Weis Markets

Well-stocked & clean, with friendly employees. Some scary people hang around the parking lot, though. It is not located in the best area. We shop here out of convenience. Gas price usually the best in area.

I come to Elmira every summer and this is the store I shop at the most. Nice workers as well.

Weis is a really nice store. Always well stocked, delicious bakery, and helpful staff. Weis brand ice cream has some really great flavors that you can't find other places.

I enjoy shopping here! My first job at 16 years old, was working here in the produce department. I worked here the first day it opened for a little over a year. The products offered and the appearance of the store has changed tremendously but they still offer great products.

Family friendly grocery store, prices are good, clean and neat.

Always great deals on meats and inexpensive meal ideas.Like million dollar spaghetti pie! I'm a gold member and coupons sent out are always useful since are items I normally purchase

Cheap gas and well managed. The workers at the pumps are sociable and have good customer service. The lot is clean, and the inside has a wide variety of consumer goods.

This place is surprisingly nice. When I was a kid I always thought it was a bit ratty and dirty. The place you'd go to if you were hard on cash and couldn't go to Wegmans.

It has fully become its own place. Staff keeps it clean and we'll maintained. The bakery is like a small town wonky factory and it's all cheap too. I bought the jumbo donuts and they stayed moist in the box from Monday to Saturday when we ate the last one. They have all classic snacks and foods to make it a quick stop for a cheap meal and a robust produce section with some surprisingly good deals. Being in walking distance of a lot of residents makes it popular and it shows they've been investing in the right places.

A little expensive on a daily basis, but watch the weekly ads for great discounts! Good quality meat for a great price.

The store is very clean, usually well stocked, and the staff has always been kind to me. Prices are a little higher then other places and the meat is not thr best for the prices they charge.

While in town visiting family for holiday of course had to pick up last minute items. I find it fun to compare stores against other stores within same franchise. What should all be run so uniformly you will find sadly starkly different at every one under the same name.(I love being a professional trainer lol)
Anyways,Upon my visit the store it was inviting, clean and pretty full of product surprisingly. Very few items were out. Stark difference to stores in my area of vestal NY. Finishing thru they had plenty of staff on hand. Even some working on self checkouts to help customers. I was quite impressed. Management has their team working together at this store.

The meat sales are awesome if you can catch them

Customer Service was excellent! I came in for a Western Union and the operator has it done in less than 5 minutes. I had been to 3 locations previously and either the Western Union was broken, or the employees had no idea how to send money.

Best Pharmacy in the area. Excellent fried chicken. Best white bread. Produce is always very nice!

What can one say it's a really good grocery store, the wings are an excellent on the go food.
Downside this is in a bad section of town a man tried to steal my wife's shoulder bag while riding on a bike in parking lot, he was later caught. Just be careful, it's a decent grocery store.

The cheapest gas station in Elmira ,...cheap in the prices ok ....at least yesterday$ 3.15 a gallon ,when at the others pumps around $3.40 to $3.60 a big difference, right ✅ 🙏💚💚💚

Great prices, always something on sale and brand names. Their points program is awsome also. I saved my points for a free turkey this yr.

Weis is our go to . they always have what we need and the prices aren't that bad you can really tell that corporate has the customer needs first . the store is always clean and plenty of check outs so no lines no waiting . I definitely recommend weis .
