Gallagher's Pub HB

Sweet venue, small and intimate if you're there to see a band. Food is surprisingly awesome. The club sandwich with wedges was the bomb. Waitresses and bus dudes are very attentive and don't leave dishes, bottles or cups piled up at your table. We will definitely return!

Food was delicious. We stayed at Kimpton and it was a short walk. So glad we stopped

Gallagher's is an awesome local spot with great Taco Tuesdays, karaoke, comedy nights and always great bands!!!! Always a fun time!

I was honored to see my son Kevin Tomlinson and his band The Borrowed Chords play on Sunday night. The atmosphere was energized and the food was great. The whole pub sang along and danced. It was a great time for everyone. I would totally recommend this place and go back when I visit California again.

Had tickets for the Blasters on Saturday night, 2/2. We we're celebrating a birthday. Contacted Scott the owner, admittedly, at the last minute and he was great. He reserved a table for the four of us so we could sit and enjoy the show. Food and drinks were great. Checking out the calendar for another show. Great night all around. And they validate parking if you park in the structure below.

Great spot in HB that has LIVE MUSIC! To some that doesn’t seem like a big thing but in HB it really is. The food is good and has a nice Irish flare to it. A lot of great choices from the bar and never had a drink that was soft.

I was on the hunt for a locals bar with drinks tgat weren't overpriced. I found the company of the regulars to be awesome. They made me feel right at home. The staff was wonderful and friendly. It's a small bar with great prices and wonderful patrons. If You're looking to get away from the tourist traps close by this is your spot.

Fantastic place!!!! Great selection of drinks, great food at great prices. The bartender, Lindsey, was fantastic. Live music by Rasta Fuego. What a great place to spend some time and make some friends. I will be back -- frequently. Thanks guys.

Most awesome place to go. Chill, not to loud. Nice patio area and the foods great. The employees make you feel at home, awesome guys. And Paul's piano skills are delightful.

I always have a great time here. It's the perfect place to meet up with friends and check out local bands. I love their breakfast burrito and totchos (tater tot nachos). Best place to get a drink downtown!

Came on the Big Red Bus tour with the American Wake. Even with 3 bus load of people coming in at the same time I was still able to get drinks poured within minutes. Bartenders were focused and still really friendly despite the chaos. Highly recommended!

Great food, had a Turkey burger, I recomend the chipotle mayo and Slaw, cant wait to see a band here. Super cool staff. see ya next week, gonna try your pizza.

For your bartender the longer the beard the better the beer. Paul can sing and English man James serves up good beer. Irish bars are always worth a few beerz. Love comedy night every Thursday. It's 3 comedians. Free. Been going 20+ years. Best night to go.

This is a great little spot for karaoke on Tuesdays. They have some good bands roll through as well. Big names like Missing Persons. Its downtown by the pier.

The food here is unexpectedly superb. I'm eating wild caught salmon, perfectly cooked with a creative lemon sauce. Like, a decent presentation and friendly staff. Recommended.

Went for Taco Tuesday, it is family all ages until 10 pm and 21 and over after 10 pm, good promotions on taco Tuesday and the also have Happy Hour, we had a great time here

The original Downtown HB pub with an eclectic mix of locals, tourists and various musical genre crowds. Good intimate venue to see some of your favorite bands or see a suprising big name act sneak in a gig or two on the downlow. A few tasty dishes to choose from and like any good pub a good selection of beers and spirits!

Was invited to go to Gallager's by a friend to watch Chicago Blackhawks games. Read some mixed reviews, and went to check it out. THIS PLACE KICKS ASS FOR CHICAGO SPORTS!!!! Service was great. All of the employees are friendly and bust their asses. The drinks are spot on, beer is cold, all the food I've had was good, and the place is clean. So far, every time I've been I've had a great time and met some really nice and friendly people. Bad reviewers must have been rooting for the other team....

My favourite (and frankly only) spot to frequent in DT HB. Great service, plus fantastic stand up comedy every Thursday night!! Super yummy Irish Stew and Powers on the rocks for me 😋
