Stickney's Restaurant

We went for lunch on 8-23, I had the fish and chips! Best I have had in a long time! They were so light and flakey. The tartar sauce was amazing! Not over spiced! Our server Melissa was the bomb!! Talked to us about the hotel and some of the cool things to see. She gave us some tips about Boston, we will be there in the a few weeks! I highly recommend!!

We did not stay at the hotel so we could not make a reservation ahead of time. We arrived at 4:50 and waited for over an hour for a table to open up in the bar area. The bartender who attended to us was not friendly to me first but after talking to my husband (not knowing that we were together) was super friendly and provided an outstanding service. The food was amazing. We enjoyed our meals very much!

On our special day, Myles (?) was a fantastic waiter, going above and beyond with his phenomenal service, even refilling my water without me noticing! And of course who can forget the special complimentary surprise, they made sure our experience was beyond extraordinary and made it memorable for life.

Unfortunately our experience did not start that well. The day before, we were greeted with a bartender at the front seating area, where he was definitely attentive for the first 3 minutes when he asked for what we wanted to drink and I said I needed more time. In the next 8 minutes, we waited for him to come by to even raising my hands to catch his attention when he was clearly available but did not come by. Then a family of 4 came, to whom he came and served immediately. He then took their orders, went back to the bar to make each of the 4 drinks, and came back to serve, all the while my arm was raised to get his attention. After 10 to 15 minutes of foolishly raising my arm, I wanted to walk out. Why was I wasting my time with this guy who was clearly ignoring me. But to clear any confusions, I went up and asked him to be served, to which he said "I came by earlier and you didn't know what to drink". Despite being taken aback with the attitude, I retorted "yeah, that was 10 or 15 minutes ago". And of course because he had to, god forbid, do his job, came by. And said "what do you want". Forget basic manners, his attitude made it feel as if I was trying to de-escalate the tension despite just wanting a nice steak dinner! And of course, he came by promptly requesting to clear my plate when there was clearly plenty of food left.

I don't know if I was racially profiled, but I held it together to not ruin some special moments just because of one ridiculously rude bartender.

Regardless, Myles more than made up for it.

The place itself has great vibes, great food, and great portions! I strongly recommend the location, especially if you're staying at the hotel!

The food at Stickney's restaurant was delicious, especially their appetizers. We ordered mozzarella sticks, calamari, veggie burger, tilapia fish dish, spinach, and their most popular dessert an caramel apple walnut bake.

Love the location of this restaurant as it's great for guests staying at the main hotel. I'd probably try some other main dishes next time like one of their burgers as the fish wasn't my favorite. Definitely would go back here for a meal and a few drinks.

Truly now the best restaurant at the Mt. Washington hotel. New menu just debuted in August 2022, lots of excellent steak options and a locally raised pork chop that is supposed to be like the wagyu beef of pork (certainly was the best pork chop I ever had). Also best crab cakes I've had outside of Maryland! Sides are a la carte like a true steakhouse. Best of all are the views (especially with an outside table!), and kids can play on the grassy hill just below the restaurant. We can't wait to be back!

Great service and convenient location. The food was very fresh and tasted delicious. Definitely recommend if you’re at the resort.

Very nice pub looking out to Mt Washington. We ate outside at socially distant tables. We had a wonderful mussels appetizer, ceaser and caprese salads, lobster mac and planked salmon. All well prepared and delicious. Finished it off with cheesecake and cappuccino as the sun was setting.

Stickney's is one of the nicest restaurant's located within the Omni Mount Washington. The restaurant is located on the bottom floor and has both a nice indoor and outdoor set up. We ate here a number of times (mostly outdoors) during our stay and had a great experience everytime both with the food and service. If your staying at this hotel, Stickney's is the place to be!

Me and my family had the best Birthday lunch for my dad's Birthday thanks to the excellent service of Tony ( the waiter). He is a great guy! He made our day wonderful. 5 stars go to Tony.

Some of the best wings I've had in a while! If you're staying at Bretton Woods anytime soon, stop by Stickney's to get some amazing bar food. I recommend the wings and burger as a starter and main option while you're there. Look out on Mount Washington while you eat your grub fit for a president.

We actually did take out twice ,dined in once the service is amazing ,the wings are so good had them twice .Old world charm inside the Mount Washington hotel Omini Resorts .

Lovely restaurant and great service. We had a time constrained schedule and our order was expidited. The shrimp cocktail is very good. Quality clam chowder. The exterior doors to the restaurant were left opened and it was warm enough to appreciate the fresh air.

The atmosphere and food is definitely 5-Star, the wait staff and manager were very helpful and attentive. My husband and I dined at Stickney's based on a reccommendation and we were so impressed. The resort is gorgeous and we will be calling to book our Valentine weekend trip at the Omni and hopefully be able to enjoy a romantic sleighride as well!

Was able to get a table in the bar last minute, the drinks were amazing and the burger was the best I’ve ever had. ❤ The clam chowder is also super good. Would definitely recommend to others, plus the hotel is super cool.

Washington hotel was built in 1900-02 and it is beautiful! Lunch at Stickney's was wonderful. Clam chowder & calamari...

Wonderful location, food, ambiance and waitress. We eat here a few times a year and almost always are very pleased. We brought some good friends who hadn't been in years and they were very pleased as well.

Incredible place steeped in history and stunning views

Delicious. Some of the best steak I've ever had (8oz filet). But then it better have been, since it was also one of the most expensive steaks I've ever had.

Amazing outdoor vista of Mt. Washington.

Greatly enjoyed their specialty seasonal Manhattan as well.

Also went here for lunch, and the steak bomb wrap was a good Philly Cheesesteak wrap (this coming from a native Philadelphian).

Bring an empty stomach...and a very full wallet.
