I stayed here for 6 months while I was in the area for work. I really enjoyed my stay. It is a well-kept RV park, and Blake, the owner, is an extremely nice and helpful person. Every time he sees you, he will stop and chat for a moment. I highly recommend this park

We loved our stay at this RV park! The owner is the nicest RV park owner we've ever met. He was super friendly and helpful, giving us tips on local attractions, interacting with our kids, and treating us with kindness and respect. The park is beautiful and well maintained, with large mature trees and green grass throughout. Large gravel sites that are mostly level to accommodate bigger rigs. Located right in the middle of town, but still felt secluded and quiet. Because it's in town, grocery stores and restaurants are short walk away. Thanks for the great stay! We will be back to this one.

Our recent stopover at Fossil Valley RV Park in Vernal, Utah was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The care and attention to maintenance of this family-owned park was immediately evident upon our arrival, making us feel confident that our stay would be comfortable.

The RV park host greeted us with genuine warmth and friendliness, setting a positive tone for our visit. We appreciated this personal touch, which made us feel welcomed and valued as guests.

Our allocated site was a delight with its shade-providing trees and grassy area, allowing us to spend quality time outside the RV, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The setting was ideal for a leisurely stay, adding a homely feel to our RV experience.

Interestingly, it became obvious to us that Fossil Valley RV Park is not just a place for passing travelers like us, but a favorite spot for many who come to stay for extended periods. This observation speaks volumes about the quality and appeal of the park and its services.

In conclusion, our short stay at Fossil Valley RV Park was marked by its friendly service, well-maintained sites, and inviting environment. Whether you're passing through Vernal, Utah, or seeking a longer, tranquil retreat, I'd highly recommend considering Fossil Valley RV Park. We stayed 4 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. The owners are very knowledgeable about sightseeing, dining and special events in the area. The park is very shady and clean. Blake is the most accommodating host we have ever met!

Had a last min change of travel plans and needed somewhere to stay. Called at 9pm and a kind gentleman answered (hooray)! and helped us even though the office was closed. He got our information and told us to find a site that was open and “make ourselves comfortable.” Felt instantly welcomed and after a stressful evening prior to arriving in vernal the kindness of the gentleman that answered our call was extremely comforting. We are grateful to stay here especially so incredibly last second.

They took us in and treated us like family. Very flexible and very kind and polite.
Seen several families with kids here, with the soccer field out back gate. Lots are shady and you have nice grass lots. Would recommend this place to anyone no matter the size of your Unit (truck, trailers even Motorcoach's pulling trailers here.

The hospitality of the host alone deserves a 5-star rating! The shaded trees and ability to still use our Starlink is a bonus. Easy access to many businesses in town. The school next door makes dog walks more pleasant. Great value!

Great location, clean and front desk is super friendly and helpful. Beautiful mature trees provide great shade. Good WiFi if you can connect to 5ghz, the 2.4 signal is super slow. Showers chat .25 per 1.5 minutes which is an interesting offering. Would stay here again.

Father and Son owned we stayed for a month for work. The son passionate about the beauty of the area and good vibes. Daddy'o is sweet too. The trees are gorgeous a kept well enough that during a pretty serious wind some minimal branches fell all was promptly raked up. Location is great for the surrounding sights, Petroglyphs, Fantasy Canyon, Dinosaur Monument, Moonshine Arch, etc. LOTS to explore around. Best place we ate in town was definitely Anita's Restaurant Pizza *somethung like that - crazy good salads and desserts there aside from their next level pizzas- talk about flavor. All in all loved the stay and area highly recommend.

Central to vernal great access to everything. Sites are large, most have green grass and all of them are shaded with enormous shade trees making it much cooler than the city. Owner is an awesome ambassador for the area attractions and super helpful. Some residents but their areas are kept very clean. Good cell sign on mint mobile and excellent wifi. Would stay again.

Great little campground. Plenty of room with lots of shade. Host is super friendly. Love the soccer field as as dog exercise area and it seemed everyone respected the fact we could use it and kept it cleaned up. I would definitely stay here again.

July 2022 - enjoyed it last time so we came back for 2 weeks. Yes, there is some noise from the road but IMO tolerable. The advantages of the park and town outweigh the noise drawback.
July 2020 - Pleasantly surprised what a nice little campground this is. It has plenty of large shade trees and being from a southwestern climate we were thrilled to see all the shade. Park staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay if you're here for Dinosaur National Monument or the lakes not far away. Although it is on a busy street it is tucked back a little ways from the street and is pretty quiet. I'm sure the trees help with that. The back of the campground also backs up to a very large grassy field which helps with the sound. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great little RV park in the middle of Vernal. Best shade trees of any RV park we have been to! Our spot was very level and we got a strong WiFi connection with great speeds.
Blake, the host, seemed to almost always be on site day and night was not only super friendly but also extremely helpful in pointing out all of the best local attractions and gave us some personalized maps with great directions and notes.
The bathrooms were always clean. They do charge for showers. Laundry facilities are on-site however we didn't use them.
I highly recommend Betty's Cafe for breakfast just down the road.
The RV park alone was great but Blake made it even better.

Absolutely wonderful host!!! The owner was super friendly and came out to greet us as soon as we pulled up. He was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay at the park. The showers/bathrooms were spotless, as was the laundry area. This RV park made it super easy to make ourselves at home in Vernal while we discovered the Dinosaur quarry and other surrounding attractions. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend this place!

We moved from Salt lake to the vernal area the beginning of July. We were still waiting to find and close on our home, so we were there for 5 weeks. Staying here was a wonderful experience, the host was amazing, friendly, and would give us ideas and things to do while we were waiting. Showers are clean, campground was clean, and very well kept. We will recommend this place to everyone we know coming out to the area.
Me, my husband and our 3 fur babies really enjoyed our temporary home.

Great stay we even extended to two more days. What made the stay amazing though is management super nice guy took the time to share some great local spots to visit. The park is nicely shaded and great field in the back for kids/pets to play. Shower pressure was amazing and cheap laundry.
