Horizon Hotel

Unfortunately the pool and hot tub were broke for our stay this time,
Jessie worked his butt off and got the got tub fixed before our departure date!

Lorie of course is always cleaning something, our daughter just loved when she was at work (even on her days off)
they really make you feel comfortable there.

Kayla is very prompt and helpful with anything you need for your room.

We will definitely stay here when we are in Vernal.

Horizon Hotel is a great place to stay! Especially for those Temporary workers in the area. They have a great weekly rate, because we all know how expensive living on the road can be. They have a decent continental breakfast, where if your out the door before 6, you can still snag something quick along with a cup of joe to head out to the right of way. But what has kept me coming back time and time again is the amazing service from the employees. After a long day, working in the elements, walking in to see Lori’s smiling face , and her charming demeanor gives the Horizon Hotel its Hospitable feel that makes it a delightful home away from home. I will most certainly continue to stay at the Horizon Hotel any time I’m in the Vernal area!

This motel was full of wonderfully cute little surprises! Loved the candy kiss and fall leaves tucked in towels left by the housekeeper; also the free ice cream given at check-in and the breakfast. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and seemed to truly care about us weary travelers. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the conveniences needed! The hot tub heater was out (in which they let us know a new heater was ordered), but the pool was clean and warm!!! At first arrival the facade of the motel doesn't present itself as 5 stars (just a little run down in appearance), but everything that exists when you walk through the doors was 5 stars easily...especially for the price.

Great service, pet friendly, staff is great, we had a housekeeper named Kayla that was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure the room was good and we had everything we needed for the stay. She even brought use extra towels since the little one pretty much wanted to live in the pool.

Great staff; our desk attendant really went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Pet friendly with good rooms at a fair price. There is some room work needing to be done but you can see all the efforts to improve this hotel. Free breakfast. Hotel is located in good place in Vernal.

What a wonderful place. We have stayed in lots of hotels, but the staff at Horizon is the tops. They are so friendly and hospitable. Welcome you with a smile every time you come in or leave. The rooms are comfortable and relaxing. The indoor swimming pool is wonderful. My kids loved it as I enjoyed the hot tube. Will definitely come back.

This is an older hotel that has been rebranded. The room was clean. The staff are great. The pool is super warm and has hot tub. Great price.
One thing I would add to the experience is in the breakfast bar there needs to be more then 1 Pod style coffee maker.

There was excellent customer service from front desk to the house keepers. The places was immaculate and there's were positives vibes the whole time I was there. It was my first time in Utah and everybody was so friendly and one of the house keepers I believe her name was Kayla helped me figure out what to do in the area and was just over all a big help and so so sweet. If we end up back in town it's no question where we will be staying.

This former Super 8 Motel was recently purchased by an American family who is obviously working very hard to provide excellent service, with clean, affordable rooms and plenty of amenities. They even offer free ice cream at check-in! Staff is efficient and friendly, and our room (#111) was very clean and comfortable. Larger fridge was appreciated, as was being dog-friendly. Plush, resort-quality towels, too. Breakfast is the standard fare with waffles, eggs, cereal, juices, muffins, pastries, and Keurig coffee being offered--nicely done for an economy motel. They still have lots to do by way of landscaping and some minor repairs, and the old sign is still up. But Horizon Motel was a wonderful find, and we and our dogs slept great!

Room was clean however we did not receive room service after the first night. So we had to remake our own beds an go get new shower towels. The guest service was friendly and accommodating tho.

Was very nice American family owed. Man that checked us in wasn’t a real people person. Needs to have meat at breakfast. Offered free ice cream when checking in on board out front but was 11:00 pm but was never offered any for our 2 day stay. Was clean and nice indoor pool.

100 percent, they go above and beyond in service. The best part of staying in horizon is the staff and hospitality. It is clear from check in to check out that they do everything they can to ensure you have a good stay. While not perfect, it is value priced, the remodel is good, hotel upkeep is outstanding, kids liked the pool too. All guests were friendly too. A+

The room was clean and furnished with table, chairs, microwave and small fridge. The bathroom was also clean. The attendants were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the free breakfast that included fresh fruit (apples, tangerines and bananas). The only negative was the entrance. We missed it at first because you needed to enter at the business to the East instead of directly in front or to the side of the motel

I stayed over on a bike trip through Utah. I was surprised at the price and amount of amenities the room offered. Room was also clean, comfortable and had some nice welcoming touches.
I met the owners who were very friendly and personable. Why support the big hotel chains when you can stay at a local family owned hotel for a better price with more or the same room amenities. I was very happy with my stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again or for a longer duration.

We had a lovely stay here for one night, the reception desk attendant was so lovely and caring. We were provided with extra towels quickly and the beds and pillows were comfy. Would recommend staying here if you are passing through Vernal!

It was all good. Decent minimal breakfast, clean. Nice pool, nice folks. Average size rooms, clean. Quiet, a canal on one side keeps noise to a minimum. Plenty of parking. No problems

Lori is wonderful at the front desk , she makes you feel at home,
(She does not only work the front desk she busts her butt cleaning/laundry/keeping up with the place too!
The heated pool felt amazing as well!
So many perks, clean place, washer and dryer only a buck 50 for guests
Can't beat the weekly tater here either.

Would 100% stay here again. They are under a bit of renovation but lemme tell ya, they have top notch staff and service!! Clean, has nice lil pool. Great breakfast options in the morning. Best part was the friendly, accommodating people!

A great stop over driving from Salt Lake to Denver! Great price, clean rooms, friendly staff, and quiet. Between all of this, the interesting other guests and great breakfast, I’d recommend anytime. It was more than I expected!

This was a 5 Star motel at budget prices. The service was excellent, the staff friendly and welcoming, the room clean and nicely decorated and the breakfast bar was extensive and we'll stocked.

I would recommend staying at the Super 8 (Horizon Hotel) if staying overnight in Vernal.
