Claim Jumper Steakhouse & Bar- Buena Park

Aesthetics slightly dated, but still nice and wooden. Food is generally decent. Worth a visit after a tiring day at knott’s berry farm.

We had a wonderful dinner that included a three-course meal featuring tomahawk steak two salads and a dessert. We added lobster and a baked potato for the perfect dinner. Try the spicy bacon appetizer it's incredible! Our server was Angel, and he was super attentive and professional.

Celebrated my birthday on a Tuesday evening. Enjoyed appetizer, meal and drinks...cake and ice cream for birthday. Waitress was very pleasant and checked on us often. I always enjoy the food!!

Old Favorite still has it! Although I recommend reservations the wait could be a while. Greeted and quickly seated by a friendly smiling staff. Gave us the booth we requested, nice touch! The menu has depth and is kid friendly for this dinning with kids. It's a but loud so for the little sleepers maybe not a so good. Overall experience was just like it always is Fantastic. Angel our server was TopNotch, even while handling a party of 15 across from us, still handled our order and the follow up was awesome! Clean, organized, good food and great service stood out tonight. Thank you Claim Jumper.

Great place to go if you're hungry because they have big portions that are delicious haven't been there in years. And we'll be going back soon

Decided to go to happy hour before we went to Knotts. This was for New Year's Eve. After we parked we walked over to Claim Jumper for some drinks. It so happened that it was happy hour when we showed up. Drinks were good and great prices were low. Pregame before the long night was a good idea. From there it was a short walk back to the park. 😉

We came here for happy hour. We ordered the lemon pepper zucchini, and pretzel bites. The zucchini so was good, and the pretzel bites were perfectly cooked. Happy hour cocktails were amazing. The only downside was the draft beer was flat. Otherwise a great place to stop in for a quick bite and some drinks.

We had a great time and very delicious food.

Their stakes are very good but their unique cakes aren't beatable.

Always have a great meal at Claim Jumper's. This visit didn't disappoint me either. Started with a Caesar salad, then had a cup of soup, followed by the herb butter grilled salmon withered the veggies and the creamed corn. The corn was outstanding. The salmon was delicious.

My server Karima was AMAZING! so warm & attentive. She made sure I had a glass of cold water right away, before I even had a chance to ask for one. She was ready to take my order without being intrusive. Great personality, poised.
I was also impressed by the team work, positive vibes between the whole crew. Made the whole place feel so welcoming. It's a great place to enjoy great food & drinks with friends, family or on your own.
The positive energy was Spreading. Customers from different tables were congratulating each other on their Birthdays.

The food was great, the service quick and courteous.

I'm not a fan of making a lifestyle of eating at restaurants regularly. So, when I do, I'm very picky and not many of theses restaurants impress me.
I can sponsor Claim Jumper to be a great dining experience. The menu is American cuisine and it has a great variety. The desserts are truly better than most.
The dining room isn't too loud when it's crowded and the lighting is OK.
On the rare occassions that my family and I can all agree on a place to eat, Claim Jumper is always an unanimous YES!

Came in for the Veterans Day special, and lovely Linda, my barkeep took care of me.
Because of the crowd, it took a little while to order. But once I did the food came in less than seven (7) minutes!
Obviously, the kitchen was prepared!
The food was good --- wish I could have had a simple vegetable: corn, peas, green beans!
But nowadays everyone serves what they call grilled vegetables!
Which are basically the stuff no one eats: cauliflower, squash, carrots and a majority of the time they are still hard! Hence, grilling DOES NOT cook veggies!
Anyway, Linda was instrumental in the enjoyment of my meal, in addition to the Veteran commoradery!

Dark dreary but service was great. Waiter was amazing.

Chicken pot pie: my order of pot pie was a mess. Clumpy dough crust. Top crist was over done. Inside ingredients were dry.

My food and service was excellent 👑 Michael my waiter was by far 🥳 the best!! We were a table for 9 people and not once we were short on drinks etc he checked on us very often .

The wait was only about 15 minutes to be seated. The food was delicious and the server was attentive.
I did appreciate that the server explained the CJ Loyalty program and wasn't pushy about it.
The place was clean and everyone we encountered was friendly. The restrooms were clean and well stocked.
Everything was so delicious that we only got one blurry picture of a burger.

We absolutely love Claim Jumper. This was our first time eating at the Buena Park location and it was great. Food was amazing and waitress Jackie was incredibly lovely. I'd specifically go back to this location because she was so nice!

Amazing experience!! I love Claim Jumper, let's start with that. But, this was my first time (as well as my family's first time) coming to this location. We came to Buena Park to celebrate my mom's birthday, as this was the mid-point for my whole family to gather. The staff was friendly, our service was on-point and our waiter was on top of our orders and drink refills. My dad had an issue with the food he ordered and it was quickly replaced with another dish of his choice, without any problems. Highly, highly recommend this location!! 20 out of 10, in my opinion! Thank you for a wonderful experience, guys!!

Seems like they keep making changes but they have yet to disappoint my finicky kids. We've been coming here since they were toddlers a special birthday treat. Now as 19 and 21 year old adults, we are still coming here to this exact location. Hands down one of our favorite family time meal places.

Had a meal last night and the food was amazing.
I had the steak & shrimp with mashed potatoes and coleslaw and one of my favourite meals in a long time. Plenty of flavour
One tiny issue that was dealt with immediately.
Great service and I’d highly recommend
