In Hanford, Ca., there are a few authentic Mexican food options. Jalisco is a simple walk up counter where you order your food exactly the way you want it. Burritos, taquitos (get there early), tamales, carnitas etc. Their Burritos are huge and include beans, rice, salsa (you can get this on the side) and your choice of meats or Chile Verde. Simple tasty food. It's one of the best options for a quick lunch. There are no tables available here so don't plan for a sit down. Try this out when you're looking for a tasty lunch. They're right at the end of main street near 10th Ave.

It's just the best PERIOD! I recommend either the Carne asada or Chile Verde burrito. But for the foodie...try a carne asada, chicharron with Chile Verde sauce burrito. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 20/10 Thank me, later😉

This place does not get any more authentic on this side of the border... the chicharron burrito with chile verde is the best experience my taste buds have had I'm many many years!
So since then I've had the taquitos and oh my I can't get enough of them. You better go try them°

Best place for burritos in the Valley. I have been eating here for almost 30 years. Burritos are huge and better than everywhere else I have tried. Now living in Fresno, I make the drive to Hanford about once a month and pick up 5 or 6, vacuum seal them and freeze them to get me through.

Been getting burritos here since I was a kid. Best burritos in town! Always fast and friendly Customer service! Be warned around lunch you might wait a bit in line because they are that good so it sometimes gets crowded but once you place your order it's ready. Highly recommended!

Best burritos around. Try it and you will see why there is always a line. It moves fast so don't worry though. They don't put a bunch of chopped veggies on theirs but the flavor is unmatched. And they use cotija not shredded cheese, which in my opinion is the only proper way to have cheese in a burrito.

Excellent hole-in-the-wall store selling snack food, some cooking ingredients, and most famously: amazing burritos. People come far and wide to stand in line for their famous prepared fare. There's just something special about their refried beans - thank the lard!

Best spot in town to get tamales menudo and a variety selection of burritos. I go every Sunday to get menudo so yummy. I also took my girlfriend there because I wanted her to experience a burrito that she has never had its the burrito with the tamale inside it oh my God it's so freaking good

OH MY GOSH their burritos are killer. The Chile Verde was to die for and everything tasted so authentic. The tortillas compare to the ones my mama used to make, they’re like a drug.
Everything is huge too! The tamales look like the burritos in size!
And the price? It’s so cheap. You would be stupid not to come here.

This little places has some secrets that the name of the establishment conceals. They do make tortillas but the thing to come in here for is their hot food. I am originally from Los Angeles where there's an abundance of good eateries and I have highly recommended places. But this spot probably has the best Chile Verde Burrito I've ever had the pleasure of eating. You can request to add Chicharron in your burrito and it elevates the taste to another level. This is my favorite places to purchase lunch in Hanford. You can order ahead through phone or walk in and wait in line about 5 to 10 minutes. You have to come in early because the Chicharron runs out quick. 5 Stars!!!!

Moved to Virginia 9 years ago, still crave a chili Verde burrito. May never forget it. It was that good. If I ever get back to Hanford, that will be my first stop before visiting my step daughter!!!

What I used to think of as a hometown favorite, has now become my universal favorite burrito. I have long since left Hanford for college, career, then leaving the state all together for a job transfer. I will come back everytime I visit family (they are usually obliged to tag along too).

I remember the days when it was cash-only, only having a few drink fridges, the faces behind the counter were a little younger... but the carne asada burrito with queso and salsa remains the same delicious foil-wrapped delight (my parents prefer the chile verde). Unfortunately, that is all I can be relied on to review, as this is the only thing I have ever ordered. There's no improving on perfection.

Parking can be a little scarce if its busy, but even if it is, the line moves pretty quick. One thing to note: this place is take-out only. As far as I know its the only one of its kind. I hope it never changes.
