Charming weekend getaway. My husband and I loved our stay at the Foxie! We stayed in the Blue Room and enjoyed the comfy king bed and clawfoot bath tub. Our breakfast included a baked French toast dish that was absolutely delicious! Overall, impressed with the service, comfort, and central location to explore Sutter Creek!

A charming Victorian Mansion in the Sierra Nevada region. The Inn is located on Main Street but in a surprisingly wonderful environment. Our Anniversary room was lovingly cared for with all the comfort and elegant amenities. The owner of the Inn is extremely thoughtful and caring who pays attention to every detail. The parking facility on the property is nice. This Inn is a haven for the foodies. Two course delicious breakfast was served each morning in a garden setting. The kitchen is run by an award winning chef who not only prepares daily breakfast, but also prepares dinner for the guests in a private setting upon request. The four course dinner we had one night was memorable. We also had the luxury of getting private messages in a parlor within the property organized by the owner. I highly recommend the private dining and the message experience.
We have also enjoyed- wine testing in the local wineries, visit to the historic Knight Foundry and local shops along the Main Street.
Overall it was an unforgettable experience for my wife and I. We will return to Foxie in heartbeat.

We had a wonderful two night stay in the Blue Room. This is a large room with great natural lighting. The remote check-in & out was surprisingly nice. Usually, I like in-person communication when staying at a new place but the lines of communication were on point. They sent a couple of emails prior to our visit with thorough descriptions of how to check-in and where our room was located. Then, the day of check-in, they started texting us to welcome our arrival. Once we arrived, they greeted us again via text and reminded us to place our breakfast order for the next morning, before 5pm. There are notes throughout the room and fresh cookies and water to greet you. Loved the cookies!
The first night of our stay, we sat out in the garden area and enjoyed the peace. I wish the water feature would have been working but that's just our personal preference because we love water features. We did order the Breakfast in Bed option for the next morning which was nice and relaxing. The food was delivered on time and was beautifully displayed. You could tell they put a lot of care into making the meal as special as possible.
The Foxie is pretty much right at the beginning of town on Main Street which makes it very easy to come back and forth throughout the day in case you purchase too much. ~LOL
We plan on staying at The Foxie again! We'll probably try one of the other rooms just to see another theme but I am worried it won't hold up to the experience we had in the Blue Room. Thank you, for the lovely experience!

Any visit to Sutter Creek should include a stay at The Foxie. It’s perfectly located on the Main Street, has clean and updated rooms, and a unique charm that helps you relax and rejuvenate. From breakfast on the terrace with locally made jams and pastries to perfectly curated recommendations on how to make the most of your stay in Sutter Creek the team at The Foxie created a memorable stay for my friends and I. I can’t wait to return, and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed in the anniversary room, and it was charming, with all the amenities we needed. The clawfoot bathtub, spacious shower, and roomy bathroom were most welcoming. Lots of pillows and a comfy bed gave us a good night's sleep both nights. Breakfast was amazing! We had locks and cream cheese, egg salad on a croissant, and yogurt/berry parfait. Delicious and filled us up for the day's activities. You can walk in town or drive to nearby wineries. Last, the water here is amazing. Better than bottled.

Such a charming gem on an Inn! I came on a quick weekend getaway from San Francisco. The rooms were plush, lovely, well decorated and had everything I needed. I was in love with the brunch that was served. It was delicious and luxurious. Not to mention the best Wine tasting in town is located right next door. Would recommend for a romantic getaway or personal creative weekend in a heartbeat.

I spent the weekend at the Foxie with a group of girlfriends. We had such a fabulous time with relaxing breakfasts on the terrace and various activities around the area. The Foxie itself is full of character, super cozy (my room had a fireplace) and kept immaculate. I'll stay at the Foxie next time I'm in Sutter Creek!

My wife and I had the opportunity to stay here this past weekend. What a lovely B & B. A lot of attention to detail and made us feel very taken care of. Super clean, super cute and right in town for easy access to all the great shops and food in Sutter Creek. Thanks to all the great "behind the scenes" staff at the Foxie. We loved it!

The experience I had here was outstanding overall. My brother’s wedding reception was held here, and for an event often wrought with stress Pronita did everything in her power to keep things running smoothly. Not only did we have a fun and stress free time, but there was such attention to detail that I don’t think the couple could have come up with better. She decorated the tables wonderfully with flowers chosen to match the cake and suit the bride’s taste. When we got to the tables, we were delighted to find personalized menus, including the adorable faces of the cute couple. We enjoyed a full course dinner of Indian food (the couple’s favorite), that was tailored to the couple’s taste and love of history. Oh my goodness, everything was so delicious too!!! I am imagining it right now! Also, if you have a sweet tooth you are going to adore Pronita and her remarkable culinary skill.

Everything was just the perfect blend of cozy, comfortable, fun, & touching (thanks to all the amazing personalized touches). For such a special day, Foxie came through for us. I left glowing with a happiness that I’ve carried with me since leaving The Foxie.

We just got back from Spending our 28th Anniversary at The Foxes Inn. We couldn't be more satisfied with the Inn, the staff, the service, the room etc. The breakfasts were delightful and so elegant. We ate in the garden due to Covid restrictions and it was absolutely wonderful. We fell in love with the Inn and the town of Sutter Creek. We will definitely be back again!

I have stayed at the Foxes Inn on two different occasions. They were both the most pampered weekends I have experienced anywhere. The staff is so eager to make sure your stay is comfortable and they go out of their way to accommodate special requests. such as custom made cheese plates from the cheese shop down the street. The people are thoughtful, prompt with your breakfast order. The rooms are beautiful!

Wonderful staff and service. Delicious food - seriously not your average breakfast fare but way above and beyond excellent. You also get all the charm of a bed and breakfast in the gold country with the privacy of a hotel by being able to eat in your room and having a private bath. These are advantages not offered at every bed and breakfast and makes Foxes Inn a place even anti-social types open to trying and enjoying. If you want the big tv go for the Hideaway Suite, which is like having your own little apartment suite in an historic home. The charm factor is through the roof, and the number of special little touches from the hot tea and cookies on arrival to the thick towels and Keurig in the room all make the place worthy of the great reviews it receives.

Omg went on vacation and I felt so pampered staying at the Foxes Inn this B&B was awsome very clean and well kept rooms with a ton of class. THE BREAKFAST WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Decided to dine in the room the first morning had trouble sleeping in the kitchen smelled so yummy. Woke up early the second morning and had breakfast in the garden was so peaceful. I will definitely be back to stay here the staff took great care of us . Wish they sold copies of that custom classical CD I'd definitely buy a souvenir. Thank you for a great stay.

Our stay at The Foxie was nothing short of spectacular. Between 5 star hospitality and a welcoming & warm establishment, it provided the perfect romantic getaway that we were hoping for. Big kudos to the owner who made every moment of our trip a special one.

My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer — although, we’ll certainly be back!

I love the Foxes Inn. It is always clean and the staff and food is great!
The only thing that is wrong is that they are owned by Helwig Winery and they don’t serve wine like the other B&B’s Like the Grey Gables also in Sutter Creek.
The Candle Light Inn in Napa, The Olliberry Inn in Cambria all Serve free wine and food at there social hour.
This is something that they really should do in my opinion.

Love love love this place. The folks that work there are the BEST... always inquiring if anything is needed. Clean, organized and wonderful in room breakfast. A side note if you want / must have feather pillows, bring from home.
