I have been working on cars for a long time and I run an auto shop. I have found Wood Auto to be some of the most honest guys I have ever worked with and they try really hard to make everyone happy that comes through their doors. I am writing this because I am sure my shop will be getting a review from Mrs. Weimer soon, and based on the experience my shop had with her I can guarantee what she is saying about Wood Auto is only true in her version of the made up story. When she first came in with her car, we hadn't even looked at it yet and she said to us "I know you are going to try and take advantage of me because I am a woman, but I do know a lot about cars." I should have told her right then that we weren't going to be able to help her. After we checked out her little Cooper, during the conversation, 3 times she told me that just because she was a woman didn't mean she didn't understand what I was saying. I didn't feel like I was explaining anything differently to her than I would to any one else, man or woman. The car was fixed when it left but she was not pleased with our service and no matter what we tried to do to resolve the situation she was not happy. She stormed out after I said there was nothing more I was willing to do, she just wanted the job for free. I should have turned her away when she first opened her mouth. Beware shop owners, she is out there, no matter what you do you will not please her.

Woods Auto will always be fair and up front with you. Aaron is very experienced and can tell you what to expect. I trust him to know what he's doing and to be honest.

After working in the parts industry for two years Wood Auto is definitely my favorite mechanic shop. I highly recommend them.

Had a broken tensioner pulley and alternator problems in my Jeep Wrangler and the mechanic did a professional job of fixing it, testing my alternator and scanning for codes all in a short amount of time.

He's does excellent work gets it done in reasonable amount of time. A little pricy

Car broke down in Vernal and they fixed it up quickly when nobody else could.

I am traveling...just passing thru the area...& I called around 3pm because my car was nearly overheating & i wanted to pull in with the engine hot so they could see for themselves where the steam was coming from ...it was hissing...they could quickly "eyeball" it & know what needed fixing ..even if it needed to wait until tomorrow to get the repair done ..the guy on ☎ was not very friendly ...& refused to even take time away from his "money-paying customers" to look at it for 5 minutes.

I wasn't asking for charity... I pay my bills.. I'm not pushing my car across the USA 🇺🇸. I wasn't asking for a complicated diagnosis ..

I hung up & kept calling around & finally reached a place called Craig's Pitstop ..the gal invited me to drop in & i made it there with 2 stops to keep it from totally overheating (ie in the red) ...much farther from woods auto ..& they immediately eyeballed it & immediately knew what it needed & they immediately started work on it ... The gal said they try to accommodate travelers even though they obviously had more than enough work to do...very KIND of them 👍 & fair price . maybe i actually got lucky that woods refused to look at it.

Wood Auto told me that my car would run best and last longer if I put in the top of the line, most expensive products on the market. I trusted them and agreed. Big mistake! It has been 4 months since the replacement and it broke. I was told by another mechanic that they did not instal the part I purchased, but an old, used piece of garbage. Wood Auto also told me I was going to to need a brand new engine even though another mechanic told me all that I needed done was to have my spark plugs replaced. I wish I never would have gone to Wood Auto. Most dishonest and disrespectful mechanic I have EVER been to.

Worst auto repair spot in Vernal. We have had to pay over $550 to get a starter and ignition replaced. They ordered wrong parts 3 times and charging us!. We have been stranded in Vernal since Easter. Don't waste your time or 💰 money.I don't think it deserves any stars.
