Sutter Creek Inn

The best Inn I've ever stayed at. The hideaway room was very clean and recently updated. The decor and art work made for such a bright, cheerful and comfortable room. The grounds are beautiful. It was so peaceful and relaxing to sit amongst all the trees and flowers . The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They treated us like family and took a lot of time sharing the history surrounding their beautiful jewel of an Inn. Thank you for making our stay so special and one that we will always treasure.

I absolutely loved this inn. Charm galore. Our room had a swinging bed, patio and massive soaking tub. We got to meet the owners, they are SO nice. Let us tour around the property a bit and gave us some history. 100% would stay again.

Under THE BEST NEW ownership!!!!!! Excellent Inn with excellent location (located at the heart of the city). It was extremely unique, charming, clean, and comfortable. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff/owners! They are very easy to get in touch with and get right back with any needs you may have. They made our trip more fun with all their advice and tips about the city, shops, restaurants, and bars that are all within walking distance. We stayed in the “Hide Away” room and it was amazing!! We slept like babies in the swinging bed with the cool summer breeze through the windows. Any little spot at the Inn you find (inside or outside) to read, meditate, or enjoy a meal is so serene!!! We walked to the tasting room next door and loved the restaurant directly across the street for breakfast! Would definitely recommend this Inn to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again Michel’s for going just that little step extra for the guests!!!

This was a very cozy, quiet, beautiful place to stay during our time in Sutter Creek. The inn is really a hidden paradise with the grounds covered in lush vegetation. A great place to relax and connect with nature. It’s located right off of Main Street so you have plenty of places to explore while staying here. The owners are amazing and were very welcoming. Highly recommended!

This inn is the epitome of adorable. Situated right on Main Street with easy walking access to wine tasting rooms, antique stores, coffee shops, and even a local cheese shoppe! We stayed in the Patio Room, which featured its own private patio with a gorgeous tree. I loved having a cup of coffee on the patio as the sun rose over the trees. The Patio Room also had a neat swinging bed (quite a unique experience to fall asleep in a swaying bed), window bench overlooking a flourishing green courtyard, large shower and separate bath tub (and even bubble bath), and a book shelf stocked with books and games. We also made use of the Keriug and mini fridge, bringing home cheeses and olives from the cheese shoppe. The grounds of the inn were equally as charming with hammocks, statues, plenty of hidden seating areas, and beautiful plants and flowers. The owners were absolutely considerate and even surprised us with a bottle of sparkling cider when they learned we were visiting for our baby moon before our first baby arrived. I loved this place and cannot wait to return!

Husband and I did a quick get away from kids overnight. Stayed in the Tool Shed room. Love it. Walk around the shops, wine tasted. Enjoyed the slow paced and peace n quiet. In the morning had a wonderful breakfast in the main house. Staff was so friendly and nice. Definitely will be going back!

We had stayed in the inn a couple of years ago, and had good memories of it, so when we needed a place to stay after a local wedding we were very pleased that they had an available room for the night. The manager stayed open late to check us in, and even made sure to turn on the air conditioning in the room we wanted so that it could cool down while we did. Breakfast was excellent, the room was incredibly comfortable, and we had an excellent time. We would stay again a any time.

We were visiting on the way to our daughter's wedding and had trailered a small yellow car for the wedding. Our hosts made sure our truck/trailer were safely parked. We met the whole family in our brief stay. Everyone was so friendly and helpful I saw my stress level go to zero.

We love this place! So much historical information. Located in a beautiful setting. It’s a fun place to visit. As a suggestion always call ahead for current hours of operation.

Cozy rooms, beautiful grounds, friendly and welcoming staff......and the BEST free, full breakfast around. I never knew scrambled eggs could actually be delicious.

Not a lot of hot water but they're amazing, the swing bed lulls you to sleep, and the breakfast was so good and fresh... problem with the wifi to.

It's an Inn right on Main St, very cute, the sample food we tried was excellent, staff was very kind and accommodating answering all if our questions. After leaving, I wanted to book the next available dates!
