Holiday Inn Express & Suites Vernal - Dinosaurland, an IHG Hotel

After considering the feedback provided by other reviewers, we requested a room at the back of the hotel. This choice proved to be an excellent decision, we kept the AC running and the noise levels were minimal, allowing us to enjoy our stay. The first impression we had upon entering the hotel was the cleanliness. The gym and pool areas were all up and running and I was able to take advantage of them.

We did encounter a hiccup, but our issue was alleviated when JR, Riley, and the housekeeping team went above and beyond to assist us, their diligence was much appreciated.
What truly stood out during our stay was the exemplary behavior of the entire staff. Every member of the team, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff, was not only friendly but also genuinely helpful.
It wasn't until we were nearly back home that we realized a very personal ring was missing that we thought we had inadvertently left behind. In a moment of desperation, we reached out to the hotel staff, hoping beyond hope that the ring might be found. We were so happy when, just the day after our call, we received a follow-up confirming that our ring had indeed been found. This level of commitment and dedication truly solidified our trust and appreciation for the hotel and its staff in locating the lost item.
In light of this extraordinary experience, we would gladly return to this hotel in the future. The combination of a well-appointed room, pleasant environment, cleanliness, and, most importantly, the incredibly supportive and caring staff make it an easy choice for our next stay. This hotel managed to turn what could have been a stressful situation into a heartwarming and memorable story of exceptional service.

We loved our stay everything was clean I didn't like that we could only see the front back side entry roof and the cars that dropped off people. Yes we did get the room a bit cheaper because we are seniors and the room above us had kids running around. But we were only there in the evening so it wasnt a big deal.
It was big clean and the service was nice. We might stay here again or try another hotel just to compare.

We were actually quite impressed with the quality and the cleanliness of the room and the stay we had here. We arrived on a Sunday and checked out on Wednesday. Each day we really enjoyed our stay there we couldn't be more grateful for the friendliness and the cleanliness of this location. I would definitely recommend to anyone this place and we thoroughly enjoyed it enough to come back again! The staff was amazingly friendly and very helpful with everything that we needed. Thank you guys for everything!

Shower basin felt loose, squeaked. and had mold on some of the caulk. I suspect some remediation is in order. The rest of the room was pretty good though. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was sublime. They had a pool too but I didn't get to use it.

A very pleasant stay here at the Holiday inn. It was great from beginning to end. The staff was friendly upon check in. The pool and hot tub were great. The room had everything I needed and there weren't any issues. Breakfast was great and everything was smooth. I always enjoy Holiday inn, this was no exception.

Surprisingly good. Place was new and clean and we'll kept. Breakfast was so diverse and even had healthier options like an egg white omelette, sugar free syrup, and Greek yogurt. Pool and hot tub were fine although seemed poorly kept. The gym had no only 4 cardio machines and no weight equipment.

This place was extremely clean, when I say clean I mean even the grout in the elevator. The staff was extremely helpful. The gave directions and looked things up for us when we were in need. My brother broken down while visiting me there, he got a room too and was extremely impressed with it. The bed was comfortable and clean. My baby slept well and was not woken up by random door slams or loud neighbor like at other places. The hotel manager was extremely accommodating and could be seen checking in on how breakfast was going for guests. I would recommend this place to ANYONE in search of a clean, affordable, need of a good experience when it comes to a hotel.

It's their off season right now, so the only thing that can really set you apart to choose them, and return is to have impactful customer service. Every aspect of friendliness made them excel and be far beyond my expectations as a customer. The rooms are very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed the indoor hot tub and pool too.

Good location to access Dinosaur national Monument. Two types of meat on the breakfast bar with cheese omelets work great for keto. Coffee was not great and the k-cups in the room were meh, but I bring my own k-cups knowing that Holiday Inns seem to have adopted Keurig coffee machines.

Easy to find, as it is right off the main road. Swimming pool is small but there is a hot tub also. Excersize room has a couple cardio machines, Good breakfast in the mornings.

This Express is well maintained and the employees obviously take pride in their customer service. The “only” critique is the cleaners use some sort of a fragrance spray and it is a little strong. It’s probably just me. Regardless… I would definitely stay here again

One of the nicer/cleaner hotels in town. Offers breakfast, a guest laundry room and bathroom off the lobby. Pool, hottub, and workout equipment available to guests. Close to most in town activities.

Clean HI, 4 exercise machines in the fitness center, indoor pool, good breakfast bar. Road had lots of truck traffic at night so ask for a room on the other side. Parking lot is one way so enter from main road, exit on side street👍

Clean rooms, polite staff. Breakfast was ok. Good location, middle of town.

Very spacious rooms with nice comfortable beds. Good TV selection and I really enjoyed this day! I would highly recommend this room for those who are staying in town, great value for your money as well.

This place exceeded my expectations! The staff was so friendly, the free breakfast was outstanding and the checkout process was a breeze. I was pleasantly surprised and will stay here next time I'm in town.

The Holiday inn Express was a wonderful place to stay. Conveniently located near Dinosaur National Park. Clean rooms with very friendly staff. I love the beds at Holiday inn; so comfortable. Breakfast was free and delicious.

Excellent location - and even with COVID they figured out how to do breakfast. Something that we greatly appreciate since we have been on the road. The staff was very friendly and helpful - the beds were comfortable the the rooms were clean. Definitely will stay at again.
