Family Barber Shop, LLC

This is a good ol' fashioned barbershop experience! Jayse is the owner and sole barber here, and she runs a tight ship! The place is always clean and stocked with complimentary beverages for your enjoyment while you await your turn in her chair. Once in the chair, you will not be disappointed. She asks all the right questions to find out what you would like done, listens carefully to your responses, and executes flawlessly! Her prices are also quite reasonable, and the only way you're going to beat them is by going out to the Mountain Home Air Force Base, and there is a noticeable drop in quality of the cut and the experience as a whole.

Our family were visiting from out of state and my son and I were in need of a trim. Jayse was phenomenal and super nice. The shop was clean and classy. The only bad thing is the fact we live 1200 miles away. If we were local, she would be our family barber 100%.

We went in as a walk in. About 5 people in front of us. We waited for about an hour and a half. She took her time with every client and no one felt rushed. She had complimentary sodas, soft seats and TVs. It was very clean and comfortable. When it was our turn she listened to what we wanted and did a fantastic job on my 11 year olds hair and was very nice. I was so impressed with how meticulous she was despite having been on her feet for hours with no break in between clients and 3 more people behind us she never rushed anyone. We will be back.

What a nice place. A way to get back to a more family friendly place. Amazing attentive service. So love the hot towel on the back of my neck after.

Jayce is Amazing. She is so patient and thoughtful with both my boys. 12yr old and 5yr old, she won't do anything with out asking them which makes my boys trust her. They WILL NOT go to another barber not even with bribery I have tried. 🤣😅 mostly just to see how much they like going to Jayce. Let me put it this way my "crazy" 5yr old waited almost 2hrs just to have Jayce cut his hair. So yeah she is awesome. 😆

I always get the best hair cuts at this place, the barber always knows how to cut my hair, somehow remembers who I am most of the time I go there, and is good at communicating what the best cut would be. I think this is definitely the best place to go get your hair cut in mountain home.

I was short on time and decided to walk in for a quick cut. My barber, Jayse, was super fast and it was honestly one of the best haircuts I have gotten in a long time. Pricing was good too! If you are ever in town get a cut here, its worth the wait and they have excellent service!

Jayse always does a great job! I used to always go to her back when she was working on base, I'm so happy she has own place in town finally! She Even cuts my sons hair. Highly recommended!

This was my first barber shop I've ever gone to at first I was nervous but the barber I couldn't catch her name but she was nice and she did a really good job on me and my brother will visit again soon

She did an amazing job with my son. He kept still the whole time. Got my hair cut also and it turned out exactly how I like it. Zero on the side with a fade. Also made an appointment for a shave 11/29 and she did exceptionally well. The shave was great. Haven’t had a shave since I lived in Nampa . Definitely will tell my friends and family.
My kids and are definitely going to return and make her our new barber. Thank you for the great hair cuts and shave.

I have been to this barber shop 3 or 4 times now and I love it. I won’t go anywhere else for a hair cut/beard trim. The lady’s that run this place are not only very good at what they do, but they are very kind, funny, and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.
