Yes this is the BIG 5 in, Ridgecrest, California. Fantastic customer service! That's what the 5 stars are for, I only wish I had got his name, he deserves to know he earned 5 stars for customer service assistance and courtesy! I do know he worked, 06/07/23 around 4p.m. and was a handsome young man who had assisted me with a size l0.5 shoe size I was looking for. You Rock! Manager, this young man deserves a raise.

They were friendly and had what I needed at a good price.

This is the nicest and most well stocked Big 5 I've ever been too. I went in not expecting much being that Ridgecrest is so small and removed from metropolitan areas, boy was I wrong.
The store is clean and the merchandising and displays are all done very well with plenty of stock.
I came in to check their ammo supply and ended up buying some. Process was quick and painless considering California is such a pain.
Very pleasantly surprised, wish my home town Big 5 was this nice.

Nice quiet area and less crowded location for this chain. I found something very hard to find these days, 3 out of 20 Big 5 in 100 mile radius had a shotgun- the onerous government requirements were handed professionally and I was very happy with the service from Lacy the store manager— walked me through all the government BS hoops and made it a painless as possible. Recommend this location highly.

Great deal on shoes, sports gear and more. Always liked Big 5. If you need ammo call ahead to see if they have it in stock. A lot of times only limited supply on certain calibers of ammo. 👍😀 Friendly staff and Good management in my opinion.

It's a very friendly business the moment you walk in. The whole store has a nice pleasing smell of sporting goods. Don't take that the wrong way meow but it is set up really well and I've been shopping at this Big 5 for years for shoes, swimming gear, and weights. I've never been disappointed at how the employees are trained or who I interact with and their professionalism. I'd give all the employees past and present a metal if I was President. The level of customer service is off the charts in my book. Called to see if they had any hats, specifically for my team, as you see in my profile picture, and given an answer quickly over the phone. Upon arrival, I was greeted promptly, by the blonde who answered my call and taken directly to my new hat. I also asked for jogging pants and was promptly escorted to several selections, one of which I purchased as well. I have to say that I am extremely happy for service provided as always from this location. Well done. I will continue to shop her in the future.

I have been to a lot of Big 5 stores this one is not much different. The people are friendly and helpful. Best place to get sports supplies. They had a reasonable selection of clothing items as well. Even some toys for the kids.

The employee's were extremely helpful. And the manager even ran to the back during my transaction to find the correct size of shoe he assured me they had in inventory.

Very Clean as Organized store, no empty shelves, decent selection to choose from of everything , excellent friendly and helpful knowledgeable staff ready to serve if not too busy.

Big 5 always has been a great store to visit. This location is large and has a wide selection for your sport/camping/hunting needs.

Always enjoy there store the manager helped me and gave me his discount thanks I got two pairs of shoes for under $50 bucks for work .

Got a pair of New Balance walking shoes at a great price. We are very fortunate to have a Big 5 in Ridgecrest.
