Yum! Pancake was an authentic dinner type pancake. Soooo delicious. Service could improve by attentiveness, but other than that staff is very genuine and kind. Food came out quickly as well 🙌

Will be returning. 👍

Love this place! Sign on the wall says they've been around since 1946 and I believe it. Counter seating, old diner tables and chairs. Love the atmosphere, good food, friendly staff.

I enjoyed my #3 Specialty Sandwich, which was turkey breast, avocado, lettuce, tomato, sprouts, and mayo on squaw bread, with a side of delicious potato salad. Onion rings were good too.

One of the premier spots in OC. Serive is quick and food is so so tasty. You have to try this place. It is not exactly traditional. The portions are huge, and for the right price. This place has its own style and I will always fond time to stop and eat here.

Old school dinner, constantly excellent. If you’re near downtown Santa Ana and not having breakfast here, you’ve chosen poorly.

This little gem serves the best food, no joke. I suggest the deep fried French toast or one of their delicious omelets but hands down the best menu item is the Irish potatoes. Employees are warm and inviting. Only negative things to say is that it is such a small establishment and is a bit cramped inside.

Love this place. The food is awesome. Service is awesome. It's a very cute little restaurant that is big on flavor. Love will love it here. Coffee was great as well. They have bar type seating as well as a few tables inside, and they also have outside seating this is a must try place open for breakfast and lunch only.

I loved it!! Visited the cafe for the 1st time. Portions are hefty, I'd plan on sharing a dish.

I noticed that one of my icons is for "breakfast burrito" so I thought I'd lean into it, especially since amazing breakfast burritos are found all over Southern California, where I frequently travel for work as a criminal defense lawyer.

Anyway, I was at the state court in Santa Ana so i thought I'd try Pop's. It's an old timey diner set up with counter service and a few tables. They have all kinds of breakfast but I was here for the burrito, which I got with ham. This was a gringo style breakfast burrito, the best example of the genre is Ham n Scram in Westminster. It had the chopped up ham, hash browns, cheesish, eggs and a Pico de Gallo with Tapatio in a bottle. The ingredients were pretty obviously Sysco, which is fine. A little heavy on the hashbrowns, which were also a tad undercooked, but I devoured it and the five stars speaks for itself.

My first time there, the food and service were outstanding , I would definitely go back.

Regular french toast for breakfast. Delicious and worth the wait for those interested in dining out. would recommend to friends and family. wonderful staff too!

A truly authentic experience at an old cafe that shouldn’t be missed. The breakfast fare is delicious, the coffee is great, and the sourdough toast with some atacado I had this time was exactly what I needed. Jose provided excellent service and everyone is so nice. Check this place out and keep it local!

Love this small spot, home made cooking. I had the half and half French toast with bacon and eggs. So delicious, want to come back and try other items from there menu

I was by pops but I did not have the opportunity yet to dine there. I have heard nothing but good and I absolutely positively got to get in there and try the deep fried french toast. That sounds so awesome like French toast is fabulous to start with and when it helps start clogging your arteries for you that's the bomb I shouldn't say that, last time I said something about arteries clogging after a fast food meal I wound up in Cardiac Care with 100% blockage and five stents. Their menu looks great definitely got to try it

My #1 spot for breakfast and lunch! Best steak sandwich in Santa Ana! In my opinion!! Love the atmosphere and the staff are amazing! Thank you Donna and Megan!
