Upper Skagit Library

This library is welcoming to all! Every staff member is incredibly friendly. They have a teens section that is cozy and fun. A kids section that has lots of activities and even sometimes some free to take home bags. They have fun weekly/monthly activities for all ages and overall such great supporters of the community alongside being such an asset themselves. This is somewhere I look forward to go and feel like I always have a place. They're a great resource hub for multiple things. There is also a section for atypical items (besides books). Such an adorable library! My close friend collects library cards so I stopped by to ask for a card. The lady at the counter was super sweet. She gave us a card and told us we could pick seeds to grow! The cutest little addition to a library I’ve ever seen. They had a teen section with bean bags and video games. Really cute place for such a small town.

We feel so lucky to have such a wonderful library up river. The librarians are fantastic. They go out of their way to make sure we have a diverse selection of books in the children's section as well as a packed schedule of events for the community. This is such a valuable resource! Thank you to the wonderful staff!

This is small town library, so the library itself is small. However, don't let the size of the building fool you. This little library is pretty packed. Aside from loads if books for all ages, they also have an excellent selection of Blueray and DVD movies for checkout. If there is a book you want to check out and it's not on the shelf (or checked out), they can get it from one of the other libraries in the valley. There is free WiFi access 24/7. To use it after hours, you just sit in the parking lot and you have access. The library also has computers for patron use. There are 5 (I believe) desktop PC's for use in the library and a number of laptops for checkout (I don't believe these leave the building upon checkout. I'll have to check on that and provide an update). Parking is free and wheelchair accessible. The staff are very friendly and very willing to help. It's s nice little library.

Best Library I have been to in a while. The staff is wonderful and 100% willing to help. They remeber the community and also ask how you are doing. They have recommended books too me based on books I've been checking out. Again, I LOVE this library.

For our little town this is great place. Always a few folks parked nearby logging into the free wifi. Inside, they probably have what you're looking for, if not they try their best to source it.

The staff are very friendly and are very helpful. Always getting in new movies and books. No matter what you are looking for, it might be here in The Upper Skagit Library.
