Los Gabanes Mexican Restaurant

We were ready for some Mexican food after being on the road for awhile and we definitely were not disappointed!

Our server was very nice and attentive and brought our drinks right away. We each ordered a margarita and they were great, served in super cute terra cotta cups.

The chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. The chips look house made and were nice and crisp and warm. We each ordered a combination plate intending to share but we both dove right in! The food is truly authentic! Having lived in Mexico and visited most areas, the food isn't all spiced up like here in America. True Mexican food lets the flavors of the food shine, not the spices. It was all delicious and authentic and we ate it all!!

Authentic and true south of the border meals. If you know real Mexican food, then I promise you that this hidden gem of a restaurant will not disappoint. Absolutely amazing! Best of the best! It is a real blessing to experience her cooking.

Take it from a Mexican, this is authentic Mexican food. Very well prepared home made food, you can tell. After visiting Yellowstone National Park from California, we where looking for some Mexican food. We decided to wait until Los Gabanes because of its reviews, and it didn’t disappoint. The sopes hand made, the gorditas también. The services was awesome and the price and portions where appropriate. Nos gusto mucho todo. Esperamos volver en nuestro siguiente viaje, y me preparan una salsa picosita. Don’t forget to try the Sopapillas for desert!

We stopped here after a grocery run on our way out to Yellowstone. What a find!! As a Texan I give this place 5/5 for some fine Mexican food. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. So glad we stumbled across this spot!

Food was good! Carne fries are delicious, margarita on the rocks comes in a terracotta cup super unique plus it tasted good! Located right in downtown Greybull, nice atmosphere inside and out. The owner is very sweet let me take some aloe Vera home for my son I am so very greatful!!! Thank you 😀

The staff is very friendly! I loved the food. The food is generous and delicious. Service was really fast. I would love to eat here again.

We picked up a load and parked across the street with our semi and seen this restaurant. It’s a Must stop! Food was great, I got the mini tacos they were so good. The fried cake was awesome! The service was nice!

Had lunch here today chimichanga and enchiladas. They were really great. Sparkling clean inside. Salsa had a great kick but tasty as well. Rice and beans usually a hohum add to a meal were special. My husband who usually tells them to just skip them ate his and started in on mine. Nice surprise in a ride from Thermopolis

Very nice people. Quality and fresh food. One of my very favorite places to eat. Often I want more than I can eat. Their chips and salsa are fabulous. I have not had anything I did not care for. They are doing take out to make it easy in these times.

Family Owned, Authentic, Mexican fare! Breakfast Lunch and Dinner served. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Food has been consistently great! The Pork Chimi or Pork smothered burrito are favorites of mine!

Met a group of friends for lunch..The complimentary chips and salsa were a great start...Golden fried tortillas and zesty salsa.
My friends enjoyed their Plates of Chicken Tacos, Beef Tacos, Cheese Enchiladas, and Smothered Burritos in Green Chili and Red chili...each plate comes with a side of rice and refried beans..
The food was Hot Fresh and Delicious....

Affordable, delicious Mexican food! Was pleasantly surprised by how busy the restaurant got after I ordered and was glad to see a small restaurant getting so much business in a small town. I recommend Los Gabanes if you are in Greybull, WY.

Very good staff, wonderful food! Authentic and fresh. Was in town 2 days and never ate anywhere else. Try their breakfast menu. They open early.

I'm a fan of Mexican breakfast, so I was glad to find Los Gabanes as my wife and I took a morning stroll through Greybull. I had terrific huevos rancheros and cleaned my plate! The chips weren't absolutely fresh, but they were still very tasty, and the salsa was delicious and had a good spice to it.

This is a family-owned restaurant and always provides good quality food. Their food is very affordable for the area and the chips and salsa are delicious! I have never had a bad meal here.
