ice but if you need more you can buy from the office. We stayed at Riverbend and it was perfect!! Will definitely go back.

This place is a hidden gem! It's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! It's so peaceful and so clean. We stayed in River Bend and I will definitely be booking it again. The employees are very nice and there is so much to do (trails, tennis, a pool, shuffleboard, a rock climbing wall, etc.)

We had our small intimate immediate family wedding here & we couldn’t have been happier to have chosen Barothy Lodge for our special day!!! The atmosphere was perfect and all the staff we met were extremely helpful. We can’t wait to visit once again!!! All of our guests complimented the location as well. The next morning was perfect to have a place to stroll as newly weds ❤ thank you for making our special day that more special!!! (So many guests have talked about returning as well)

We celebrated our wedding June 6, 2022 with family & friends at the Main Lodge & Event Center. It was absolutely perfect despite the rain! The staff were amazingly accommodating, friendly and welcoming. I would also highly recommend Tammy’s Tasty Treats for wedding cake & Glorias Catering for food! Rusch Entertainment three piece band did a fabulous job from helping with the ceremony on the front lawn to the final song at the reception! There’s so much for everyone to enjoy on the grounds of Barothy! We plan to come back every year for our anniversary!

Second stay at Barothy's Lodge with a group from my fishing club. Stayed in two different cabins, both amazing. The cabins are very clean, well set up and very comfortable. And the river access is beyond compare. Large, fully outfitted kitchens, big, warm stone fireplaces, lot's of comfortable seating for reading books while you relax after a day outdoors, and NO TVs!!! (but they do have great wifi in the cabins).
Highly recommended.

Already planning our next visit! This property was perfect. It was super clean, and had all the things you need to cook.
A Hot tub, balcony, and comfy beds are just some things that stuck out. It also offered views and privacy. 5 girls with nothing bad to say, you are doing something right! Hope to see you soon. We enjoyed our stay in the chinook cabin very much, will recommend!!

This 2021 trip marks my 3rd visit to Barothy, we generally come with a large group for trout fishing in May. One of the gentleman we come up with has been doing this annual trip for 40+ years! I'm so very thankful to be a part of this annual tradition as I still find more things each year that they have to offer. If you enjoy peace and tranquility you will most definitely find it here! From hiking in the local trails to fishing the banks of the beautiful pere Marquette river it just doesn't get any better! The lodges are great and offer many amenities. The staff are always courteous and willing to make your experience a memorable one. As for others complaining about no TV's or WiFi?? Heck that's why I come here! Thanks for another great year, I look forward to many more!

My daughter had her wedding at one of the lodges and it was absolutely beautiful. With covid-19 ruining days like this, it was nice to have a great place and beautiful looking for a wedding and pictures.
I highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

The Grey Hawk lodge that my family rents is comfortable, roomy and clean. The whole experience at Barothy is relaxing and fun. My nephew's love fishing in the ponds. The staff has been helpful and friendly.

Greatest place to just get away from everything and enjoy yourself. Hosted a bachelor party for my good buddy at Barothy lodge it was a huge success if you love salmon or steelhead fishing. Highly recommend Barothy lodge for anyone looking to go on vacation.

Barothy Lodge provides an excellent setting for a family or other group outing. The Long Lodge was beautiful and well appointed for a fun and rekaxing weekend.
