Really Friendly, took me right in, helped me find the best site for my needs! Clean and Organized can't say enough about "Teresa in the Office", well informed she really stuck with me during our conversation! Glad I found you...

I've not stayed in the little houses. I live here. I enjoy this park. What I don't like seeing are the kids that haven't been taught how to treat the wildlife here. Anywhere from chasing them down with their bikes to throwing rocks at them.

What a wonderful staff they have!!! Monique could not have been any lovelier or more helpful and friendly!! We have a 25' Stubby class A which tends to be notoriously difficult to level. Our site was not going to work because we couldn't get within two bubbles of center so we went to the office to see about a site more suitable for our rig. Monique immediately made four suggestions and let us choose. We found a perfect spot that allowed us to level quickly and we were able to just relax after three long days of travel. Everyone in the office was warm, welcoming, fun-loving and a joy to interact with after such a long day.

Thanks guys....so much!!!!!

This place was extremely clean. We rented a cabin(it had been painted recently)that was very quaint...like staying in a mini house. It was VERY quiet except for all the birds that wake you up in the morning (which I really liked). The only thing missing was coffee filters for the Mr.Coffeemaker...bring your own. I would definitely go back again
....perfect rest stop after wine tasting.

Cute spot for a getaway. Nice Cafe, great hot tub and 2 pools. We don't have Littles but there is a nice park area if you do. Pretty quiet considering it is right off of Hwy 16. Very nice and friendly staff. We didn't play this time but they have a volleyball court, horseshoes and pool table too. We will definitely be back! Next time I want to go wine tasting in the area!

A super happy place. Didn't stay but I did enter the store and bought a can of Diet Pepsi for $1. Lots of fun and funny items in the store. Woman who waited on me seemed really happy. Very positive vibe.only con. Price points change but they couldn't give me a price after hours. They have a pool and it was being utilzed which shows that people love it there. (oh and was a personal bodyguard for Steve Young and his family as well as a friend of Eddie and Carmen|

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend. While we were there, there was a gathering of military vehicle owners. How cool to see their work, the were all so nice and willing to give history lessons and explanations of their wares. The cabins are quaint and great. The pool and showers were clean and well kept. Perfect relaxation!

Best Rv park so far!! They provide showers, restroom, park for kids, pool, mini grocery store! They even have a picnic table on your Rv Space. Almost all the Rv parks I been don’t have none of these that I listed. The staff has get togethers at their hall and invite everyone at the Rv park. Lady’s in the office are amazing and so so friendly as well!!🥰. Would definitely come back!

Amazing staff, and the cabin was immaculate! We had everything we had all the kitchen supplies necessary to make our meals for the days. Site was a bit crowded but the kids enjoyed every bit of it. Staff is vigilant but not over the top❤ Will be back again and again!!

We stayed here for the first time over the July 4th weekend. We came with our expectations set low, since it's packed in with a lot of sites, and it was a holiday weekend. But we left very pleasantly surprised at how chill and relatively quiet it was for the circumstances!

Granted, there are A LOT of sites here. And this isn't peaceful wilderness camping by any stretch of the imagination. But we had zero issues with excessive noise, drunken partying (or fights), etc. There were lots of groups, and people BBQing and hanging out together. But everyone kept it respectful. There were some dogs that occasionally barked their heads off. But none were that close to us, so it was easy enough to drown out.

Our site backed up to the pond, and we really liked that. Our daughter loved being able to fish from our site. The downside is that you'll get other people (especially kids, who aren't always the most mindful about where they're standing or how they're casting) walking through the backside of your site, and sometimes standing there, basically in your site, to fish along the pond. Really you just have to look at the pond edge as a public area, and you back up to it.

If you want more privacy, I'd suggest some of the sites that back up to the hills. There are a lot of permanent residents along that back fence, but their sites all seemed well kept. The ones that were reservable looked like they had a decent amount of space between the parking pad and the fence to spread out.

There are lots of mature trees throughout the campground, which helps a lot with the sun/heat. Some sites are shadier than others though. We saw lots of people with EZ-Ups in the sunny spots.

The pool gets packed during the day day. But we went in the evening and there were plenty of tables/chairs, and the pool wasn't crowded. They have two nice sized pools -- one for play, and one that's supposed to be no-splash (though I didn't see either labeled). Plus a large hot tub under a covered structure.

The general store had ice cream and coffee, plus a selection of basic items you might need. Including some fishing supplies in case you wanted to try your hand at catching the bluegill or bass in the pond. It's catch and release only. But we learned that the fish love things like hot dogs. We ended up using bits from our leftover pizza (we tried Gold Dust Pizza in Sutter Creek, and it was excellent). The fish were hitting like crazy on bits of bacon and pepperoni.

We didn't use the wifi, since the Verizon signal was very strong. But I did see they have an option to pay to upgrade your wifi if you want it for streaming, working, etc. The cable channels worked great, and there was a good variety.

Probably my biggest gripe of the weekend was pulling into the place. The roads can get kind of narrow/crowded in some areas. We got stuck for 20 minutes behind two massive rigs trying to back into their sites. Other traffic was backed up on the other side of them too. We were blocking a long term resident's site while we waited, and the gentleman came up to check with us. He was super nice about it, and we offered to try to maneuver our trailer out of the way so he could park, but he decided to run another errand instead. He mentioned the place could get really crazy when check-out time comes too. Although we left a bit early on Monday morning, and there were quite a few people who left on Sunday, so we didn't experience any issues at all on our way out.

I wouldn't expect this place to become one of our yearly regulars. It's not our preferred style of camping. But I definitely expect we'll be back in the future, as it exceeded our expectations!

Great place for family. Good for getting to know other people or getting to stay alone. Kids run around during the day playing with other kids on their bikes and scooters. Pool still open as of July 14 2020. Just fun getaway from the city.

We spent 3 days at the park during the Amador County Fair, likely one of the busiest weekends of the year for this park. Everything was perfect and very convenient for fair access. The staff did an extraordinary job of keeping up with trash removal, bathroom sanitation and litter. One of the maintenance staff personnel, Crystal, is outstanding. She can be found zipping around on her cart all day ensuring bathrooms, showers were clean and orderly but always takes the extra minute to provide a meaningful "good morning" or "good afternoon" and let me or the office know if you need anything! We are making our reservations for next year for a few extra days! Great Park! Great people!

Uh-mazing! We visit this campground every year for the annual Halloween event and are never disappointed! Great, family friendly campground that is clean, well maintained, and friendly! Their cabins are a great option for those that do not have an RV, they provide everything besides clothing and food which is uncommon for campgrounds (normally you have to at least bring towels and linens). There is a small store and ice cream shop which is great for a warm afternoon. There is also a full size store across the street for any items you may have forgotten (which who doesn't do that?). Near downtown Plymouth, local wine tasting, and more. Great place to enjoy the weekend or use as home base while exploring gold country! Definitely recommend!

Awesome place! They have everything for the family to enjoy, from a playground to a mini arcade. They also have a cafe where you can buy your favorite coffee, ice cream and more. Very close to a nearby market, gas station, and restaurants. Super clean bathrooms throughout the campground. You can even rent their cabins if you chose not to stay in an RV. This is a great family campground. Pets are welcome too! This reminds me of a KOA, but half the price! We will definitely come back in the future. In fact, this is our new "go to" place for camping. Staff are friendly and welcoming. This place can be really packed on any given day, but still quiet for a good relaxation.

Getting ready to visit again! This RV resort is really nice and clean. We enjoy camping with our travel trailer here while visiting our favorite winery 🍷. The ducks that visit the campground make me smile.

The cabin was cozy and clean. I could park my motorcycle right by my bedroom window and the AC was so good it could prolly give you frost bite in August! The people in the next cabin over were friendly. Just an over-all nice place.
