Saithong Para Thai

The food was amazing! We had the eggplant with tofu and the red curry with shrimp. The papaya salad was very spicy, just the way we like it. We recently were in Thailand and this place is as authentic as it gets. Service is slow because it is family owned and everything is freshly made. Have a beer and be patient. Oh, don't forget the mango sticky rice for dessert.

Little hole in the wall looking spot that we've passed many times without even noticing. A friend, who LOVES Thai food, was in town and we decided to try it!

Service was beyond excellent! The littlest minion was not a big fan. The owner brought out several different things (at NO charge) to include an amazing Thai tea for her to try.
I had the red curry at the owner recommendation. DELICIOUS!
Pad thai, pad se yu, drunken noodles, and wonton soup were all selections. Everyone enjoyed their food.
Note they have four spice levels. I had medium and that's about good for me!
We will be back for sure!

We stopped by this restaurant location after seeing a few reviews that were favorable in nature. The outside of the restaurant clean and the main entrance was clean also. This restaurant location is adjacent to the dollar store in the area. We ordered appetizers, drinks, and entrees. The server was really good and friendly. We both ate shrimp featured meals with spring rolls that were very tasty. There wasn't a line to get into the restaurant nor to get the food. The price of the meals were very reasonable for this area.

Excellent service, fantastic flavor. I would say this is probably one of the better Thai restaurants in the area. Excited to come back to try other items on the menu.

This is a great hole in the wall restaurant. We were there for dinner and had no issues. We found a seat when we walked in and were immediately greeted. The host/server was very friendly and kind, and brought our drinks and food in a very timely manner. The food was delicious.

Very good food, super friendly people are working there and it’s literally a hidden gem! I can highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy good Thai food.

Wow. That was delicious. Drunken noodles with shrimp. Service was personable, personal, helpful, and attentive. Food tastes amazing. I was just complaining about the fact that there are no good Chinese restaurants in this area (this place is Thai) and that the reviews of them reflect the fact that they are "Fredericksburg Good" and cannot hold their own against places closer to DC. That rule does not apply here. This place is great by any standards. I will definitely be back. Flavor was on point. My server told me that the chef has been cooking for 25 years. Yeah, that sounds about right based on what I experienced. Without a doubt the best 'Asian' restaurant in the Burg and beyond. What a hidden gem.

My family went for dinner. Three out of four of us had never been here before and were very impressed. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic! I highly recommend going for dinner.

Delicious Drunkin Noodle and Shrimp ginger sauce🫚 was delicious. Service was great 👍 and the owner and his family were amazing. Can't wait to try their new Thai Love 😍 restaurant coming to Fredericksburg VA.

Great place! We look up this place on map and it’s got high rating so we decided to come here. It’s very friendly and cozy place! Food was great! I got drunken noodles to share with my husband but it was too hot for him they offer him another plate without spicy and no charge. Plus a free Thai tea to wash down the hotness. Super friendly and no rushing you to get going. We enjoyed very much and will go back again!

The most flavorful meal! I had the Nam Tok with hot heat. It was rather spicy and oh so delicious! It came with this beautiful purple sticky rice. This was our first time here and 100% will be back within the week.

Stopped by for early dinner and the food was very good. It had a good spicy kick but wasn’t burning too much. The staff is very friendly and prices very good! The manager gave me a free Thai tea to go when I left although it was very sweet for my taste, it was delicious and it was a nice gesture!

Just new opening in my area. Still need learn more how's to be service as waiter. We got beef green curry ,really good taste and never see like how they present small ball and thick curry and fried calamari is really delicious. No lunch special though.Little bit pricey for this area. will back again soon and bring more people.

I walked in to this little restaurant not sure what to expect but wow was I PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! Each dish was soo good with incredible depth of flavors. The service was attentive and personal. Just found my new fav Thai spot!

My first time here and it was exceptional. The Tilapia basil was phenomenal. I like spice, and they didn't disappoint. My wife also very much enjoyed her spicy eggplant. Overall, a great find and my new favorite Thai restaurant.

Second visit a month later. I got takeout on the way home from work. The eggplant again was spectacular, but I tried the Nam Tok....WOW! What an amazing taste. You have to try this exceptional dish.

It’s always a treat to find real Thai food, but to find it on road trip from NY to NC was amazing. Delicious fresh food, friendly staff, great prices. Excellent!

Love this little tucked away Thai restaurant. Staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the appetizer in the photo. Forgive me for not knowing the name but I know it starts with an M and is at the bottom of the appetizer list.
