Yosemite Ranch - Steak, Fish, Bar

Came for dinner with a friend.
The wait to be seated took a little longer than usual, even though I had an appointment.
The food was delicious. We got the caramelized pork chop and a steak with potatoes and broccoli. So delicious. Portions were great too.

The bread was soooooo good!!!!

Outstanding. We have sampled a wide variety of the menu and we're impressed with every selection...a rare dining opportunity in Fresno.

Every time we travel from LA to Fresno we most stop and eat the best so far juicy,fresh,delicious Rib eye. Be at the location as soon as they open ,it gets busy quickly. Or make your reservation.

Went on a a date night a couple days before Christmas. Not as packed as I expected but a steady flow of customers. Our reservation wasn’t even necessary. Love the atmosphere and open kitchen dynamic. Service was great as the hostess and waitress were very kind. Food is well worth the cost! From the bread appetizer to the bread pudding dessert, so delicious! I personally can’t afford frequent visits but hope to come back soon.

I had the rib eye “Chicago Style”. It was very good but the rib eye had a little more fat than I would like on it. I would suggest the center cut. The waitress we had was spot on with service, polite and cheerful. We had a drink at the bar while waiting for some of our guests to show up. The bartender offered great service and the drinks were made to perfection.

First time checking this restaurant out and it was really good! From the wait staff to the food it was fantastic. The poke appetizer was delicious and and great portion. I had the Ranch Steak and it was like butter! Great Smokey taste and I just couldn’t stop eating it. Would highly recommend this place to everyone. My family also enjoyed their meals as well. Thank you!

The staff seemed really laid back and the atmosphere was definitely family friendly. The food was exceptional, steak was cooked to perfection. Usually medium rare ends up too rare or medium ends up too cooked, but it was perfect here. Great for dates or just a casual dinner.

Came off the recommendation of a coworker and I really enjoyed my dinner. Casual steakhouse that put out a really nice ribeye at a decent price point. Got the special which was porcini encrusted and super good, cooked well and the mashed potatoes on the side reminded me of Boston Market (which is a high compliment). Service at the bar was solid, only compliant is beer list. That’s trash, no straight IPA, weird!

Good was worth the wait. I made reservations the second time I did not the first time and waited 2 1/2 hrs and ended up leaving. Great food, staff was friendly. We will return, w/ reservations.

One our most favorite places when we go to Fresno, Ca! It's very pricey.. so it's definitely a special night out place! The service is amazing and the Swordfish is grilled to perfection! Don't forget to have the Grilled Artichoke, it's tye best one I have ave ever had!

Was there for a birthday dinner (Salmon & Prime Rib). Good food, the Prime Rib had a lil to much black pepper & Rosemary on it, other than that it was good. Make reservations, wasn't crazy about sitting in the bar area.

A very nice and busy yet casual steakhouse with a decor ode to Yosemite National Park. Loved the wood trusses and and chimney in the waiting area. Make sure you make a reservation otherwise you'd be in a good wait. TVs in the bar area visible thru most of the place. The host and waiter were very courteous and knowledgeable with their menu. The food is delish and well portioned. The artichoke appetizer is a must try!

Take a look at the photo of the table top, you think the saw joints are real or do you think it’s stamped on for looks? It might be real since the woods are different colors. Wonder how many people have held the steak cutting knife before me? Will one of you use one of these knives in the future?

By the way, don’t sleep on the rice pilaf, it’s probably the best side, considering the potatoes are a bit much and heavy.

The little reed tomato you see with the ribeye, it’s needed, so underrated. It’s like ginger at sushi places. Acts as a pallet cleanser, but more of a flavor refresher, because you may get some flavor fatigue after a bit.

The steaks were obviously good but I’m so surprised by the tomato and the rice pilaf.

Should we talk about the wooden tray and how that adds to the presentation? No let talk about the 3 wiseshimps. They were grilled to perfection, bringing the gifts of charred, sweet, and tender to my mouth.

It was my first time but certainly not my last. Everything we had was amazing!! Our evening was cut short due to a power outage but the management and staff handled it very well. The food is divine!! Service was on their A game.

The food is always on point. Our server was also on point tonight. Also, their bar area is a great place to hang out and grab a signature cocktail.
It's not inexpensive but still the best value for high-quality steak.

We are new to Fresno. Relocated from Calabasas California. Yosemite Ranch has quickly become one of our favs. The ambiance is cabin like with elevated luxury finishes. The crowed is family oriented. The music is always on point and eclectic. The food is outstanding. Great drink options. Clean restrooms. Friendly loving and attentive staff. The quality of the food for ordering out and/or delivery is the same as dining in. We love this place so much we will be hosting business dinners here’s. Keep up the great job guys.

I was served the other night by Carlos, he is an amazing waiter would request him again for next time! Food was just as good as the service and will be returning again soon! Wait was a little long but that's to be expected as this is a very popular spot however was not bad at all.

It was our first time here last night and we had a great experience. We cannot overstate how well Jennavieve took care of us!! We find it hard to find kind, attentive, and present servers, but she was all that and more. Her menu knowledge was awesome + helpful and we hope to sit in her section when we return :)

In addition to our great service we loved the food - compliments to the kitchen crew! Santa Maria Steak appetizer, stuffed bread (must try!), a large apple + bleu salad to share (we took half home, it was massive), and some mashed potatoes and broccoli. We are light eaters and like to share different things on the menu so we tried a few things for our first time. We have our eyes on some entrees for when we return. Thanks again!

Truly the best steak I have ever had. Santa Maria Ranch Steak. Perfect crust and cooked perfectly. I forgot I even ordered a side til the end.

I'm from the Midwest where the steaks are from and they do not taste this amazing.

We enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was very friendly and even brought our daughter food out first. Drinks were even bodied, not too strong or light. I ordered the swordfish, and my wife had the porkchop, we definitely recommend the porchop, lol.
