Plaza Mexicana

Plaza Mexicana is my favorite restaurant in the basin! The food, drinks waitstaff and atmosphere are always amazing!

Really good service, very friendly staff. All of the food we tried was good. And they may have the best Salsa I've ever had at a restaurant. Definitely recommend.

The service was great! We sat down and received salsa and this delicious cabbage creation that was just amazing. We orders and got our food pretty quickly and again it was just delicious, our server even brought out more of the cabbage stuff and gave me the recipe. I think I may have found my new favorite Mexican restaurant. We will definitely be going back again!

I was skeptical about eating in this place as we were told it was good but not sure if it served actual Mexican food. The prices are a bit higher from what I'm used to back in my hometown but the food is worth the price! I ordered the carnitas plate and they tasted as good as the ones I've eaten in Mexico. The plate was well served with tortillas, beans and rice. My husband ordered the steak plate and also said it was delicious. I also got a mango Margarita which was more than delicious and a Cantarito that was huge. The service was really good and the 2 ladies that attended us were really nice. Would definitely eat here anytime I'm back in Vernal.

Music was so nice and It is family owned. The atmosphere was genuine and happy. The food is delicious and full of flavor.

For a small town, excellent food, excellent service and great ambiance! Very surprising and wonderful little restaurant, tucked in between other businesses, you might miss it if you’re not paying attention.
I parked in a large parking lot behind and walked a block or so, free parking and along a beautiful flower lined Main Street.
Very accommodating employees, fun decor, fast service and incredibly HUGE plates FULL of food that was very tasty and fresh! Even serving Mole!
Affordable for the quantity and quality of food.
I’ll definitely return on my next visit to Vernal!

Fantastic food, decor and service. Not many places season their shredded chicken just right. It makes for a fabulous smothered burrito. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The food is fresh and delicious. I wish my stomach was bigger so that I could eat more. The staff are friendly and I love the atmosphere. Always enjoy going there for a date night. Yes it's spendy but you get that worth in the food and mixed drinks.

We stopped in to grab the kids some rice and beans and a quesadilla. Everything was very good and the chips were fresh! The food coming out while we were waiting looked delicious. Cute dinosaur outside the restaurant as well 🙂

The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. Customer service is amazing. Food is great with big portions. It really makes you feel like you are experiencing the culture. The workers make you feel like you are always welcomed. I give this place a 10/10😍

So much food! Plus it was all delicious. It's not really a plate of food it is a saucer of food. And no one at our table was disappointed with the taste it was delicious.

Everything we ordered was delicious! Guacamole Dip made with large chunks of avocado. Steak Acapulco was definitely enough for 2 and possibly for 3! Cheesecake! Our servers were top notch.

Average Mexican food enjoyed the fried eggs on top of the enchiladas.

This is fantastic Mexican food for the area. You won’t find any better for a tradition sit-down style Mexican joint. It’s a fun experience and the food is amazing. The staff is friendly, and the portions are very large, so you can always share. It’s a quaint place that I would certainly return to!

They are so friendly here and the food is very good with sizable portions. We had the molcajete which was humongous and so flavorful.

Always love the food and atmosphere here! They have a cabbage and jalapeno mix that is served with the salsa and it is AMAZING! My favorites are the molé enchiladas and crispy Chile Rellenos! Sooo yummy!!!

Best authentic Mexican food in town! Great atmosphere, friendly staff enormous plates! If you leave hungry , well you won’t lol!!!
