Aguilar and Son’s is amazing.!! Richard is down to earth and will be honest with you about your vehicle. My family has been coming to him for several years and every time the work has been exceptional.
My husbands work car needed to be smogged and several places wanted to charge him an arm and leg and even told him that there was no fix for it. I recommended Richard’s which is my dads go to, and as expected, it passed. He definitely knows what he’s doing and gets right to the point. Thank you.!!

BIG THANK YOU to Richard & David for taking the time to try & do everything possible to pass my Mom's '99 Ford F150. For some reason we were having trouble finding a smog location around our area that would take my Mom's vehicle for a smog due to the high heat temperatures affecting their machines that handles older model vehicles. We thought well if it gets cooler then we would be able to take it in to one of the locations; WRONG. We think it has to do with the high tech machinery that is turning to electric model cars so they can get older model cars off the road. Finally, after many weeks having no luck we contacted American Smog Shop to see during the cooler temperature we had but they still said no they still couldn't smog her vehicle & advised my Mom to try Aguilar & Son's. She did contact David & they took her in right away without an appt. It wouldn't pass so they worked on it so it would pass. One last thing my Mom has to worry about & still able to get it registered for her to drive her vehicle around. Upon picking up her vehicle Richard even let us know that if anything ever was to happen to her vehicle to just tow it there & they will fix it for her (we sure never had anyone let us know that). Thank you again for your expertise & kindness. We definitely will be back for any of our vehicle repairs. So hard now-a-days to find caring & honest mechanics.

My son lives in Gilroy and takes his truck to these guys. I needed break work on my LS 400 Lexas . It took two days to get the part. but finally got it fixed. Great Communication throughout the job. I appreciated that. Thanks to all.

Needed my car smogged for registration, and called in to see if they could take me as a same day appointment. Spoke with Richard (owner/partner) and he welcomed me in right away. I arrived and was greeted by his friendly staff and they asked me to pull my car right up. Richard was very efficient and did the smog check in just minutes. They check-out process was smooth and easy as well. Very happy experience for me. Working with mechanics can be intimidating but these guys reassure me that there are "good guys" that want to offer services in a very professional and seem less way.

My wife and I have been going to Aguilar and Sons for many years. Going on 12 years actually. We've never had to have any work done that was not needed, or had been requested by the dealer/manufacturer.

I had the valve cover gasket and spark plugs replaced on my '07 Honda Civic here this past week, and the service was fantastic. (At first glance from the outside, I was a little concerned about the quality of workmanship I would get. Think, your dad's garage...) Everyone I spoke with was very friendly and helpful; they even washed and dried my car for free! It's hard to find good, honest mechanics, but Aguilar and Sons hits that nail on the head. I will definitely be back for maintenance in the future, and I highly recommend coming here. PS Their actual address is 330 E 7th St Hanford.

After traveling over 670 miles from oregon I was stranded due to car trouble, my vehicle had to be towed to the nearest auto repair shop in Hanford, Ca. which was (Aguilar and Sons). With no prior knowledge of this auto repair shop, I had no choice but to put my trust in this business. Richard Aguilar the owner personally took care of my vehicle, Taking the extra time to give me a few lessons in fuel pumps and gas tanks with pinched lines! He spent a lot of time at the end of his busy day/week to provide me with personal assistance. He knew I was stranded miles from my home and he did not take advantage of my situation. His credibility, knowlege, and personal service was very appreciated. I feel he went above and beyond to help diagnose my vehicle, taking time to carefully explain the problem to me and through talking with my mechanic in Oregon, about the history of the vehicle and services performed relating to my problem he found the root of the problem, came up with a solution to get me home safely without performing any unnecessary repairs. He did not charge me for the 2 hours of work he did, and he communicated with me to see that I made the trip home safely and followed up with me. I highly recommend this buiness because of the quality and personable customer service provided. Given my complicated situation he could've performed unessesry and expensive repairs that would've required ordering parts, delaying me from returning home, instead he used his knowledge and expert advice to provide a solution. I highly recommend Aguilar and Sons!

Very very satisfied with the work proformed on my car i needed to have my catalytic converters replaced major car work on my VW very expensive to these guy did the work at half the price that other mechanic wanted to charge me i am so so satisfied my car has pass smog im happy I will use them again when needed William

Always bring my car to the shop. Never really went anywhere else. Always reasonable, tells you straight forward what is wrong and if it really needs to addressed. Have been going here since I got my car, I highly recommend this place for all your vehicle repairs.
