Knights of Pythias Lodge Hall

A wonderful and unexpected surprise.

I had the honor of meeting Dan and being given a wonderful tour of the beautiful collection of antiques and African artifacts houses in the historical Pythias castle. He also shared stories of the collections fascinating history.

I also learned they run the Bee Tree Folk School from here, which is a great contribution to the community, and listed on Google as a business. It also has a website.

Because Bee Tree Folk School has their business information attached to it on Google I will leave a review and additional photos, taken with permission, there also.

This is one of those rare experiences to find in a small town and it's wonderful! I really enjoyed being able to look at the different exhibits they have. I wasn't expecting to find a museum and a cooking / baking classroom here. The owners are very kind people and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

A medieval styled lodge with a facade featuring hand cut stones quarried from nearby Sand Hollow. It was built in 1904 for the international fraternal, non-sectarian order of its namesake. Aside from boarded over stained glass windows, it's been well preserved by the Weiser Architectural Preservation Committee.

Sandy and Dan are absolutely welcoming and are always open to show off their amazing antiques.
