El Compadre Restaurant

went to another mexican food place and was not disappointed! service people were amazing and so was the food. got the beef enchiladas and forgot to take a start picture from how hungry I was. 9/10 I recommend it to anyone.

About 10 years ago..my wife and I went to El Compadre..the restaurant was closed at 9 pm
Alberto the owner said he would fix us anything we wanted anyway...we really appreciated that
When I go to El Compadre now I order the 2 burritos...one shredded beef and one pork
I always tell our server I would like the burritos to be big and I will pay extra...the burritos are large but Alberto never charges me extra..It's more than just $ to Alberto

I treat all my customers the same way...its more than just $
It's customer service...I rarely charge my customer's for little add ons ...just like Alberto
Also if you look at the pictures I posted the plates are completely full of food

The food and service were great! My buddy was driving a Chevy Colorado and an old timer walked up to our table and asked if he was from Colorado because he drove a Colorado so he must be from Colorado, he said no and the old timer without another word just turned and walked away, that was funny lol. Would definitely recommend if you're on the peninsula.

We stopped by to grab dinner to go. Stayed for a drink while waiting for our food and the wait staff was great. When we got back to our place, the food was great! My husband and I both thought it was better than any place we had tried near where we live. I got chicken fajitas and my husband got a roasted game hen. Both were great. My son had a bean and cheese burrito. We where so glad we ended up trying out the restaurant!

They were the ONLY restaurant in town that could accommodate our party of 13! They opened the back room at 8:15 pm, even though they closed at 9 pm.

We had 3 hungry kids, and the server kept bringing us chips, salsa, and bean dip (they must understand that hungry kids are angry kids) while we waited for our order.

The tacos al carbon were DELICIOUS even if the beef was a little chewy, the guacamole was a tasty traditional instead of spicy, the rice and beans were good, the scallops were nicely cooked,

Absolutely excellent food! Great margaritas too! Friendly, fast service. Can highly recommend this Mexican restaurant to my friends and family.

Great local Mexican restaurant and bar/cantina in Long Beach. Clearly beloved by long-time residents for good food, generous portions, and attentive, very friendly and professional wait staff--Tip Them Accordingly! Decent combo plates and cocktails, too. Popular take-away service, too. So Go Already!

We are visiting from out of town visiting the state of Washington with our RV. So we have dined in our share of mexican restaurants. This restaurant is very close to authentic mexican food. Food taste great. We ordered the super burrito and a combo with a chile relleno and enchilada. Finished with a yummy flan. All were great options on the menu. The prices are reasonable for the large portions. The chips and salsa provided with the meal are really good. Our waitress was extremely attentive and made our meal complete. We would definitely go back.

visited the restaurant during the rod run in 2023 and had the best ever ground beef soft taco in my life! I try to visit them every year when in Longbeach, Wa. and have never had a bad meal. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for Mexican food.

Absolutely delicious and amazing food and service my husband and I live in Gig Harbor Washington and drive to Long Beach for the day we went to a local shop and they recommended this restaurant they said it’s best Mexican food in town and I honestly think there correct and the chips were fresh so delicious

Solid Mexican food with great service! Several times there and it's always consistently delicious! Order a Margarita or Pina Coloda for sure! Their chimichangas are the best!

Had the Chili Verde and Chimichanga and both were excellent. Everything was super fresh and there was more than I could eat. Salsa was great and our chips tasted just barely cooked and they were still warm. Good service and bright happy atmosphere.

Great Mexican food, good margaritas! Super busy for one or two servers but they did great! Remember, kindness and patience are free. Everything was well worth any wait.

Amazing and hard working waitress. Chips and salsa were fresh and perfect. Enchiladas and burritos were great. Our kids ordered American food at a Mexican restaurant and loved it, lol. Best fries! Our favorite family friendly restaurant during our week stay.

This place was great! Awesome food! We had the waitress who’s pregnant with some bad reviews, but she was delightful, hard working, and down to business. People need to realize she’s working while very prego, so give her a break, God only knows what she’s going through. Service was awesome, never had to ask for refills on water, which is what I generally go off of, food was out in reasonable manner.

The food is always good at El Compadre. They have good staff that always great me with a smile and the atmosphere is very relaxed. They are one of my favorites.

This restaurant is family friendly and the service was amazing. The food was delicious and the alcoholic drinks were made well. The server went out of his way to make sure my drink wasn't too strong for me, because I'm a lightweight ;)
