Ordered to go, and it was delicious.

Dined in and ate at the bar.

Greeted at the front desk and sat in my area of choice.
Bartender greeted me and served me promptly.
Asked if I needed time, but I knew what I wanted to order, those blue corn enchiladas 😋.
Ordered a godfather margarita, and it was awesome 👌
Made to perfection 👍
For the entree, I had the blue corn enchiladas for the second time and was equally delicious as was when I ordered to go.

We were seated right away and our server, Mo, acknowledged us almost immediately. The our table was clean and the chips and salsa were fresh. We ordered the stuffed sopapilla and a slopper. The food came out fast and very hot. Both dishes were on point and the green chili tasted great! The only downside to our time here was the constant vacuuming around the tables. It is great that they keep it clean but the vacuum sound was a bit much while trying to eat. Overall it was a delicious meal and wonderful experience.

Had dinner at this place the other night. Very diverse menu, with some unique items like the Salmon Enchiladas my wife had with a tasty unique white cheese sauce. I went for something classic like the house special 3 pork green chili burritos. I was surprised at how good they were, I had medium and wish I had tried them hot chili. We loved the special cocktails and the service was very attentive. Definitely stop in.

My absolute favorite restaurant of all time. Been coming here since I was a teenager and it was located off Jerry Murphy. Almost always get the stuffed sopapilla and a basket (or two) of all flour chips and salsa. The fried flour chips and salsa are the best chips and salsa I've ever eaten. The staff has always been amazing and are always friendly. Highly recommend!

First time coming here. No wait, good service, and the food was awesome. The green chili was amazing, haven't had anything like it since moving from New Mexico. The kids meal was also plenty of food which is nice. I had the horchata milkshake and it was so good! The atmosphere was a little dark and dreary but other than that it was nice.

Just a quickie note to add to my original review here. I've now been there twice, I ordered the same thing both times and it was even better the second time! Giant burrito; with chicken, half and half spicy sauce and just get everything on it. I'm a big guy & like a full meal, but I took half home each time and it tasted even better reheated! Try it!

We stayed in Pueblo overnight after a long road trip. This place hit the spot! The green chili was a hit with my hubby and the chicken and cream cheese enchiladas were amazing! I had a margaritas flight which was very enjoyable.

We've been here several times and have not had any major issues with food or service. The wait for food can be a little longer sometimes with a larger volume of people but it is worth it. The dining room makes you feel like you're at home in someone's house getting a fresh home cooked meal, it is very cozy. I'd recommend it for sure.

The food was absolutely delicious.
The drinks were definitely made very well.
The service was top notch and very good.
The only thing I didn't like was the price for 2 people. I would definitely go again though.

Our waitress was super busy but still kept very good care of us. I had a key lime pie margarita that was refreshing and the Chile Rellenos were perfectly cooked. They still had a crunch to them. I definitely recommend this place. It was delicious!

My 3rd time eating here and it's been 8 yrs since I last ate at CF. Have to say, it was very good. Portion sizes were huge.

I had a tamale and I'm leary bc every establishment always says theirs is the best. Well CF was very tasty. Food was piping hot and that I loved.

I would say definitely try CF out and enjoy!!

I eat gluten-free, which is hard to find something to eat in restaurants. I usually get taco and tostada. I got the nachos this time. There was so much food I had to take 1/2 home with me. I heated it up in the toaster oven the next day, and it was as good as it was at the restaurant.

It is a popular award winning restaurant, so we had to wait a few minutes at lunchtime. They have seating at the bar if you don't want to wait for a table. My wife had the savory stuffed sopapilla and I had the cactus combo plate #7. Both were big portions, served piping hot, and delicious. Service was quick and attentive. Right now they have a special Lavender Margarita that is terrific!

This is our go-to when traveling through the area. It is a convenient right off the highway and the food and service is always good. I have tried several different plates and have never been disappointed.

Delicious margaritas for a Saturday morning! I also had some tacos (sorry it's been a few daze so I don't remember the menu item) that were a really good flavor. The rice however was hard. The beans were pretty good. The service was very good, prompt, and friendly.

This place is legit! First off, go early! This place is popular and was crowded. We went on a Friday at 5p, but our wait time was less than 10 mins to be seated. As we waited we noticed how CLEAN everything was. The ceiling vents, the fans, the decorations on the walls... Clean, clean, clean! This is ALWAYS a good sign!
Our server Claudia was ahh-mazing. Pleasant, knowledgeable, and super helpful. I asked for suggestions and she gave me three options. I took her up on one of the combos and it did not disappoint. She knows the menu.
The drinks (a lavender martini and strawberry margarita) were so good and potent. The chips were fresh, the salsa was good too (mild if that's your jam). However, the salsa, I believe, was made with oregano? I'm guessing here, but once it was pointed out, suddenly all I could taste was marinara sauce. Ahahaha.
I ordered the pork guacamole burrito/chicken taco combo with red chili sauce. The food was hot, flavorful, and delicious. The taco was crispy, the chicken moist and cooked well. The portions were large and worth the money. If you're in the area and need some legit Mexican food, this is the place.
PS... One criticism, check the Green Plate (?) My wife is vegetarian and we did not see any mention of meat in the description on the menu. However, when we got the dish, there was pork under (or mixed in) the rice.
Otherwise, we loved our dining experience.

Best Mexican Restaurant in Pueblo or Pueblo West!! The food is always good & as is the service. A great variety of food & drinks. A favorite to place to take company enjoy the hostility & cute atmosphere. Large restaurant can accommodate large groups & they take reservations.

Best slopper in Town.. Great fries and green chilli. Went and tried something new. Got the combo # 8. Wow good stuff. Say yes to all options lettuce and tomatoes complete the meal. Still have not had a bad meal at the cactus flower. Good iced tea no sugar needed. You can put in a reservation before arrival. May want to if more then 2 in party. Had to wait 10 minutes on a Saturday during dinner rush, so service is pretty quick.

Very busy the night we went. A large party came in as well. We had no reservation. So. A bit of a wait on the food. HOWEVER the food was very good! Try the Cactus Flower burrito! Beer & mixed drinks are available 😋. We will go back.

Cactus Flower has some of the best mexican food hands down in Pueblo! Their fajitas, pork carnitas and fried flower tacos are to die for! Their green chile is beyond amazing and has the best flavor! Huge shout out to Rae, Amanda and Tara, these girls all give the BEST service and always have a smile!
