The Lodge at Bretton Woods

I was actually a little nervous when I realized booking “The Lodge” I would be across the street from what looked like an amazing resort. I tried to get the actual Omni, which is what you see across the street and on the hotel website..but it was sold out. Once I got there I realized I struck gold! The main building was so large that I was walking for days to find the coffee shop and pool. I had asked the front desk where to go but the directions weren’t clear and I was just in tears in the lobby. A very nice man that worked there came out, asked if I was ok, escorted me to the coffee shop, and then offered to get me water while I sat down. I have Lyme disease and my body was just shot from the walking. (Walking because my car was parked so far from ordinary, apparently they valet, I never saw anyone)…anyway the guy was so kind and made sure the coffee I ordered was taken care of after seeing me so upset. Customer service is above and beyond. Why did I love the lodge across the street? I parked my car right out front of my room, the bed was literally the most comfortable bed I’ve encountered at a hotel (and I travel a LOT, been to some very high end exclusive resorts too..nothing was ever this good!) The hotel is very private and set up on a hill that looks at the mountains and main hotel, a gorgeous view. We had a slider door that led out to a nice, private sitting area. I absolutely loved it. There is a coffee maker, a tv, a mini fridge…and it was CLEAN. I highly recommend this place. Don’t be fooled by the lesser price and location. It was absolutely perfect for what I felt like staying in the mountains should be like. The actual resort was way too busy and large for my liking. We attended a wedding a mile away and this was the BEST place to relax between events.

Decent ski and stay deal here this past winter. Shuttle available which is nice. Breakfast leaves something to be desired but in line with what you would expect at a free breakfast. Staff was wonderful. Mt Washington resort was right across the street and we were able.gonhead over there for drinks. That was convenient

Outstanding service, they allowed me to check in at 10am, the most friendly and helpful staff you could have on all the 3 hotels. We could use the Spa, the pool and all the nice facilities in the Omni Resort that is right across the street. They have shuttle from and to Ski mountain. Not many restaurants around, but inside Omni and the Inn they have great options. The Lodge has good room to just come home and sleep in good beds and nice linens! Coffee and Hot chocolate free all day! Certainly coming back !

We stayed here a couple of nights at the end of summer. It is literally across the street from, and even within a reasonable walking distance of, the Omni Mount Washington Resort. It has great views of Mount Washington and many other Presidential Peaks as well as the Omni itself, so you are not missing out of much if you stay here (with much better prices for lodging than at the Omni, and they run shuttles between the sites often so you can take advantage of all the Omni has to offer also). It's not as impressive from the road as the Omni, but the rooms and facilities were clean and well-maintained.

The only bad thing I could say was that the indoor swimming pool was a bit cold (though the sauna close by might make up for it). Note also that it backs up along a railroad that may be in operation during the fall foliage season, so it may be a bit noisier then. But we were very happy with our stay here.

The Lodge at Bretton Woods was very neat, and clean. The staff is professional, and friendly. The view from our room was spectacular. Truthfully, it could not have been any better. The bed was very comfortable. We will be enjoying another stay at the Lodge at Bretton Woods. Thank you!

Stated here with the family overnight. The staff is wonderful, room is clean, and you get all the benefits of the fancy Mount Washington hotel without the price. I would highly recommend this place, and I will definitely be staying here again.

If you are looking for an affordable stay in the heart of the White Mountains, this is it! We loved the ability to utilize the resort amenities at the Omni Mount Washington as well as the Lodge. The surrounding area had endless hiking opportunities as well as family fun attractions. We cannot wait to come back!

I highly recommend this Lodge. My husband and I were only there for one night. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly, there's a little shop that includes everything from beer/wine, snacks, toilitries, and most anything you need in the lobby incase you forgot to pack something. We will be returning for many years to come! Also, the views are absolutely stunning!!

The view alone is worth staying here. My first visit here was over thirty years ago when my three girls were very young. We enjoyed the pool and did the drive up to mt Washington etc... The price is very affordable ... Coming back with my grand kids was just magical to say the least ... Highly recommend and the free breakfast was a great addition !!!

Incredible place to stay because you get to use all the Omni Mount Washington Amenities. I would probably recommend staying here over staying at the Omni. You get full use of Omni but pay less than half the price and are in a more modern (better ac) room. Free shuttles run on demand. Not going to say a ton other than to say this is one of my top 3 places I've stayed in the last year because of its relationship with the Omni and what the Omni offers.

It was another fabulous New Year’s with The Mount Washington! Wonderful family time activities and dinners together in a picturesque setting. We look forward to another visit to the elegant country visit. 😊❄🎉

Average hotel. But... it comes with access to the Mount Washington Hotel across the street, which is a FANTASTIC place of historic luxury and grandeur. It's way cool.

Great location near the slopes with free shuttle bus and lift pass included in the room rate. Great view of Mount Washington from our room too!

Location, location, location! Nice rooms, with a great view of Mt. Washington and the hotel. Will definitely stay here next time we are in the white mts!
