Port Orford Visitor's Center

Pretty view of the ocean a good place to go to the bathroom wash your hands rest a minuite or so

If you are driving south, this is the beginning of the most spectacular stretch of the Oregon Coast extending all the way South to the California border. If you are heading North, this location marks the end of U.S. 101's tight hug fo the coast as it head inland out of ocean view.

Port Orford is a beautiful place to stop ans some in the beautiful of the Oregon Cost. Worth the adventure and drive.

The visitors center was closed when we stopped but we used the restrooms and binoculars and read the informational signs to the kids. It is a nice viewpoint and we learned quite a bit of history and more about the wildlife.

The views and trails are good. Battle Rock has a good historical story and it's a good resting spot. The Center is run by volunteers who are dedicated.

The Visitor Center is closed due to Covid. The view and walk to the beach is why we always stop. One of our favorite places.

excellent rest area, great view, and pretty good explanations of what is around you

Went in at the end of whale watching and was given history of the area as well as when we should come back to see whales.
