So many awesome rocks here. We literally laid in the rocks and looked for agates. They are not huge but we found a ton of good stuff. We are full time RVers that like to rockhound and this is one of the best agate collecting places we've ever been.

We love this beach. We can spend hours here beachcombing. Note that when it's really windy, prepare to literally be sandblasted. And the sand can get really hot to the touch on summer afternoons.

Actually Agate beach, and will always be one of my favorite day areas on the southern Oregon coast

One of my favorite parks. Easy walk from parking lot and picnic tables to the beach. Never crowded even in the summer. Great place to find agates.

Easy parking. Take the left Beach Access trail. Fairly easy 4 minute beautiful walk to the beach. The last 2 minutes are in deep sand. Gorgeous view, the beach goes on for miles. Trash can and portapottie on site. Camp hosts available.

Tseriadun State Park is a Port Orford jewel. Pebbled sand tucked between a frothy sea and Garrison Lake (hatchery placed rainbow trout in the spring). On a clear day, Cape Blanco flashes in the northern distance.

Nice, easy walk to the beach. Port'Opotty, and small access to Garrison Lake (through some shrubbery). The park hosts are nice. This is a great place to come fish for surf perch, or watch the waves crash off the sloped beach.

Had a wonderful afternoon agate hunting with the family on the beach. Not to crowded. Easy walk to the beach. Very windy and cold though. Look forward to coming here again.

This is one of my favorite places to capture photos, especially when the wind isn't blowing and the water is calm.

We enjoyed sitting on this very clean beach watching powerful waves! I'd love to come back after a few good rains to do some agate hunting.

NOT A GET IN THE WATER BEACH. It is a dangerous beach. But is also called agate beach because you can hunt for agate that has washed up. Also a very nice walk along beach.

Took the path that led to ocean's edge. I'm handicapped and could not get down to the beach, but was able to find a place to sit and watch the family explore.
