Canyon staff was quick, courteous, professional. I took my puppy in to be examined for neutering. I was there for about an hour in total. My puppy is a 7mo old Mastiff/Pitbull and I'm confined to a wheelchair. With confidence, the ladies handled my dog with finesse. After the exam, Dr.Jenkins, was quick to point out that my dog was 1mo past due for vaccination and informed me if I had him give the vaccination it would be $30 and the examination cost of $67 would be free. I saved $37!

Kind, Affordable, Accurate: Providing an excellent service to our community. I recently took my cat in to Dr. Tom (Jenkins) at Canyon Veterinary for a UTI. I as a cat-mom had made many mistakes in trying to care for my cat before I was able to get him in for care. Dr. Tom was compassionate. He didn’t lecture me. He didn’t make me feel bad. He was kind. He educated me. Dr. Tom didn’t insist on a bunch of costly tests. He could have easily inflated the cost of examination and treatment, but did not. My cat was treated with shots, IV fluids, and prescription medication. The cost for these services was shockingly low!!! My cat was feeling better within hours and is back to his old self. The front office staff/techs are very polite and helpful. If you do go, expect excellent care but a bit of a wait. I didn’t mind the wait. It means your pet will get quality time with the doc and speaks to a bustling practice of happy customers.

Dr. Tom Jenkins and his vet tech team are very kind to the animals and to my dogs. They are respectful and professional and their prices are fair and most importantly, they were able to see my dogs sooner. Photos are of my baby Sterling! Thank you for taking care of him.

We took our pet in and the staff and the vet are so nice. They love the animals and treat them with respect. Best vets around but they are closing their doors on Friday the 22nd of this month. Which really sucks cause now everyone has to find new places to go.

After trying several animal hospitals that only cared about money. I finally made it to Canyon Animal Hospital and the Veterinarian Physician was very honest, kind and helpful he took the time to explain me in detailed what options I had and what he would recommend ever before talking about money. I felt that he cared for my puppy. I felt comfortable and felt he is a very nice and kind person that loves animals and truly cares. Also, Prices are reasonable. The lady’s at the reception were nice and helpful I am very thankful to God my puppy is alive and she is recovering now thanks to this team. Thank you guys again 😀.

The Dr and staff were so supportive when we had to have one of our fur babies euthanized --they gave us a room and all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. We will always be grateful. Last week another of our fur children needed extensive dental work--we found out he also had thyroid problems. This dog likes NO ONE but our family--he fell in love with the vet--not one attempt to bite. We will certainly return.

Canyon Veterinary is a high quality facility. The staff members are all friendly and caring. Dr Tom is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. It's obvious that he became a vet because he truly loves animals. My dogs always receive excellent care here. They do get quite busy at times so you might have to wait but it's well worth it to get quality care and reasonable prices.

I recommend reaching out to Canyon vet in Ridgcrest if you can. They are local and a very kind, generous team. They genuinely wanted to help and let me come in the same day when I called. I was expecting to pay their walk-in fee as discussed over the phone, which was no biggie.. money wasn't a concern at this point. I just wanted the kittens to make it! They ended up charging me next to nothing for the care the newborn kittens received and honestly went above and beyond what I could have hoped for. The Vet doc came into the exam room after making time for the kittens and WHAM, BAM.. done in ten! Excellent, efficient and knowledgeable care. That's what you look for in a good business, and good people.

They were understanding and didn't look at me funny or treat my dog poorly because I was on a limited budget. As a matter of fact, they treated him without requiring full payment because my dog was in need. To top it off, the treatment worked and my dog is back to his normal happy self.

Canyon Veterinary Hospital was there when no other vet in town could see my very sick dog. Dr Jenkins and his staff were professional, honest, and compassionate. My little guy unfortunately did not make it due to his illness had gone to far. But everyone was so kind and compassionate, and I thank them for even seeing him when others could be bothered. Thank you Canyon :❤

Have been going to canyon for many years. My mom sister and I all take our dogs here. Dr.Jenkins does a fabulous job for our fur babies. Saved my moms dog miley's life. Treats our dogs when they are sick. Does their basic check ups and more. Very professional and thorough in his work and at an affordable price! Amazing staff and clean environment. Will continue to use canyon veterinary hospital always.

This place is just fantastic. Dr Jenkens and staff took us in within 1 hour after we called on a Monday no less. Diagnosed the problem quickly as this guy has seen a few. Got us back on the road (we were here from out of state) in a flash! Thank you Canyon for treating us like locals!!! ❤❤🇺🇸

Great veterinary office! The staff are compassionate and professional. My dog needed immediate surgery after her eye was punctured by a feral cat. The office got her in right away, and Dr. Jenkins answered all my questions, explained my dogs injuries and explained what he planned to do during the surgery. My furry little friend is healing now, and the doctor thinks she is going to be fine. I do too! I'm so grateful we have Canyon Verterinary Hospital in our community.

Five star this veterinarian save saved my dog long time ago I just have never posted anything about it but I do think about this place all the time when I play with my dog.. thank God. I do recommend

One of the best Veterinaries I have been to in years. I like straight to the point and Dr Jenkins is just that. I also love the fact that the staff, including Dr Jenkins, is very personable and willing to take the time with the families and their pets. Canyon Vet, keep doing what you do. You’re amazing.

Took my dog in same day I called. Vet was patient with me and explained everything. Nice office personnel. Going to move my dogs over to Canyon Vet. Also the price was shocking. It was like half the price I pay at the other vet in town. Thanks for helping my dog feel better.

Personalized care. Spot on diagnosis and treatment in my opinion. Great option for not being able to be seen for 2+ months at other locations in town. Dr. Tom knows his stuff, prices were reasonable.

The girls at canyon veterinary hospital were wonderful...they really helped us when we just lost our furry baby son..we had rivers for 13 yrs and he suddenly got I'll and past away at home where he wanted to be..we had planned to take him and put him to sleep but he went before we made it there...i called and told them he had passed can we still bring Jim in..they said of course..when we got there they were very attentive and handled the transfer of rivers from car to inside the hospital..they took care of everything for us..they were really there when we needed somebody to be...i would recommend them to everybody..were still waiting for rivers to come back home in his new resting place....thank you to all the girls for your kind and thoughtful actions n words when we needed it the most...YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST..

Great vet! The other vet in town wouldn't see my sick Guinea pig, but this vet did. Not only that, but he was very knowledgeable about Guinea pigs.
The staff was good and I really enjoyed the vet's eccentricities.
