Jamestown Hotel Restaurant

We had breakfast. The stuffed hash browns!!!! Yummy. (I ordered mine without the gravy) The corned beef hash wasn't really a hash( no potatoes mixed in it) or served with. It was just shredded corned beef on a plate with eggs. The coffee was the best in Sanora and James Town. We will definitely be back!

Very comfortable and good looking structure, we found a clean and nice room (small room but big bathroom)
We slept here on our way to Yosemite park. Not really close to it but ok for us.
We suggest to arrive there not too late as all restaurants close quite early.
Recommended!

Took my sister here for her 60th bday and we had a blast! Great food, above exceptional service, fun day!

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago, really enjoyed it. Rooms are nice and clean, staff really friendly, and enjoyed a really great breakfast. Did not see any friendly ghosts, though that wasn't a surprise as ghosts do not exist.
5 stars would recommend.

I fell in love with this place the moment I walk through the doors. The rooms were really nicely done and bigger than most hotels. In addition, this hotel has friendly resident ghosts. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. They have a great bar and just started having live entertainment

We came in for lunch and had some great Margaritas made by Jack. The burgers were excellent and the service even better. Thank you Jack for making our first visit great

Very cool historic hotel with preserved and new amenities. The food is good but they serve about 4 courses for dinner so be ready for a lot of food.

I only went to the bar..the lady at the front was super friendly, like real country type friendly..there were a few people in the bar and the band was getting set up. The bartender was the hit of the house! Great laugh and even better drink slinger!! Love ya Michelle..

The food was really good. And really great portions too! We were shocked haha. Our waitress was really nice and apologetic when our food was taking forever. We apparently came during the shift changes so we were waiting for a good minute but she brought out some extra goodies for my girls and just made it a very good experience. We will definitely be coming back (:

Went hiking today with my family and we stopped at the Jamestown Hotel Restaurant for an early Dinner. The food was so delicious. I mean I am incredibly impressed at the freshness, taste and presentation of all the dishes we ordered. I highly recommend the small plates menu. The wait staff are incredibly helpful, attentive and friendly. Tyler was our waiter today he went above and beyond serving our family today! Great day up at one of our favorite places to visit for the day!

Fish and Chips were better than ever, chicken sandwich seasoned to perfection, chef altered bread for dietary needs, serving sizes more than adequate, excellent friendly attentive, service.

Had a great weekend visit. we're very clean and met all safety protocols. Customer service from all the personnel was very friendly, helpful and engaging but not intrusive. Food in the restaurant provided great value and very tasty selections and nice ambiance with the outdoor porch area. Special praises for Yvonda and Bonnie for their excellent service and sunny demeanor. Nice get a way for a few days in the mother lode - highly recommend.

Didn't get pics of our food but it was very good. Prime rib and lobster special was great. Meat was done perfect. Big plate of food. Service and drinks were also good. We sat on the patio. It was very nice.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms were very clean. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience great! The rumor is this place is haunted but the staff says it only has”nice ghosts”. This is the second time we stayed in the hotel. The first time one of the ghosts knocked a mirror off the wall. Our second visit was uneventful, no ghosts. I highly suggest eating breakfast here! The Irish nachos are great!

The vibe is great here. Friendly and fun wait staff that really hustles and maintains a pleasant attitude. Food? Omg 😳 the ultimate. The combo of staff, food, indoor or outdoor seating plus fun & cozy bar, one leaves feeling good. Been customer since 1993.

National Hote is where I was, not at the other one.Good food and service.Hotel is 150 yrs old. They have ghosts there too.stay a couple of nites and maybe u will experience paranormal things happening.

we had a really great time at this place. We came late and quite tired, the bar downstairs was the perfect spot. There was enough space for the kids to run around and even toys for them to play. Our room was spacious and quiet beds were comfortable (mattresses were quite soft). Breakfast was good, staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd love to come again.
