Shockingly good hot sauce selection and competitively priced.

Ray's is a good place to shop if you don't feel like driving an hour up north to Walmart. Their prices are high in comparison but they are very convenient when you live in a small town far away from the big stores. Employees are friendly and helpful and they do have a good selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, beef, chicken and pork. I thought about taking off one star because their prices are a little high but you are paying for convenience. Watch for sales and you may find a bargain or two. Happy Shopping at Ray's Food Store!

Bob is the best! Out side on the grill, super kind and friendly. I heard him call out to his local customers by name! I was so impressed watching him engage with his community members I almost forgot to make my own small talk. He was such a genuine person to meet and observe. Rest of the staff was great too. You could really feel the sense of community and pride. Very welcoming got way more than some vacay essentials.

LOVE this store. There is only one gruff guy who works there, who seems to hate life.
The guy didn't greet my son, didn't tell him the total of his items or even say thank you. Not one word spoken.

However, other than that dork, the rest of the employees are just lovely, a few of them very witty and friendly.
The guy outside who runs the bbq is hilarious. I wish I had caught his name. He is quick to greet every single person who walks up to the store.
We have twice rented a beach house in Port Orford over the past year, and we stock up on all of our food and beverages at Ray's.

I'm from the Seattle area, and didn't realize Ray's was a chain. I do like these types of smaller grocers as opposed to the big retailers.
Reminds me of when I worked for my parents when they owned Shop Rite stores. ❤

Staff was amazing and the store was a awesome.

Had everything I wanted except for a rotisserie chicken which were still cooking and wouldn't be done for another 20. But I'd still go back

I sent my eleven and nine year olds in to get some stuff at the deli and some water, while I waited in the car and there were zero issues. Food was good and not expensive.

Good customer service. I went there to look for an item and I couldn't find it. The clerk was so nice and she helped me find the isle. I wish i could remember her name, but she was very helpful. Thank you Ray's food place😁❤🤘

Well stocked market that serves the local and tourist population without inflating prices. Good selection of fresh produce and meats. Isles of essentials and a few gifts.

Great Service. Very friendly. Placed a big order for the Cape Blanco Music Festival and had to add to it last minute. They were very accommodating. We will be doing our shopping there again next year.

A very great experience I had a dog car a week or week ago but break yesterday and they went ahead and honored it and it changed me for a new one, without too much hassle I really appreciate that thank you to raise and it's manager terry in Port orford Oregon we appreciate you

Great local chain Unsurpassed variety. A little higher, as independents go, but again..They have everything. Nice local folks working there that can tell you where else to go for all other needs. Beautiful and clean store.

Small, as The Ray's Food Place stores of Oregon go, but with all departments. The only grocery store in town, yet it serves the smaller community, the first town/village to be be established on the southern Oregon coast because of the first rescue boat station on the coast, with all of it's immediate grocery needs with the prices, services and great personnel as found in all Ray Food Places! The excellent weekend bar-b-gue is the best I have had at any Ray's! The trip tip roasts and sandwiches along with the baby back ribs are "killer"! Showin' my age with that one!

TOTALLY OVERPRICED. IF TRAVELING PURCHASE FOOD ELSEWHERE. Over priced, understaffed. This store has been on a steady decline in service to its community for years. Bypass if possible. We shop here only because it's our only market. 27mi to better prices.

You must get the cheesy scalloped potatoes and directions !! Both were awesome !! These were some really friendly people and trucks can park on the street. So if you're stuck on the 101 .. break here.
