Rick did his best to help me make sure the problem I was having couldn't be resolved at home first with some quick things to try before I brought it into him trying to help me save money. I ended up needing to bring my truck in and after he looked at it he gave me a detailed report with options to determine what best fit into my budget... Got a great education Rick and a real nice shifting truck... PLUS...they made sure the truck was ready for the day I asked for it to be complete at the price we agreed on. Really good, nice guys. They put in effort to get things exactly how I wanted and made sure I was happy with how they were going to do things. I came in for a quick simple job and they were very patient about helping me as best they could. I would 100% reccomend them to anybody. As a side bonus Rick seems to really know his stuff well.

First heard about Rick and the team at Snohomish Transmission from my brother in law, who was happy with the work they had done for him. In 2015, when one of my cars began slipping in reverse, I reached out to several transmission shops to understand my options. Rick was informative and frank in explaining my options and the pros & cons of each. In the end, I had them install a used transmission that I found at a wrecking yard back east, and their work was done on time and within budget. (I appreciated that Rick openly warned me that with a used transmission there was some risk that there might be an internal issue with a used transmission that might not be detectable prior to installation, and that his shop is not liable for this, since they are just installing a transmission that I am providing. Some people might be put-off by this but I really appreciated the direct communication.) Since then, I have had two other vehicles in for a variety of services, such as replacing a neutral safety switch, changing trans fluid & filters, servicing the rear diff, replacing a tie rod, and most recently, re-welding a sway bar mounting bracket & bolt that had pulled out of the frame. Knowledgeable and capable service at reasonable prices means good value for my money.

This shop was reccomended to us by another mechanic, and I couldn't be happier. Rick analyzed our truck, and did the need work. He was very knowledgable, helpful, and honest. I won't hesitate to return to this business if we need further work done.

Took in my buick rendezvous for a transmission lock up solenoid repair and they replaced it and changed the fluid and filters and reprogrammed it and it works perfectly now.
I've used them on 2 previous vehicles and was very impressed.

I took in my large extended cargo van expecting to need a new transmission. They checked it out and explained to me why I am the problem, not the transmission. Subsequent experiences have proven them correct. I will definitely go here anytime I have transmission issues

I brought my 1994 Chevy K3500 in for rear axle noise, they were able to properly diagnose the noise which turned out to be a rear brake drum and yoke on the rear axle and fixed a leaking pinion seal while they were in there, very satisfied that I didn’t need the rear axle completely rebuilt

I've used this shop for years. The owner is very knowledgeable and honest doesn't try to upsale you and does a great job. Very good prices. I recommend this place over any other transmission shop around.
