Great food and attentive service. The breakfast special was ham and eggs, and was very generous with biscuits and gravy included. Could not finish it all, and was on special for $9.99. Our waitress was fun and never let our coffee cups get empty. Great place next to a clean motel.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. breakfast was absolutely delicious and service was great!!! It’s nothing like the average egg and bacon. Their chef did a great job making the meal tasty and not bland. Our server Johnathon was friendly and provided excellent service. I asked for my hash browns to be certain way and he made sure they were. He also suggested the home made jam which was so delicious that we bought couple of jars to take home and we are enjoying them at home. We would certainly come back anytime we’re in town. We had breakfast here this morning. I’ll start with this, the service was outstanding. Our server was a super friendly guy, on top of things and accommodating.

The food was…ok. My meal came with what looked like a clump of hair mixed into the potato’s. They took it back, recooked the entire meal and took the meal off of our bill.

When I got the food, it was good, typical greasy spoon fare. More or less what we expected.

Though it wasn’t the best experience, I’m giving them 5 stars because the staff were friendly, and dealt with the issue as well as I could have expected.

I’ve eaten at this restaurant a few times for lunch and a few of the other My Garden Cafés and the food is always good. My new favorite is the vegetable sandwich with turkey added and a side salad with honey mustard dressing. The other dish is the taco salad.

What a cute place. We were in the area for a wedding and the next morning looking for a place to eat brunch. I loved the selection that had plant based for me and everything else for my husband. The people were super sweet and attentive, especially to my husband's coffee needs (lots), and the restaurant was clean and adorable. This was a great Google find, and we live close enough to return.

Love their food but I especially love the hot turkey with mashed potatoes, gravy and vegetables. So so good every time and the servers are so friendly. Very clean restaurant, my favorite place to eat in Sonora.

My Father and I try to have breakfast there every weekend. Everytime we have, the food has been great and the staff has been amazing. Very good place.

Will be back to try lunch, breakfast was great.

Stopped in for breakfast on a motorcycle trip. The service was outstanding. The $9.99 ham breakfast special would have fed two people and everything tasted great. I'll definitely stop here again when I'm in the area.

I mainly eat breakfast there, which consists of biscuits and gravy, which is the BOMB! Parking is okay. Prices and portions are reasonable. Service is pretty good, and they're fast getting that food out to your table! I'd give it 5 stars all the way across I just feel the atmosphere and tables could be improved because the seats are way broken down.

Fairly priced meals, good sized portions and great service. What more can you ask for? My only complaint would be the inside of the restaurant could use a thorough cleaning and freshening up.

The breakfast here is so delicious! And the service was ok. I am from Riverside, and I am actually thinking of coming back all the way over here just to eat here. I highly recommend it.

I m up and down the state of California as my job has me all over the place, I was in town of Sonora, came across this small mom and pop joint, just like the beginning. As I walked in, I was greeted/acknowledged immediately by the host and waitress and seated. The service was great, prices not bad at all. What I loved was the great attitude and how they followed up with you refilled my coffee and asked if anything else. They were on it. That positive attitude just love it. Great place for breakfast. Trust me I visit many restaurants since I’m always on the road and this is I e of them gems. Not sure on lunch but next time in town definitely swing by this place.

Great food, great atmosphere...

If I could rate more I would, over the week I spent here they remembered me, were always quicker then I thought, the portions are wonderful for the price, and the food was absolutely stupendous. A classic small town diner! Truly fantastic!

My Garden Cafe is a great restaurant for breakfast. Quick and friendly service. Enjoyed their French toast and their waffles this week while visiting the area. Also enjoyed the tasty and generous ham slice option. Good coffee too. They are only open for breakfast and lunch.

Biscuits and gravy were pretty good. It's a sausage gravy but I prefer bacon. Still gravy was pretty good and the biscuits were huge and fluffy and fresh. So that was my first experience there. And can't forget the friendly staff. Waitress super cool. I was there in the morning hours. No picture because food already devoured.

You won’t find better food with such friendly folks anywhere in town.

HUGE PORTIONS! Country fried steak and biscuits and gravy was delicious. Great service with a smile also.
