Act One Ice Cream Parlor

WOW you got to come here. One Act is just an absolutely outstanding destination place in Concrete Washington. Come and meet Fred. He is just a real joy o, he makes any day special. He listens very carefully to what you want and then makes recommendations and then he throws in an extra little idea. for example, " You want chocolate,try this one. It has chocolate brownies inside of the mint ice cream."
I just thought that was just so cool how he just extends your experience.

For my husband , I ended up getting some really nummy Rustic Bakery cookies. I got the lemon shortbread one to take home.

Just a bunch of extra little touches that make this a place to come. Have memories, sit down, relax and then take home something, a little bit of joy to remember this occasion.

Valerie is outstanding woman. Come back and see her local. Artist gallery in the back of the shop. There's a conference room back here where you can have parties. Tomorrow a local church has babysitting in the here. While the parents are watching movies in the beautifully redone theater.

I mean there's so much love and care and beautiful craftsmanship that has been put into this place. Give yourself a treat and make it effort to stop by. On Friday, Saturday and Sundays there are music or theater events. you can rent the hall or theater out for special occasions.

Valerie and Fred live life to the fullest and they're always looking out for new ideas to bring home . They take off and travel in March and November.

Come on over all the other months and give yourself some wonderful Christmas holiday cheer, spring time fellowship, summer films, fall concerts. There's just a whole bunch of things going.

The neighborhood is just really enriched because of Fred and Valeri. During covid people couldn't really get out of their houses and the theater closed for a while, but the community spirit didn't fade. Valerie invented drive up popcorn. you can see a picture of it in the gallery.
the cars lined up down that main Street just for blocks and blocks and blocks and the sheriff came by to see what was going up.
The sheriff ended up handing out popcorn for an hour himself.

All the money was donated for the local community action center, which is sponsors activities and free meals and counseling and all kinds of activities here in the concrete area. So come be part of the community.

The ice cream was really creamy and super yummy. Both my 3-year-old and 10-year-old loved it. I couldn't get enough of the Superman and vanilla flavors. The person serving us was super nice and patient when I had questions.

Drool worthy ice cream 🤤 the staff at the counter was so patient and accommodating. I got the cowlick and pirates treasure. Both tasted very homemade and authentic. So happy with my choices :)

The ice cream parlor is nestled in a cinema that’s been around for 100 years!

What a wonderful little ice cream shop!! We visited with a group of 50 people and the staff was so nice and helpful! They were so patient taking all of our orders and making sure everyone was taken care of. If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth the stop! 😋

Enjoyed our espresso drinks and my waffle cone with honey graham ice cream. The ice cream comes all the way from Wisconsin (edited after feedback!) and is delicious.

A wonderful, family-owned establishment with a wide selection of unique ice cream flavors to satisfy any craving! Staff was patient and hospitable with ice cream samples as well. I had the “Jumping Jersey Cow”, a peanut butter and chocolate ice cream with crushed Reese’s Pieces. Flavor was rich in depth and a pleasant surprise!

One of the nicest, cleanest restrooms I’ve ever seen as well.

Couldn’t recommend more. If you’re in town or just passing through, stop by - you won’t regret it!

Some of the best ice cream I've had and really interesting flavors to choose from and great waffle cones

Very good ice cream and maybe the best waffle cone I’ve ever had! I recommend the huckleberry ice cream and the blackberry swirl. They had mostly fruity flavors, no chocolate or cookies ‘n cream, but perhaps they rotate flavors. The price was a little high. We paid over $15 including tax for two double dip cones. I’m still glad we found it.

We flew in to the Concrete Airport and had a wonderful surprise with this cute little ice cream shop! Turns out the friendly young man working there is a pilot too! Eating ice cream and talking flying with this young pilot just made our entire trip!

Delicious ice cream and a movie theater attached! They have Black Licorice Ice Cream! They also show movies in the refurbished theater.

Usually I’d pick something like a strawberry or strawberry cheesecake but I went with the Sour Splash on this very warm summer day. The Green Apple, Watermelon, and Lemon was super delicious and it’s a sorbet combo that I’ve never seen before. Definitely recommend!

Very cute place! Love your posters! Caramel icecream with almonds was really good! Just one suggestion though; please make sure the waffle cones are closed on the bottom. Mine leaked all over the place. It tasted really good though😋

Nice variety to choose from for a small ice cream shop. Excellent brand choice. Good friendly service and the place is always clean. And a lovely outdoor seating area I which they provide a water dish for the dogs. 🐕 🦮🐶

This place is the bomb, we came in at 5:30 pm with 60 people. They were so kind and got everyone what they needed! 🍦

Wow worth every penny. Homemade waffle cones and extremely flavoursome ice cream!

Very nice and polite young man working there!! Closes at 7pm. We went at 6:30pm and asked for cups instead of cones so we could bring it back to our hotel freezer until we had dinner and they were more than willing to do so. My favorite place in Concrete!

The whole downtown area is so cute and this place has some delicious ice cream. They have tons of flavors and perfectly made waffle cones. Would definitely recommend this place
