Taqueria Bernardinos

To be quite honest I've known these people for many many years. This is a family run dude with Mr Bernardino the start of it. And his daughters that were quite hard to take care of this restaurant the food and the atmosphere it's one of a kind. And the love from this family is felt in their food and their service. I might be a bit biased but I feel quite strongly about this family and I think they're great. And Mr Bernardino still runs the kitchen. The food from start to finish has always been great

I had never eaten breakfast here and met a friend for breakfast. Had a senior #2. I was very impressed with my biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. Perfect! I noticed how accomodating the place was with my friend's kids and their meals too. Never thought of this place as a breakfast place but I will be back!

This is my favorite authentic Mexican food restaurant of all time. The food is absolutely amazing. My go-to order is the asada tacos with cilantro, onions and cheese. But I have never had one thing off their menu that isn’t delicious. Their salsa bar is great, and each option has tons of flavor. It’s hard not to fill up on chips and salsa before your food arrives. Every time we go there it is a treat. The family is so nice and it’s always great to visit with them. If I could give them more than 5 Stars I would.

Update: we went for valentine 2023 and they have heart shape red colour nachos and strawberry

We came here for 69 birthday of my friend and I asked Ailoni for a birthday cake but instead she came with the owner father to sing happy birthday for my friend. Such a beautiful surprise. Ailoni is best server.

Love their food especially the biscuits and gravy they offer for breakfast in the morning, having that from a Mexican food restaurant is not the norm but it is delicious and recommended to anyone looking for something different

Super delicious tacos. Open for dine in. I normally get the fish tacos but today I tried the chicken and Carne asada. 2 of each was to much for me even though I was hungry. Chips and salsa are perfect too... Highly recommend Bernadinos both in Ridgecrest and Inyokern.

Friendly and helpful staff. Interior is kitschy and cool, just what I would expect. We went on the off hours and there was still people there, good sign.

We ordered a couple of burritos and tacos and everyone loved it. Flavours so good.

The complimentary salsa was some of the best we’ve ever had. It had a perfect heat and a nice pepper flavour.

Reasonable pricing as well.

Exceptional authentic Mexican food. Their chips and salsa are amazing and their huevos rancheros is the best I've ever eaten. Not too mention they have terrific customer service.
By far and away the best Mexican food in Ridgecrest!

Super cool really good food service was amazing and I left full! My friend showed me this place and it was a really good place I told him I was super happy to go there and experience the good food an atmosphere we had the chicken nachos special with super salad

My husband and I came here for lunch with friends. The service here is always pleasant and the food was excellent. I ordered the taco salad; it was fresh, and the portion was perfect for the price. I have always enjoyed this family dining experience.

Great experience, the people are friendly and welcoming. Although, they need to distinguish themselves from other typical Mexican culinary food. The is good. Not to sound like a snob. But, I have had authentic - regional Mexican food and once you have the that nothing else in the US has measured up to that.

This place is amazing. I personally and not a big fan of Mexican food but everyone else in my family is and if we have to go anywhere... This is what I will always opt for. Their breakfast burritos are amazing and I can always find something else accommodating. Its a casual environment and not overwhelming so it's very relaxing.

One of the best restaurants in Ridgecrest. I ordered the complete nachos with steak. I subbed plain avocado for guac. Hubby got the same but with no avocado as he's allergic. The food was hot and delicious! Service was fast too. So good!

Amazing Tacos 🌮. DELICIOUS salsa. Great customer service. That alone requires a weekly encore.

My family eats here all the time. The food is always good and fresh. This place is really popular for lunch, so the line can get a little long, but it's definitely still worth it.

This place has awesome food. I had the taco salad with adobada and it was awesome. Also some of the best chips and salsa I have ever had at a restaurant. Definitely recommend.
