I stayed here through Christmas time with my partner. We stayed in Ms. Otis cabin! While our porch was shared with Guides Cabin, it still felt very private. Our stay was extremely romantic and relaxing! Cabins are very remote, which we enjoyed! Osgood Pond is gorgeous and serene, and there are plenty of trails within the area to check out. I made sure to stock up on groceries prior to checking in and I was glad I did, we didn’t want to leave the cabin at all! We found ourselves laying on the couch in front of the fireplace just relaxing for most of our trip! Cabin was well stocked with pots, pans and cooking utensils. We were provided towels and super soft bed linens as well. I was surprised to even see that our cabin was supplied with coffee and lots of books to read. There’s no television, which we knew about prior! But you truly don’t even miss having one! The WiFi was pretty decent in our cabin too. The Great Room was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the fireplace was a perfect touch! My only complaint about our cabin was that the floors were a little dusty, but there was a broom available so we just swept it up with no issues, also the pillows for the bed were a little flat for my taste. Other than that, it was a perfect little getaway. Tim Moody is an amazing Innkeeper and responds super quick to all inquiries. I truly loved my experience here and I will 100% return soon.

The cabin had everything we needed (except a blender, but not everyone needs one of those!). Loved the kayaks and canoes. Did wish the row boat oars were in working order. Tim was the best! Other guests were incredibly respectful and friendly. There are several nice day trip paddles from Osgood Pond. Saranac Lake (the town) isn't far and has great shops, art, and restaurants. The Paul Smith Interpretive Center is a MUST- be sure to check out the butterflies and hummingbirds. The college is awesome, as well. We ate at the cafeteria for $10- all you can eat. Very nice campus bookstore, too. It was a relaxing vacation for us girls. Highly recommended.

This place is beautiful. The cabin rooms we stayed in were basically brand new because much of the place is recently renovated. It was cozy, warm, and extremely clean. We also had fun exploring the grounds (and older buildings) by walking around on the snowy trails. We saw the lake, boathouse, bowling alley, and tried a little ping-pong. This place would also be great in the summer.

I booked here to celebrate an anniversary and I had an emergency occur that didn't allow me to check in on the dates I planned to. Tim the innkeeper was very accommodating and sympathetic to us about the whole situation. I was so thankful and knew this would not be the treatment if I had booked through airbnb. The camp was beautiful. We went on a rainy weekend and still enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. I can't imagine the beauty it has in the summer or winter months. Overall great experience and grateful for it all. Will recommend this place to everyone craving a peaceful connection with company and nature. Thank you again to the staff.

We hosted our wedding here this past weekend. The staff, especially Tim, are so kind and really care about their guests. The camp itself is a snapshot of perfection for all nature lovers. If you want a truly transformative experience, come to White Pine. Our favorite cabins are Hermit’s Hut for its privacy and Kirkwood if you’re looking for more updated amenities.

We stayed in a cozy two story cabin, Kirkwood. Finding out that Calvin Coolidge stayed here for 10 weeks in the summer, we could easily come back again for a longer stay.

Perks: Family friendly. Full sized kitchen. Ample dishware and supplies. Gas fireplace. Ventilated heating and cooling. Ample dining and living space for 4 people. Cabin stocked with books and board games in lieu of a television. Windows with ample sunlight outlooking beautiful views to nature. 20 minute drive to the nearest grocery store and restaurants.

Cons: Not a big deal, but our check-in wasn’t a smooth process. We got an email with instructions for self check-in and we didn’t successfully locate our cabin with those instructions. We stopped to ask for directions from the main office. The property isn’t very large, and once familiar, the buildings aren’t hard to locate. However, there aren’t signs marked on the road or the buildings except to direct you to the main office. All the cabins were given unique arbitrary names not in numerical order and no signs on the premise showing where your cabin is. We weren’t able to get our keys from staff until the next morning when we retrieved them from the main office.

We were in the newly rebuilt 'lodge'. The camp is all self catering so service does really apply. We cook all our meals as there is no where to eat in the area. It is wonderful for nature, very Peaceful

The perfect stay for a couple or an entire family.
An extremely large camp with plenty of space for everyone!
We went during the coldest time of the year, the low was -22 degrees, we stayed mid-January 2022.
We stayed in the new section of camp that is being rebuilt, the OSGOOD cabin.
This cabin was big enough with a full kitchen, bathroom, and a small table for dining in the main bedroom. Small, but cozy and Excellent for 2!
Lots of cool buildings and places to hang out at the camp!
Would stay there again!

Booking and checking was very easy and communicative. Very detailed instructions. Gate cottage was clean, big, comfortable and with all the essentials. They even left the fireplace setup, ready to light! We also loved the extra recreational sites inside the camp such as: antique bowling alley, japanese tea house, boat house (with boats, paddles, and life vest included), tennis house, and other community areas.

Gate house is a bit far from the rest of the camp and amenities. There is basically no phone reception through the camp. The camp provides wifi and landlines on the "Great Room", a recreational day-room. I would come prepared and expect to be completely disconnected from TV/Phone/electronics. All firewood is included by the camp.

Overall we loved the experience, the amenities, the overall location relative to the mountains and attractions. Would definitely return possible.

White Pine Camp Review

We were recently at the camp and DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE. WARNING: This amazing place is NOT for partying it up. This place is for a quiet, wonderful, relaxing, peaceful, enjoyable time away from hectic society. There are NO TVs or RADIOS in the guest rooms, which we were THRILLED about, and Internet access is ONLY in the Great Room, which we were also thrilled about because it forced us to disconnect from our devices as much as we could. In fact, my Honey refused to listen to any news of the "outside world.". There is what my Honey calls the "Great Silence" (she's a former hermit) from 10 pm through either 6, 7 or 8 am. During those times, guests are asked not to make noise to respect other guests who may be sleeping, enjoying quiet time, watching the starlit sky, etc. Our kind of place!!!!!! The camp is still having some renovations going on after the devastating fire in 2020, BUT the new rooms at the Lodge are beautiful. I believe each Lodge room has a gas fire stove and not wood, which we liked. It kept the place cozy, but we would turn it off when not in the room and when we went to bed. There was also a thermostat in our Lodge Room, which was self-controlled and does get warm fast, especially with the fireplace so we used it as needed. There is no parking in front of the rooms, and I believe the Great Room too but the guest parking lot is a very short walk. You can drive up though to unload and/or pack. Even though we went when things were beginning to thaw, and it was still cold, we did greatly enjoy our time there. The grounds are beautiful, and we hope to get back in warmer weather to go boating and do a little fishing, but most especially to relax and unwind. The camp literally does provide everything in the rooms. We had a stove, microwave, toaster, utensils, cookware, glasses, coffee mugs, a drip coffee maker, towels, etc. The refrigerator in our room was awesome. I would suggest keeping it at the recommended temperature in the fridge and freezer because during the evening the ice cubes froze within a half hour and they started popping out of the ice tray, LOL. Finally, we want to give a shoutout to the Innkeeper, Tim Moody. What a great guy. Don't hesitate to ask Tim anything. Oh, and when making reservations online, you may just want to check-in with Tim before hitting the purchase button just to be sure. We mentioned to him that we saw some of the dates in late spring were already taken up so we were going to choose a later date to go up there, but he said to call just in case. Thanks, Tim. See you soon, God willing. Peace!

Cannot wait to come back! They are still undergoing construction of several cabins on the property that have been destroyed by a fire but that did not take away from our 3-day weekend experience in late October. We were even upgraded to a lakefront cabin that made all the difference because the cabin we booked was still undergoing construction. The views were incredible and walking the property at sunrise/sunset for those perfect photos was a must. The amenities here are great, but you should definetly bring groceries with you. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and everything we needed, just bring your own oil/vinegar/spices. The firewood that was readily available made for such a cozy cabin experience. Couldn't be happier with our trip here.

Absolutely beautiful, rich in history, comfortable and cozy. My family and I stayed here for a short New Year getaway, and we will definitely be back in summertime. Extra thanks to Tim the caretaker who went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Lovely, remote , speaking of a by-gone era White Pine Camp offers a chance to unplug and unwind. Right on Osgood Pond there are opportunities for canoing, hiking, relaxing at the Teahouse, or bowling where President Calvin Coolidge threw his bowling balls. Something for everyone including a 2 HR walking historical tour of the complex!

Friendly service. The lake was warm and shallow for the kids. We were able to fish and take out the boats. The bowling alley was soooo much fun! Our cabin was fully furnished and had 2 full baths and 3 bedrooms. Also a kitchen, dining room, and living room. It's a beautiful place.

We had our wedding here. Right off the bat, Tim was patient and helpful throughout the entire process. The setting itself is majestic. The crew managed to keep the entire property spotless and beautiful while camouflaged into the scenery. The crew also exceeded our expectations and was helpful in our cleanup, escorting elderly, moving heavy items, helping with set up and breaking things down. White Pine Camp is a special place. It was perfect for our wedding. We were able to spend time with those close to us in seclusion without distraction. We enjoyed the game room, boats, lake, fishing, bowling and tea house. My wife and I are eternally grateful for the staff for providing us with a perfect wedding weekend.

Spectacular place to get away from all the busy that surrounds you every day. A place that magically helps you to slow down, enjoy a slower pace surrounded by wilderness. The cabins are a nice size, clean, comfortable, with the needed amenities in your private kitchen. Access to boats, tennis court, swimming, lounging, with an attentive staff that is respectful of your privacy..

It is also fun to learn the history of the historic great camp, with its many innovative firsts in great camps, along with being the summer White House for President Calvin Coolidge, along with a innovative Adirondack garden with its unique landscape flora and fona.

Close enough to everything you need, secluded enough to enjoy a well deserved rest.

Homey cabins right of Osgood Pond. You can hear loons at night, a really peaceful place with old great camp charm and history. About a half hour drive to most places, including Lake Placid. Owned by a group of shareholders and managers are friendly and helpful. A true getaway.

We've been coming here for 13 years and it's perfect every time. Don't expect posh elegance; it's cabins and nature with history thrown in just as we happen to like it. It's very quiet unless you get the wrong fellow guests. Kayaks and canoes are provided at the 2 boat houses along with a pool table, an antique but working bowling alley, and a ping pong table. All the cabins we've stayed in have small, but workable kitchens and charcoal grills, but there are restaurants about 25 minutes away in Saranac Lake and a bit farther in Lake Placid if you don't feel like cooking all the time. The VIC is a 10 minute drive and has easy hiking/nature trails good for bird watching and stretching your legs.
