Dinosaur Inn

Perfect price and quality ! We stayed at many places, also motel-like-style, during our 3 week west coast trip and this one was the best in that type of accomodation. Clean and big room, big quality breakfast. Keep up the good work !

This motel is excellent. The room is very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is extremely nice. Breakfast is ordered and served, and the breakfast area is comfortable. I spent half the week at the Comfort Inn, but I wish I had of booked a week at The Dinosaur Inn instead. I highly recommend it!

We just wanted to say thank you to all the staff for making our short visit perfect, easy to reserve and checkin, tool was spotless and fresh clean towels and bedding, breakfast was great, even the morning gravy for the biscuits, and those fresh cinnamon rolls! OMG! Plus the fact that it was pet friendly secured the stay! Thank you again, I highly recommend staying here!!

Amazing! Spacious, clean rooms, unique area, perfect breakfast and service by Cheri. Traveled with our three kids and all enjoyed the experience.

What a great find here in Vernal! Cameron, the front desk attendant was incredibly gracious and informative on the amenities of the motel. Bed was comfortable, room was spacious, we felt safe and loved being able to park right outside of our room. Thank you!

Wonderful hotel! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and cleanliness of the rooms. Breakfast was great as well. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Vernal, Utah.

Rooms were clean and comfortable but the air freshener was so strong we had to open the doors and windows for an hour before we could tolerate it. The breakfast was very good (the cinnamon rolls were fresh and warm) and the sweet lady that was serving made our day!

We had a fantastic stay at the Dinosaur Inn! They gave my children tiny little dinosaur figurines at check-in, so they were convinced right away that this was the best hotel ever 😀 The room was clean and spacious. The whole property was very well cared for. The breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh cinnamon rolls. I’m so glad we stayed here instead of one of the chain hotels. I told my husband that all of our vacations need to involve the Dinosaur Inn (although we live many states away!) Thank you for a lovely stay!

Stayed for 3 days on a trail mapping adventure. Nicest local independent hotel I've ever stayed at. Room was large, clean, very comfortable bed & 4 pillows. Large shower, double sinks, fridge, comfy couch and desk with great chair. Very quiet. Cleaning crew were very nice & helpful.
Upon check in the clerk moved me to a ground level room so I could park my motorcycle outside my room.
Great hotel, close to good restaurants & brews.

We stopped for the night and swam in the pool. The pool is great for kids as most of it is 3ft deep and then goes to 7ft. So easy for kids to get in and out. Pool towels are provided. Rooms were very big and clean. There is no need to go out for breakfast as they offered anything you would want. Make your own waffles, breakfast burritos, eggs, sausage, biscuits. Owners and their kids are there on the property and we’re very nice.

For dinner, stop by next door for great pizza!

This really was a step up from the other hotel/motel type places we stayed in on our road trip in a similar process bracket. It was at the pricier end of what we were paying, but not by much and if you know you are getting something extra and not just shelling out more bucks, it's worth it. Here the extra was a great sized room, clean and with carpets and furniture in good condition, nice facilities and friendly service. Breakfast looked good but didn't actually have it!

Checkout - fast and cheerful. Even asked how was our stay and if we enjoyed our breakfast.

We've stayed here before and we love the Dinosaur Inn. We made a late reservation while driving home from CO. All they had available was a suite. It was wonderful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The walk in shower was fantastic. Whether you're passing through or if Vernal is your destination the Dinosaur Inn is worth it.

We stayed here on 9/13 and 9/14 2023 in one of the king suites with our room sharing a wall with the breakfast room.
It was a nice and relaxing place to come "home" after a day of running around.
The room was plenty big and we found it very comfortable after moving the couch and end table so that they were facing the TV. There was the word "Welcome" written into the spare blanket at the end of the bed. It was done by someone dragging their fingers along the plush fabric of the blanket. It was a really cute touch that I have never seen anywhere else.
The only possible negative was that the shower door swung both ways. Which I did not know and almost tipped out of the shower. LOL
Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the people were great. We highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again.

I would actually give this 10 stars. Really friendly staff. Rooms are very nice and clean. You can tell the owners take pride in their business and the breakfast is top notch. Will definitely be staying again if in the area. A+++

Great place to stay in Vernal. Nice rooms & bathroom. Good location, nice breakfast, and most comfy pillows we’ve ever had at a hotel! Felt safe and lots of parking. Staff was helpful and very friendly. All in all, a great spot.

Excellent inn, amazing staff that literally saved a trip for me! Rooms are super clean and comfortable. Will definitely be booking here again on my return trip!

ETA- just had their Breakfast and it was absolutely amazing. Tons of options and the guys working the dining area were so kind and personable.

An absolute gem of a place to call home for a few nights when you are in Vernal!

Dog friendly, but only a few dog friendly rooms so call in advance to secure. This place is so much nicer than it looks in pictures. Charming lobby, spacious rooms, nice breakfast. Central to all the places you might want to visit in Vernal area. Nice, relaxing pool area too. Library and park right next door, really fun area with food trucks etc. Loved this place, would recommend and would return.
