Bob Marriott's Fly Fishing Store

No really sure about all the different experiences in reviews that I've seen but I have to say my experience with your store was really appreciative. I ordered a vise and extra components but there was a time issue and error in the ordering process with your vender...that is understandable. I sent a e mail and promptly received a responce from a individual named Riley.... Riley communicated with me almost daily until we worked out a alternate replacement order which was actually better for me and my style...... In short..Riley is a outstanding individual who gave everything they had to help solve this issue and really deserves to to commended for their customer service which was well above what could or should be expected. Thank you, Riley and you definitely have and deserve all my respect.

I was greeted at the door and assisted to find the products that I was looking for. The store was arranged, premade flies, fly tying supplies, flyfishing gear, and guide information about different locations. They offer classes in fly tying. The store is easy to locate and close to the freeway.

Extremely very helpful staff I came in there with some old fly rods in often him to the youth they told me about for fly fishing helped out a great place I can't say enough about. They treated me just like family great great staff

Very Novice fisherman.. walked in with some old gear I borrowed from a friend to try out fly fishing. The guys that helped me answered every question I had about it. Helped me find some new line and lures and even gave me some tips to help make my upcoming trip more successful.. ill definitely be back to buy more gear from them. love this store, its a dream fly fishing store. Haven't had a bad experience yet. All the employees I have talked with were happy and eager to help me out and explain whatever I needed since I am new to fly fishing world. Haven't been in there yet without hearing "is there something I can help you with? " Even the customers in there are in another zone of friendliness. My only complaint is they need more stores :D

Just spent $200 in fly tying materials and I'm happy as a clam. Best selection I've ever seen. Way better than Bass Pro Shops. No comparison. Shop local.

I came in here with my switch rod on very little knowledge of which lines to use for my rod. Craig helped me out and helped inform me on what lines are best for my uses, He helped spool backing and line on my reel and got me setup and on my way in a quick manner. Thanks Craig, ill be back here for sure.

Several months ago I spoke with Brian at Marriott FLY FISHING regarding the Simms taco bag, and at that time they were out. I just received two phone calls from Brian saying that the item was in stock now and would be available for purchase. That is EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE to follow up with me several months later. Thanks, Brian! I will think of Marriott Fly Fishing store when I need fly fishing equipment. This is my type of quality business.

I know absolutely NOTHING about fly fishing when I entered, but left with a better understanding with the help of Marriott’s awesome staff. Bill helped me out and guided me to the things I need for a quick fishing trip I had this weekend and because of him, eased my nerves on what to expect. This place is definitely a must-go-to-establishment based on customer service and if I enjoy my trip, I will defiantly be back to see Bill.

The person who waited on me was very helpful. A great place for purchasing fly fishing equipment. A great assortment of flies.

The staff was great! One of the best shops I've ever walked into. Traveling across this country and fishing everywhere I travel, some shops have staff that aren't too friendly... not here!! Bob Marriotts staff is amazing. Nick, TC, and Jason were all great, friendly and welcoming! Lots of information on flys, local knowledge on fish and spots to try. 10/10 will shop here again!!

I am new to saltwater (surf) fly fishing and haven't done much fly fishing for 40 years. I have been to Bob Marriott's twice now and purchased both times. They could not have been more friendly and helpful. Made me feel comfortable asking basic questions and took the time to teach me about gear and knots. Even offered to help with my line/backing knot if I would bring my reel in next time. They weren't overbearing while I Iooked around but did check on me from time to time to make sure I was finding what I needed. Other shops can really make you feel like an outsider...not these guys. Don't be shy...they want to help...give them a try.

I was impressed with the customer service I received with an online order. The item I ordered was out of stock but they went out of their way to keep me informed and had the supplier drop ship my item. Top notch service, something that is rare in this day and age. Thank you. I will be a repeat customer.

I just ordered a few simple tying materials from the online shop last week. I got a call this weekend that one of the items (about $3.00) was back ordered and when it would ship. Great customer service! I purchase items from the online store occasionally and always get great service.

My wife and I made an appointment for a casting lesson. Ben was our instructor. I had fly fished previously, but my wife had never touched a fly rod before.

When we got to the park, Ben took his time with us explaining all of the finer point of rod setup, feeding line, multiple casts and rod breakdown. He was very knowledgeable on the mechanics of each cast and was able to identify the cause of our individual issues.

We had a great time.

I finished the fly fishing class on Sunday. Kevin Bell was the instructor. It was a all day class. He even took all of us out to a near by lake to practice our casts. This was a very informative class with hands on experience and worth every dollar. At the end he let us walk through the store and explained a lot of the items and how they are used. I recommend that you don't pay attention to the cry baby reviewers and go see for yourself. This is really a great store with knowledgeable people that serve the fly fishing community well.

I took casting lessons from Kevin, and enjoyed them.

Recently I ordered some fly tying materials online from Australia. Deciding on which full capes to purchase was worryingly hard. They are quite the investment. It is also tough due to the nature of cape availability.

The team at Bobb’s demonstrated the patience of saints as I swapped and changed my order at least 5 times due to availability issues. Nothing was too onerous for them.

Could not recommend this place enough. In these crazy COVID times it is so pleasant to find people helping people. Thanks guys.

Last Saturday, Ben helped me in putting backing and lines on a couple of spools that I had brought into the store. After completing these tasks one of the spools needed additional backing and I asked Ben to add some and he did so without complaining! Also, he gave gave me some excellent info regarding float tube fins / waders. I have been a longtime customer and drive a long distance to shop here!!
