Butter

We were a large party of 11 that dined here for the first time. They gave us a private room in the back for our party. The food was delicious, service wonderful all combined with a nice atmosphere. A very nice enjoyable meal was had by all. Our server Molly was very patient and attentive to everyone’s needs and provided prompt service. Restaurant is conveniently located 15 minutes from the Mount Airy Casino Resort.

PS: Upon leaving we had a chance to meet and talk to the chef, an extra special touch to and very special night.

Butter is by far one of the most wonderful hidden gems found in the Poconos. Truly one of our favorite restaurants to visit during special occasions, because the the overall quality of the food and service are unmatched.

Tonight we had the baked feta, the portion is good for 2 or more people. The pork belly, which was cooked to perfection, crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The flavor was also marvelous. Lastly, the honey chipotle shrimp and grits. Which was amazing in both portion and flavor.

We are very grateful to have such an amazing establishment nearby. Thank you to the staff and chef for all of the beautiful experiences.

Amazing food and service in a great cozy chic atmosphere. Best restaurant in the Poconos. We had a great date night and will definitely go again.

Fantastic. Ambiance: 3 rooms (that I saw). An entrance with low light and welcoming music. A dining room with a bar. Another dining area in the back. Bathroom was clean. Service by Michael was pleasant, professional and friendly. He was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. Now for the food: I’ve been to many countries and have eaten in many, many places. The food served at butter was superb. Maybe even top 10 I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the sushi flat bread appetizer. Cocktails were great too. Not cheap, but worth every dime.

Honestly, this was one of the most wonderful dining experiences I've had. The restaurant and staff are true gems! The food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. They made us feel welcomed and completely comfortable. The owner, her son (the top-notch chef), and the bartender were all the best. I could have this incorrect but I believe the chef was formally at Le Bec Fin in NYC. Everything we ate and drank was amazing. I would have come back the next night with a group if we didn't already have plans. The restaurant is the first floor of The Frogtown Inn Bed & Breakfast. When I'm back in the Pocono area, this will be my first stop! ❤❤❤

Loved everything we ate. Beautifully decorated for Easter but I'm betting they make the place amazing for all holidays. Get the Veal chop. Service was excellent. Thanks for a great meal

Called in around 5 since everywhere was closed order the butter burger it (medium) my friend ordered the dalt burger medium well absolutely delicious, great staff good food very warm and intimate

A wonderful, cozy restaurant tucked inside of a bed & breakfast. The food was excellent. I got the burger and fries and the fries were possibly the best fries I have ever had—they were amazingly crispy on the outside while still remaining soft inside. Service was very good. It is a smaller place so I would recommend getting a reservation rather than trying to walk in.

It's definitely the best restaurant I have been to in the Poconos. I live in NY and it beats many of their restaurants.

Amazing meal for my husband’s birthday from start to finish! Definitely a new favorite spot if we are in the Poconos. Starting from even the seasoned bread was delicious! I got the Butter Burger which was the best mushroom burger I think I’ve ever eaten and the fries were perfectly crispy and soft. Probably the best cooked fries I have ever tasted. Not one soggy fry. My husband got the pork chops which had a delicious glaze. Then we finished it off with the chocolate torte topped with homemade coffee ice cream which was not too sweet and you could tell that ice cream was special. Loved every part of the meal and our server was delightful!

We were visiting the area and so pleased to discover this wonderful, new restaurant. From the wait staff to the owner, who came out to meet us, everyone was friendly and professional. The cocktails, appetizers and the main courses were all delicious. We will definitely come here again when we're in the area.

Best tuna tartare I've ever had! The food from start to finish was incredible and so was our waitress. So glad I discovered this gem while in town. Thank you Butter, I hope to be back!

This place was amazing start to finish. We came here for my parents anniversary, a party of 9, so they sat us in a private room in the back and decorated specifically for their anniversary, a very thoughtful touch. The owner came down and introduced herself and told us her story of Butter, it made our visit all the more special. The servers were knowledgeable, attentive, and prompt. We were never waiting for a beverage, the food came out all at the same time, hot, perfectly cooked, and just phenomenal flavors. That garlic bread to start was just amazing. This place is a one hour drive from where I live but its worth it, I will definitely come back. In our entire party only one person didn’t like their meal, claiming the veal was overcooked and TOO flavorful, but I had a bite and it was great so I’m ignoring his complaint.

So glad we found this little place in the middle of the northern Poconos. The food was really outstanding. The staff was even better. Next time we come up, will be sure to book a night in their B and B.

Where do I begin? The hospitality or the food? You are greeted by Ruth a bubbly graceful host that might as well be opening her home to you with her wonderful warm welcomes. We then ordered the Foie Gras slider (which was buttery smooth and topped with fresh mushrooms and micro greens made it a decadent and savory dish), and the Arrabiata pasta which tasted like my Italian grandma rolled herself came topped with a perfect fluffy dusting of cheese. Not to mention the delicious warm bread they served to start with which we needed second helpings of to wipe the pasta sauce up with. For our main course we ordered the special, the duck. It was perfection. The duck breast had crispy skin, succulent center and served with sweet delights (plums I believe on puréed sweet potatoes). Then dessert. In other words, heavenly spring fresh strawberries with nutty pralines on cloud like puff pastries. It was divine. We lapped up each entire dish to leave not so much as a crumb behind. After licking our plates clean Marc the chef appeared, appreciated us for dining with them when it was really us that were so full of joy from his cooking! Incredible talent and the company is truly memorable and obviously the meal! We have already told all our friends and family and we will DEFINITELY be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

We had such a great experience we went back twice in the same weekend! LOVE! LOVE! the decor! We found they change it up every month! Totally impressive. The food was AMAZING!!!! this is a definite Gem in this neighborhood!
