Mirkwood Public House

This place is always a good time!! We had a blast ringing in the new year here. They did a good job of putting on such a big event. Dinner, dancing, live music!!! We had a BLAST. Thanks Mirkwood!

Went there for open mic and the backup host Jacob did awesome running the event! Plus he could play the heck outta just about every instrument. I was able to play and sing a few songs and enjoyed a great meal. Look forward to heading back down that way in the near future!

I cannot say enough great things about this place. Awesome menu, great food, absolutely excellent service, has tattoo shop upstairs, and they host a variety of awesome stuff in the evening. Including gaming nights, live music, and a variety of other cool stuff. This place is an especially awesome place to go if you're a nerd!

The food here is incredible! Generous portions and great service! I got the pulled pork sandwich with fries. They layered the pulled pork and coleslaw in one sandwich! So good! The fries look fresh cut and are tasty, especially paired with the house ranch. I complimented the ranch because it's not just standard or buttermilk, It's a complex flavor for the item, the lady who served us said it’s the chef's recipe. I know this is not just a Hidden Valley flavoring packet like most places.

The pricing is reasonable for the food quality and portion size. The pulled pork dish was $14 I think.

Mirkwood is a hidden gem!

Oh and the decor, Lord of the Rings and fantasy themed. So fun!

Awesome place, I've spent over $25,000 there over the years. Beer is good 👍👍 food is unmatched, venue and atmosphere is all over the board.

Incredible Artwork all over, it's a great place for the creative mind .

This place was absolutely amazing. As a musician that played here with my band The Sooner The Better, the experience was surreal. The venue is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and the food is INCREDIBLE. The sound guy was also very sweet and did a great job with our band. Hope to play here again very soon!!!

Rating 5/5 because I was pleasantly surprised. We stopped through on our way back from Darrington. I was surprised to see reasonable vegetarian and vegan options on the menu and many salads to choose from. The nachos looked great and my burger and salad was delicious. Great little spot for sure, I’d love to come back for a concert!

Great venue, amazing staff. Got a chance to play there and not only was the crowd welcoming, but the sound man was top notch. Thanks for an excellent experience and next time I am anywhere near Mirkwood, definitely coming in for a beer and some good food and atmosphere

It is a bar/restaurant with live music some nights and open mic some nights. Friendly atmosphere.

Watched the live action version of Rocky Horror Picture Show. My friend was in it!! The place was packed!! I was amazed by how much audience participation there was. The actors were fantastic!! The food was absolutely amazing!! Atmosphere was soooo inviting!!! Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💋💋💋

I been there too many times,I love the place the food is great,the people so friendly & music is amazing 🤩 highly recommended everything is so clean,the service always great…forgot to mention that I drive one hour and a half to get there and is so worth it🤍🖤💚💛❤

Great little hole in the wall. For bar food, I give it 5 stars. Lots of vegetarian options. Tuesday nights are drag shows 👍

This place has catered toward love and acceptance from the moment you walk in the door. I feel a home away from home when I enter. So many interesting and unique personalities finding a common joy within a safe space.
Highly recommend and truly a sanctuary space for all. Magic is and always will be. No but really, Magic the Gathering and brunch is so epic!!! They truly welcome all.

This place has the best food and awesome drinks! EDM nights are Tuesday and Friday and it is packed. Really great vibe. Rad tattoo shop, too!

Lance and crew are great! Bartender made yummy cocktails and cut out the sugar for me. Cook was new tonight, but that's alright. Looking forward to live music and drag...

Also, there is a ramp on the right side of the building as the front stairs are historic and maybe difficult to navigate.

Been there twice so far, love it there! We went last night and there was a small miscommunication but we got it handled! Staff is SUPER sweet and respectful, and even being nerodivergent they are accommodating and understanding. I wanna go more, I just can't drive to save my life. I feel the prices are moderate and fair, I just wish I got more fries with a burger but you HAVE TO TRY THE MOZZARELLA STICKS, they're sooooo good and addicting.

The sweet potato fries keep me coming back! Maybe I will make it in time for real food if I can make it before 10/11. This place has karaoke on a huge screen and is a must see for any Lord of the Rings fans.
